I stated that it has to do with what kind of following it has. Lovecraft was putting forth the argument that general public awareness is what differentiates a "cult movie" from just being a movie, and I disagreed. I simply went with the religious angle because that is where the film term is derived from. Surely a religous cult is defined by being different from the more established religions (as in the idea itself is the cult, not the following), whereas a cult following is (obviosuly) based around the following.

Nah, for the most part I was playing Devils Advocate. I don't give a fuck if people do whatever drugs. Obviously, I think it's dumb, but that's purely my opinion. Aside from a couple of opinions all I did was respond to flawed comments people made. Yeah, there's risk involved with any drugs and it's fairly dumb to pump shit into your systems when no-one knows the full effect of it, but it's no more dumb than drinking soda instead of water or eating unhealthily. I've been saying this for months. NHB needs a mod. It's seperate from the rest of the board, however if you get rid of it you probably lose a fair bit of traffic. If you have a couple of moderators specifically for the folder who have been around for a while, then the problems fixed.
