After almost ten years where there have been far more misses than hits, it's tough to really get excited when the odds are WWE will find some way to screw things up. After a while, even the staunchest fan gets disillusioned. Oh poor little disillusioned you. At the end of the day, if you want to watch WWE watch it. If you feel let down and disillusioned and don't want to watch it, don't. If you feel dissillusioned and dislike the product but watch it anyway, then don't bitch about it because you know it's not for you. If you go into things with the attitude of they're gonna fuck it up, however true that may be, you won't enjoy it because you'll be waiting for it to fail, you wont be thinking about the match and if they do something well, you wont appreciate it as much because you'll still be waiting for them to fuck it up. WWE is Sports Entertainment. They don't do things the smarks agree with, but that's because the people on this board aren't their target audience. Either watch it as a fan or don't watch it at all.

I enjoy Raw. It doesn't offend me and it's better than watching nothing (which is the alternative). It has some good workers, there are some decent storylines, I'm intrigued as to what will happen next week. I'm excited at the thought of Ken Doane getting a push further down the line, I'm excited at Albright getting TV time, I'm excited that ECW and DX look to be coming back which will shake things up a bit, I'm excited that WWE doesn't have a set plan and that, better or worse, anything could happen in the next few months. Now, if that makes me an idiot, so be it. I'll hapily watch TNA, Japanese or US Indie stuff. But WWE is a regular weekly fix and has more, if not neccesarily better, things going on than the other promotions. It's not the best promotion in the world, but it's the one which is easiest to see and gets most time so why not watch it, and if watching it, why not enjoy what your seeing? WWE is built for marks, so why not just suspend beleif and watch it as it's meant to be watched without thinking about logic gaps or backstage politics.

High ticket prices = less likely to be bought by touts and more chance for hardcore fans to buy them. I'm seeing Radiohead at a festival in Paris this year. Radiohead, Morrisey, DJ Shadow, Broken Social Scene and a bunch of others. And the tickets are less than $100. Which is chicken feed when other festivals cost the equivalent of $300.

I enjoy Umaga. I don't want to see him in 30 minute main events, but as a weekly squash it's good. Builds him up to be taken down, and his offence is at least more interesting than Masters when he was squashing people. Plus I've liked Jamal since 3MW.

Fuck smarkishness, I enjoy Raw. Maybe it's because they're getting desperate, but they're throwing a lot of shit against the wall to see what sticks, and I like that. ECW, the Edge/Cena/HHH fued, Mickie James, RVD/Shelton, Carlito, The Spirit Squad, Umaga. It's all good.

Comments works for wrestling folders, because there's lots of things which don't warrant a topic but do warrent a short converation (decent matches, Trish's ass etc). These topice are gonna get less that 20 replies at the bestof times, so why clog a folder up with them. Elsewhere, fuck it.
