Have they even said if the winner gets anything other than the "King Of The Ring" name? I'm not sure where they're going with this. From the vbuild Long gave, it sounds like they're building it up as something a young guy wins to move up to the next level, so that might put Angle, Benoit and Benoit out of the picture. I think Lashley may win it.

What a difference 6 months makes...

I'm guessing they could do a team Angle deal, where the tag team eventually turn on him to go for glory.

I give it to the end of the year for Teddy Hart to turn up.

I'd rather see Albright in the "Benoit protege" spot. I worry for what WWE will do with a member of the Hart family.

Went from a Tag Team to a singles push. I think Nitro is more marketable than Edge. He's got more of a "star" look.

Having watched SD for the first time in a while, I've got to say that Johnny Nitro is pushing Ken Doane for a place as my favorite wretler in WWE. That elbow over the rope and the breakdancing leg-drop? Gold! Plus, he's got a great look. The guy just looks like he's born to be a star. Although, maybe that's just next to Mercury. I also loved the interaction between Benoit and Albright. If Benoit get's behind him and tries to elevate him, then Albright may well get over in the same way he did.

No. Spaz is a derivitive of Spastic, which refers to a condition that causes muscle spasms due to a problem with your nervous system. Retard comes from retardation which is to slow growth or development of something, eg an under-developed mental capacity. I can handle people being geeks, so long as they're inteligent with it.

Stop saying Shelton Benjamin is nothing more then a Spot Wrestler...
k thx replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in The WWE Folder
If he wrestles as a spot wrestler, then he's a spot wrestler. The Boogeyman could probably wrestle a non-gimmick match. Doesn't mean he's not a gimmick. -
I liked the page.

I think it's kinda fake.

Any attachment to someone you've spoken to a few time on the net isn't real emotional attachment. Empathy maybe, but nothing more. If she's worth anything she wouldn't be hitting on guys on the net. And I'm guessing her description/photos were a total lie and she's probably realised she can't go through with it.

Who do you think is the worst poster on the board?
k thx replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in No Holds Barred
Nothing to do with the thread, but I found this while searching for acronyms and abbreviations. -
Bitch done gone lost his mind.

It's only fitting that WWE bring back a guy who's first gimmick saw him raise creatures that roll around in their own crap. He can babysit the writing team so that Bradshaw and Orlando don't get them drunk. This post makes no sense whatsoever. Kenzo coming back is a surprise. He was only around originally because he was Japanese and they wanted an evil heel. If they already know he can't get over at this, and no-ones gonna pop for his return, why re-sign him? At least take a chance on someone else.

[Q] From Jess Paxton in the USA: “Is there a story behind the phrase donkey’s years?” [A] It’s a pun on donkey’s ears, they being long. The phrase, meaning a long time, is chiefly in British use, though known in the USA and elsewhere, and was first recorded in 1916 as donkey’s ears (which is why we’re sure about the punning origin). Within ten years or so it is recorded in the modern form. The idea was supported by the belief that donkeys did in fact live a very long time. World Wide Words is copyright © Michael Quin You don't know it Slayer? It's a perfectly cromulent phrase.
