  1. I like it, but it needs real rosters.
  2. here
  3. I don't have one, but I'd say either a gas station men's room or... this should do: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/259205.asp <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Superlative.
  4. So.... I started playing my PSP on the way to work, and it turns out that my analogue stick is broken. Or rather that the little rubber bit has come off. Anybody know where I can get a replacement for it?
  5. So far as I know, you don't need to license music for use on TV. Hence why it's missing from products they sell such as DVDs and Games.
  6. I like it. The one thing I don't like is having to play old-school games on a conventional controller with a remote stuck on it, but apart from that it offers a cool alternative. Should be good for the WTF factor when friends come round.
  7. It was recorded in 24 hours by one member of the band. I wouldn't read anything into it about the next album.

Dames roamed through the country for the next week armed only with a baseball bat and his cunning. Many times he fought alien invaders, and he whacked them every time. The aliens were friendly vegetarians and only a foot tall, but Dames didn't care. He hated vegetarians. During this time he made friends with an albino called George, and together they took control of an alien spaceship. They flew to Amsterdam and got some hookers. Then they flew back. It was a good day. Eventually Dames killed George in a ketamine fuelled rage and ate his heart. Dames arrived back in America in December to news that Paris Hilton was going to have a baby. He knew now, that this was the time to act. Dames would drive to Paris Hilton's house and save the world from her demon offspring.

  12. Second morning, and in the space of two balls Aussies drop one and have a blatant catch not given. I'm so glad I've got today off work.

I watched the last half hour in a local pub. The one thing I realised is that Sven's England have never been able to come back from a goal down properly. As soon as they scored, I couldn,t see us getting anything back. Damn uncompetative qualifying matches. Cricket's where it's at now! A sport a Hampshire team can win a trophy in can't be bad.
  14. Free Running is pretty cool to watch. I can see it being a decent Tony Hawk's style game, and it should do well in Europe.
  15. Just signed 30 yr old Defoe for League One Bournemouth on a free. Best transfer I ever made.
  16. Got PSPvideo9 and it works fine, but I can't get it to convert a file that's already MP4. I've got 40 year old virgin in MP4 and no matter what I do, it won't read it on the PSP. I tried changing the file name to tie in with what PSPvideo9 does, but it just comes up saying unsupported data. Maybe it's the file or the way it's put together.
  17. Quick question for anyone in the know: I got a PSP Saturday, and it's great, but I'm wondering how to put an MP4 movie I've already downloaded onto the PSP. It's really bugging me. Also, anyone know of any good PSP forums?

They rolled across the country in the limo. Suddenly, the sky went dark. An alien spaceship appeared over the horizon. It shot at the limo and blew it up before heading off to destroy the rest of Canada. Emerging from the burning wreckage, Dames screamed: "I WILL HAVE MY VENGANCE~!"
  19. I call Jordan turning face on JBL, leading to a feud between them after JBL beats Benoit for the US title.
  20. OUTRAGE~!
  21. And so the aftermath... Reading was hella cool (despite some bastards cutting open my tent and swiping some mini-speakers while I was watching The Go! team). My opinions on what I saw, for those who care: Friday Do Me Bad Things: First band on the main stage, a shame their gear went kaput after 10 seconds of their first song. Good live band, with a lot of crossover appeal. You know you're close to the stage when you can see the singers cock. Goldie Lookin' Chain: Great early festival band. Funny, got the crowd going, and great choruses to sing along to. They can also rap live pretty well. Mando Diao: Promising little band. Typical spikey guitar fare with nothing to make them stand out, and the tent was pretty empty, but could come out with something good. Saul Williams: Ace. Great delivery, a lot more charisma and stage presence than I would have expected from him, and it's great just to hear him talk. The crowd loved him too. The Killers: Overated album, annoying frontman, crap live. Only saw the to get a place for... The Pixies: Great set. Amazed how many people were singing along to album tracks from well over a decade ago. Pretty mellow near the front, with most people there to pay homage as oppsed to rock out. Saturday Nine Black Alps: Saw them from a distance for a few minutes to kill some time. Massive crowd. Quite grungey. Have the potential to break out and appeal to all the grunge kids. Artic Monkeys: THEY WILL BE BIG. Superb set full of energy. They've only released one single, yet the crowd were singing along to songs that were leaked as though they were classics. Remind me a bit of The Jam brought up to date, only with more energy and less annoying. great songs, great sound, great band. Razorlight: Caught half of their set from a distance. A few years time and they'll be in stadium territory. Great ear for catchy melodies and put on a solid enough show. They wont change any lives, but worth seeing for some mindlesss good fun. Arcade Fire. Really good live band. Also good to see a large group of people who knew all the songs. Not the best live band around, as some have said, but definateely worth seeing nevertheless. Baby Shambles: Saw half their set from a distance. They're a trainwreck but Pete Doherty os a fucking good songwriter and is akways worth watching. Seemed to be fairly coherent onstage, it'll be interesting what they can put out on record, if they ever finish off their album. The Go! Team. Fucking amazing. I dont know her name, but the frontwoman was easily the most watchable person I saw at the festival. Recreated the albums sound superbly with a live band. Really got the crowd going and seemed to be in awe of the moment. If you only listen to one thing I say, make it this: YOU MUST SEE THE GO! TEAM LIVE. Band of the weekend. Sunday Turbonegro: Not a great live band, no-one turned up to see them, and those who did weren't into them. But, they were funny, put a lot of effort into their stage show and they finished before I started wanting them to. Saul Williams (in the comedy tent): If anything he impressed me even more than he did with his set on Friday. Did a few readings of poetry (and got a few bottles aimed his way for his trouble). Those that wanted to be there, as oppesed to those who just hadn't been bothered to move since the hypnotist who was on before him, ate it up. Really energetic speaker, and when he speks you just feel the whole crowd hanging on every word he says. When he finished, pretty much everyone got up and he got a standing ovation, which I've never seen before. Really good stuff. Marilyn Manson: Really impressed me. I've always liked Mansons stuff, especially Mechanical Animals, but as I've got older and he's got crapper and my musical taste has diversified he's no longer the must-see act he was a few years back. However, his live set was absolutely amazing. Good showman, good band and they stuck to the stuff which everyone knew and sung along to. I also started a pit, which I haven't done in years. You know you're getting old when you're one of the few people who knows Tournequet... Adam Green: Again, really impressed me. I loved "Friends Of Mine" but Gemstones was pretty gash and I'd heard he was crap live. However, he seemed pretty motivated here, and got everyone singing along. He also played a good bit of "Friends Of Mine" which made me happy. A further commendation goes to the Cabaret tent on Friday and Saturday. There was a guyt there whose job it was to sweep up after the acts had finished, and he looked like Lionel Ritchie. We heckled all the other acts (apart from Min In Coats, they rock) until he came on afterwards. He even sung Hello and Dancing On The Ceiling to us. The Bacardi Bar was also hella cool, and a good place to score. However, because we were camped directly by the part of the perimiter fence which had holes in, we had all the theives sneaking in with knives to steal stuff. As a result, I got about 3 hours sleep in a 60 hour period while keeping watch, and am now pretty ill. Still a fucking amazing weekend though.
  22. The Go! Team: Bottle Rocket
  23. I love that Cradle Of Filth are considered one of the top five British bands...
  24. I loved the use of Sigur Ros's song at the end of Vanilla Sky. Also, the Amelie soundtrack rocks.

Dames arrived in Canada the next day. It was cold in Canada. He didn't like the cold. He liked the Sun. The Sun was not compatible with snow, he mused. This was deep for Damien Gonzales. He was a simple man with simple pleasures. Like playing with cling film. And pissing in the snow. That'll show it who's boss. As soon as he arrived in Canada, he had a curious sensation of being watched. The bus terminal was packed, and no-one was looking at him, but he still felt uneasy. He looked around and realised that not only were people not looking at him, they were actively avoiding him. This was the moment that Dames realised he was naked. He was a simple man with simple pleasures. This wasn't one of them. A trip to the Canadian Clothes Cabin later, he set out in to the street. He was approached by a mysterious lady wearing one of those old 50's style hats. She spoke in a broad North Canada accent. "I saw your penis earlier Dames" "How do you know my name?" "You have it tattooed on your penis" "Yeah. I did want Damien Gonzales, but 'twas not to be. And that's the story of how I became Dames" "Indeed. I know who you are Dames, come with me" "Okay!" They walked into a waiting limo. Little did Dames realise that this was the moment his life would change forever.
