The OAO Raw IS Diva SearcHHH thread
Youth N Asia replied to DerangedHermit's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm sorry, I didn't know you already had me figured out. I skimmed the thread, and since I tape RAW (I need sleep at that time to get up for work at 2am) I fast forward the segments. So I don't know the names, I just know I like the bouncy red head. -

I still don't know any of the "diva" names. But big red there is friggin hot. I just wish they'd rush this crap and get it over with. -

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

Don't look for logic in Buffy. SITS...Buffy has years of training and Slayer power. Yet it takes her forever to kill the first Ubervamp. The SITS have weeks of training and Slayer strength for all of a second and they're dusting them left and right. -
Yeah, him and Voss are their best. But I'd put them at numbers 4 and 5 overall at best.

Has the tag division ever seemed this lost before?
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
With that being said, the WWE seems to be ignoring all things ECW. I know they were both in Corino's stable for a little while, but the WWE would never acknowledge that, so it's more or less another makeshift. -
1 Resident Evil: Apocalypse $23,700,000/$23,700,000 2 Cellular $10,600,000/$10,600,000 3 Without a Paddle $4,575,000/$45,581,000 4 Hero $4,419,876/$41,651,681 5 The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement $2,931,000/$89,258,000 6 Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid $2,900,000/$27,671,000 7 Vanity Fair $2,749,809/$11,232,134 8 Collateral $2,700,000/$92,600,000 9 Napoleon Dynamite $2,650,000/$30,427,518 10 Paparazzi $2,600,000/$11,834,918 11 Wicker Park $2,550,000/$11,113,000 12 The Cookout $2,350,000/$9,243,000 ---------------------- Interesting week No suprise that RE's #1, even though I haven't heard one positive thing about it. Cellular looks far better, but I haven't seen near as much ad time. After just 2 weeks Wicker Park and The Cookout are out of the top 10, and Paparazzi barely stayed in. Safe to call all 3 of those bombs. Vanity Fair held its ground, even after a weak opening, low screencount, and fact that movies like that never seem to do well. Princess Diaries also held the same spot as last week. Without a Paddle seems to still be doing well, although I don't know a single person who's seen it. Napoleon Dynamite jumped 4 spots despite a low screen count (and sucking, IMO) And sadly The Bourne Supremacy is out of the top 12. As of last week it had done just a hair under $165m.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Youth N Asia replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
I thought 4 started a little slow, then picked up great for the middle run...but once Jasmine showed up I got the "what the hell is this now?" feeling. But everything with The Beast is just some of the best Buffyverse stuff ever -
I downloaded it by accident trying to get 28 Days Later actually. I watched it cause I already had it and loved it. Thus buying the DVD

Best Buy has the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre for $6.99. It's the one in the black case that came out either last year or early this year, looks to have good extras. And I picked up Dog Soldiers at Circuit City for $6.99, very cool survival horror movie about a team of soldiers in the woods doing a training exercise...untill werewolves show up.

I'm rooting for Todd or Kathleen to win the whole thing. I don't think season 1 has anyone even in the overall top 3 or 4.

Slingshot Suplex has some sick hockey cards. I used to buy a lot of packs and collect and whatnot. I don't think I've bought a pack of cards in a couple of years now. It was fun for a while, but they've priced me out of it. The best cards I ever had Basketball: From a pack of SP Authentics I pulled a redemption card for a signed Penny Hardaway Jersey (worth like $500 at the time). Also got a Duncan rookie from the same pack. Hockey: I bought an old box (like 98-99) of some Pacific brand and for a $200 Heading for the Hall Gretzky...although last I looked Beckett didn't even list the set anymore. My favorite card was a completly mint OPC Yzerman rookie, I had cards worth more, but I liked that one the best. Baseball: I have sets up Topps 85-91 complete. My dad put them together and gave them to me years ago. And the 86, 87, and 89 include the traded sets. I bought packs but don't think I ever pulled any great baseball cards. Football: I had a friggin 76 Topps Payton rookie...and sold it a week before he died. It went from $160 to $225 in no time. Best card I ever pulled was a numbered to 50 Payton Manning card, worth a couple hundred.

I hate that BFS song...while I enjoy them live I'm not too into comedy/pop/punk

I'm convinced that from here on Ralphie's going to open his bits with "Oh yeah, my father's still dead you know." I know I'm being the asshole here, but he should have never made it through night 2, and he's pushing the sympathy button as hard as he can. And is there any suspense to the cuts? Why save them to the end when they couldn't be any more obvious? No way was Kathleen leaving before Corey. I'm hoping for Tammy to get cut next.

I would have gone with Jolie personally. Cameron's lips are small. I think this could have been funnier with less story.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

Gavin's cool, but he had no balls. Lindsey got stuff done...or at least tried. -
The whole preview for the movie is pretty much the one girl with the whole "I'm such a friggin tough chick" attitude. The first movie was balls, this one looks like a downloader. It just doesn't look good.

You really can't fault the guy, he's been the most consistant played on the team for over a year now

I watched most of the mall tour, but forgot to look for you (skimmed it cause it was a little boring). But the zombie guy re-enacting his escalator ride was funny as hell. What did that cost and how long was it?
-
Season 2 was great due to Ron Jeremy's one liners...and the rimshots they would add in after he did one. This cast just doesn't seem to blend at all...doesn't help when they put 2 crazy people in the house instead of just one.

Season 5, Dawn Season 3, no Dawn Thus Season 3 > Season 5

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Youth N Asia replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Would it kill them to be a little more creative with the DVD boxart? Season 1, Angel in the forground, Cordy in the background, vamp Angel pic in the corner. Season 2, Angel in the forground, Cordy in the background, vamp Angel pic in the corner. Season 3, Angel in the forground, Cordy in the background, vamp Angel pic in the corner. Season 4, Angel in the forground, Cordy in the background, vamp Angel pic in the corner. -
Does Bischoff add anything to the show?
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
I scary thing is now that I don't think they can run the show otherwise. Teddy Long is probably only a few weeks away from a pointless heel turn. -
$33.99 right now at Best Buy

Flavor and Brigitte are just too annoying for tv. I don't know if I'll tune in much this season.
