Backyard Wrestling getting new outlet
Youth N Asia replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
And if Supreme was any kind of legit "WRESTLER" there would be no way he would go along with this. He has no respect for the actual act of wrestling. -
Backyard Wrestling getting new outlet
Youth N Asia replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Now who's getting sued to high hell if one of these untrained shits breaks his neck trying to outdo the other guys? You don't see doctors hosting a backyard surgery event where people who don't know what they're doing cut up on patiants. But yet it's a good idea to put fake wrestlers in this situation. I hope this ends badly -

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200...s/24563778.html Trouble-prone football star Lawrence Phillips apparently hit rock bottom in Las Vegas. Phillips, an NFL bust after helping Nebraska to consecutive national titles in the mid-1990s, walked into a downtown Las Vegas pawnshop not long ago and sold one of his Big Eight championship rings for $20. "He said he was stuck in Las Vegas," said Steve Gibson, owner of Steve's Buy & Sell, 625 Las Vegas Blvd. South. "He said, `I need to get out of town.' " Gibson, who turned around and sold the ring on eBay for $1,700, said he tried to talk Phillips out of selling it. "I thought about giving him $20, but he would have just walked down the street and sold it." Phillips, the sixth player taken in the 1996 draft, by the St. Louis Rams, ran afoul of the law throughout his pro career. Phillips told Gibson he tried to hawk the ring "at every pawnshop from Tropicana to downtown," but nobody was interested because it was not gold. "His name was on the side of the ring, but I didn't believe it was him until I saw his driver's license," Gibson said. ---------------------------------- This sounds very pathtic

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Youth N Asia replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
I would rather have Giles show up for some ancient demon or something. Angel just runs out of options and calls him in. Plus by Angel season 3-4 Wes is a completly different character and the dynamic between the two would be not even close to what it was. -
I figured Ash could be having the Freddy dreams. He ventures along to Elm Street to get to the source. runs into and "Kills" Jason along the way, who's not dead but follows at a distance. And when he gets there they could have their showdown Freddy: "I've been waiting for you." Then Jason shows up Freddy: "Aw shit." Or something like that

I picked up Idle Hands for $5.50 at Target. Not a great movie, but definatly worth 5 bucks

Where You Want To Be by Taking Back Sunday. I think I'm growing to like this one better than their debut.

It's about survivors of a plane wreck winding up on a remote island and having to survive the unknown and whatnot. Some of the other cast (seeing what ones I recall from IMDB) Matthews Fox from Party of 5 and the very good but very quickly canceled Haunted on UPN. Daniel Dae Kim...played lawyer Gavin on Angel. And a random scientist in Spiderman 2. Harold Perrineau, AGUSTUS HILL FROM MOTHAF*CKIN OZ!...and the 2nd and 3rd Matrix movies. And he did an ep of Dead Like Me. I like this guy's work. Ian Somerhalder...played Adam last season on Smallville. And Paul in Rules of Attraction. Terry O'Quinn from one of my all time favorites...THE STEPFATHER Cast looks decient. While I'm really looking forward to this my faith in ABC is shaky with them killing off the excelent 10-8: Officers on Duty.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Youth N Asia replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Seasons 4 started out great for me and ended weak. The whole Jasmine thing just came out of nowhere and I was left with "we lost The Beast for this?" -
I like the idea. Being that all the shows I like get canceled right away...I have nothing to watch this fall. I'll give it a shot

I'm still debating on Firefly. I caught an episode when it aired and was bored with it. But if I can find it cheap enough I'll give it a shot. -
hmm...thought it was later then that. Well then don't read anything into AvsP getting a bigger office. It was PG13 afterall
-
Yeah, you can get all of those, plus the Simple Life season 1, Tigerland, Bedazzled, and tons of other crap at Walmart and Target for $5.50
-
And I'm pretty sure it came out durring a slow time for movies, had it made a summer debut or something it would have opened bigger

Youth N Asia replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Oh, yeah yeah. I ended up getting all of season 4 and 5 from buffy.nu a couple of days after they aired. But when my computer went screwy a buddy in Ohio sent me the last few I hadn't been able to download -
Anyone NOT switch over to DVD yet?
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I know my Best Buy has completly cleared out VHS movies, but the Target I work at still gets new releases, and they're just as much as the DVD versions now -

Yeah, I borrowed seasons 4 and 5 off of a buddy to watch after they aired. I was all caught up before season 6. -

I could go international and pick up DVDs, but I figure since I have them on tape and am in no dire need to see the episodes right away I can wait for the official release. -
Was he the one who tried to sue WCW? Saying he got fired cause he was black, and NOT because he was a completly awful worker? It was either him or Walker. Who's basic defense was that he was a great athlete who was great at everything he did, THUS he was a great wrestler.

I have all the eps taped (even the unaired pilot with fat Willow). And I have 1-6 on DVD. But I think I'm still a couple years away from a massive marathon. -
I watched the hell out of Kuffs years ago. I loved that movie, I'm due to see it again.

They made a 3? I didn't think that after the second one, which was more or less an awful remake of a less than great movie, that they'd keep it going.
