Chatrooms suck. You have 30 people or so. Only 8 are talking, and it's 3 different conversations. People keep jumping in and out of the room...so you get way too many ASLs. Plus too many people trying to cyber...badly

Sticking the titles and a pair of tits on The Bashams took their charisma from a 0 to about a 0. Repackage this team or split them up and ship one to RAW,

Very cool horror movie, very hard to find. About this kid who's afraid of clowns, and he ends up getting dragged to the circus by a friend and his brother...he gets freaked out. Then later 3 crazies escape from the looney bin, kill 3 clowns, dress up as them, and follow the kid home...I'll leave it at that

The Shield, season 3. Official Thread
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I think the season should pick up the same night. Like Six Feet Under did this year. And why was David checking up on the hoochies...seemed like a pointless few minutes. The best thing about The Shield is that there isn't one season better then the next. It's all equally great to me. -
The Vandals run Kung Fu records...they released an early Blink 182 and Atari records. You can find a lot of their stuff at major retailers. So they're doing something right.

Ben is just amazing to watch. He really restored my interest in this team. He appears to steal and block the ball with such easy. He can just come out of nowhere and dominate a play. 22 friggin rebound last night. He's always good for 8 points, and it's no uncommon for him to bust out 15-20.

Looks like another barely watchable Smackdown...If that

In case I didn't stress this enough...FUCK PHIL JACKSON!

The Shield, season 3. Official Thread

I taped it. Couldn't miss the Pistons kicking Phil Jackson's ass. Great finale. When seasons 1 and 2 came to an end you got endings, sure there was more opened up, but you got an ending. After the last episode you got a real "to be continued" feel to it. And after 3 great seasons it was the right time to do that. And I'm really digging this whole Claudette and Dutch vs Everyone. I really want to see them play that out next season. Strike team have to stick together, but it'll be a fun rocky start next year. Jullian and Dani didn't have hardly anything this season. Especially with the last few episodes. Jules is maturing into a better officer, and Dani is moving back up. Although they stopped dead with her deal with the little snitch guy that was hitting on her. -
Aretha did a shit job lip snyching. WHOO!! Every damn Piston seems to be coming up big tonight. And if they build up a big enough lead we'll get to see Darko.

Movies worth owning for just one part

I own Cruel Intentions just for the soul reason that Selma Blair is just jamming her tongue in Buffy's mouth. -
Yeah, and Eyes Wide Shut was shyte too

I loved the stuff with Dave and HAL. That alone made for a great movie...but the rest just seemed confusing for confusings sake. Fuckin' Kubrick. Also I could have done without a long shot of the little pods taking their sweet time loading up and slowly leaving the ship.

IWA Mid-South 6/19/04: A Butcher Loose in Highland

Just hope it won't be one of their infamous shows that run till early in the morning -
And "The Flying Car" is pretty cool. I tuned into Leno the night it aired for no real reason. When Clerks came out it was like $40 at Best Buy, and Mallrats was damn near $30.

And in case it hasn't been said yet... FUCK PHIL JACKSON!

I guess it depends on how you catagorize things...it just can't be "rock" anymore, they need sub-catagories and sub-sub catagories -
I'll get it...although the commentary track on the DVD out now is painfully boring.

Looks like me and Slingshot Suplex are road tripping to the show. Looks like a good card overall. And I know Abby isn't "good"...but I've always wanted to see him live. -
I picked the Pistons to win it all. I aint no bandwagon jumper...I'm a hometowner. I got so pissed at every expert saying "Lakers in 4, 5, 6..." I knew the Pistons would beat them down. Cause LA's defense isn't near as good as IND...so they were going to score more there. And the Pistons D was better than the Wolves...so I knew the Lakers wouldn't be breaking out 100 point games...those two things alone and people and people should have realized that the Pistons stood a better chance. ahem...FUCK DOC RIVERS! He was so on the Laker's sack the last game. "Great move by Shaq...Great time out by Jackson...Shaq is so fast...blah blah" If you just listened to his take on the game you'd have thought the Lakers won by 30.

Yeah, it's easy to rip a genre when you pick out the shitters. That was my point -
1 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban $35,070,000/$158,135,000 2 The Chronicles of Riddick $24,600,000/$24,600,000 3 Shrek 2 $24,000,000/$354,000,000 4 The Stepford Wives $22,200,000/$22,200,000 5 Garfield $21,675,000/$21,675,000 6 The Day After Tomorrow $14,550,000/$153,156,588 7 Raising Helen $3,821,000/$31,400,000 8 Troy $3,465,000/$125,652,000 9 Saved! $2,550,000/$3,732,000 10 Mean Girls $1,500,000/$81,318,000 11 Van Helsing $1,142,570/$116,938,110 12 Soul Plane $944,000/$13,020,000 ------------ Blah blah, you could guess the top few easily. But Saved did $2.5 million on only 589 screens. About 1,400 less than Troy, the movie that placed one spot higher. And last week it did $340,343 on just 31 screens.

Weekend Boxoffice Report June 11-13
Youth N Asia replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I thought Kidman's name alone would be enough to put The Stepford Wives above Riddick. Garfield just doesn't look good. I imagine that kids are the main audiance, but do they even know who Garfield is in 2004? -
Isn't that what he's supposed to be doing, though? Sparks can at least make me laugh every now and then. He didn't make the same tired joke over and over again.
