First review of the Chyna/X-Pac sex tape
Kizzo replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in General Wrestling
Has anyone actually seen this so called "video" -
The pricing is all wrong for the webcast...even with the extra features....the price should go above 30 bucks....I think 19.95 for the PPV with the vault extras is a good price...

I wouldnt' mind seeing Shane McMahon leading the creative team for atleast a year.....I mean Steph has had her chance...and the results are very negative.... Unless he is still upset about the run in 2001 when he was on the creative team....

My eyes are forever destroyed.... I agree with the one poster about the Kliq and the homosexual thing...because Chyna is definately a MAN...who has had some work done....this tape only confirms Triple H's bisexuality.. -
Vince McMahon is a very good editor/booker....and before 2001 he picked the right people for the job to lead the creative team or become a member of it..... And to add to this reply...Kreski wasn't just a "member" of the creative team...he actually was the head dog of that team.....2000 had all of his fingerprints on it......no one signs a 7 figure deal(if memory serves correct) just to sit on the creative team....Kreski was a former head writer on the Martin Short show, and also did writing for the Daily Show on Comedy Central....and did some writings with William Shatner....he isn't taken a backseat on the creative team with all of those credits....unless he's running it....of course all of his ideas had to go pass McMahon...and looking at 2000 looks like all of them did.... Of all the bookers and writers.....Kevin Nash had to be the worse.

I think Spike TV is in more homes than USA Network now....back in 2000 there was a concern about TNN not being available in as many home as USA Network....but MTV Networks made a commitment to offer TNN more homes....and if I'm not mistaken Spike TV has surpassed or close to being in more homes than USA Network.....Because Spike TV is part of the MTV Networks(which operates MTV..Comedy Central...CMT..Nickelodeon...and BET)....

Exactly..... I guess because the networks are still labeled with "Turner" they are assuming that Turner still has something to do with the two stations.....but he doesn't...AOL screwed him so he has no say...
-
AOL doesn't own Time Warner anymore....in fact its not even called AOL TIME WARNER anymore...its just Time Warner....and Ted Turner isn't part of Time Warner anymore...he resigned... And some of the management that was part of that merger(and the demise of wCw) are not there anymore......that's the reason TBS is being a consideration...

NBC Unviersal wants everything don't they?...Well they do have the money(General Electric).. Next year is going to be very interesting.....Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football are up for grabs....and WWE is looking for a new home...
-
I think WWE should get rid of the whole concept of Royal Rumble...just like they did with King of the Ring...
-
Nothing WWE does makes sense.... This is a flaw that has hurt them for many years...they are enemies one week...two months later they are buddies..what is the explanation for THAT....their writers don't pay attention to details...they need to start setting up "storyboards" so that everything can stay on track...
-
Since crash tv was a Russo concept...only he knows how to book it correctly(with help from McMahon of course), plus you need the right wrestlers...neither Stephanie McMahon or Brian Gerwitz can book crash tv.....they tried a few times and failed.. The only writer that I can think of who was sucessful with that formula besides Russo was Chris Kreski...but he had a little twist with it....and it wasn't the full version...in fact I like his style of booking in 2000 better than the one Russo had.....he had the skits...the promos...but Kreski actually booked in the long term...and everything was planned wayyyy in advance....plus all the skits and promos all had a PURPOSE.... If the current writers had to steal anything from the past writing teams....that one thing would be to make sure everything is logic and makes sense...do not insult the audience intelligence(especially the casual viewer)...

For sales statistic you will need a subscription to billboard.com...it will lists all the sales of the DVD's from years past and to this point...
-
Good question...I will do some research on that...
-
^^^ I agree. wCw had some great camera shots for backstage...
-
Actually The Kid...there are only a few hollywood writers left on the creative...two on RAW and one on Smackdown(well he was fired).....the rest are those who have been in wrestling biz for a while......The only year with an all Hollywood team was in 2000...

USA getting WWE is a strong possibilty...but look at this... The ABC/ESPN T.V. deal ends next season(including CBS and FOX)...Here is the deal....Monday Night Football is losing money....its not helping ABC and its not helping the NFL(ratings continute to go down as well)..some have reported that MNF could end up on ESPN, and SNF moves to NBC or something like that.....but what if NBC Universal wanted the whole NFL package... With that scenario we could have ABC/ESPN lose the NFL deal, and have MNF move to NBC...and SNF move to USA Network.....plus USA Network would have the WWE T.V. deal....talk about a channel make over... But who knows.....its going to be very interesting next year...

The reason I suspect WWE is doing this..... UPN is expanding HDTV programming.... "UPN will present its largest slate of HDTV programming in the history of the network for the 2004-2005 season, it was announced today by Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, UPN. Half of the network’s primetime line-up – a record seven series –will be broadcast in high definition television, beginning with the premieres of all three of UPN’s drama series “Veronica Mars,” “Kevin Hill” and “Star Trek: Enterprise,” and extending to UPN’s Monday night comedies “One on One,” “Half & Half,” “Girlfriends” and “Second Time Around” by November. This brings the Network’s weekly HDTV offerings to five hours. Last season, UPN presented two hours of series programming in HDTV, including “Star Trek: Enterprise,” as well as select Friday night movies." UPN in HDTV

I would think McMahon would be a Kerry supporter since they both are from the Northeast....which is a VERY strong Democratic area.....of course its the home of the most famous family "The Kennedys'"
-
I was thinking McMahon was a democrat....someone mention on the board...that the two men he admired the most were "JFK and Martin Luther King, Jr."
-
If he wants to continue this trend with 2 PPVs in a month...then there should be some prices changes....19.95 for each show...plus discounts for those who order both PPVs in a month..
-
I totally agree In an odd way...World Wildlife Fund actually did McMahon a favor and allowed him the continue to use the WWF intiials.....but Vince had to be an ASS...and break the agreement.....
-
It doesn't matter...if no one associates the WWF with Pandas...the point is...its their initials...
