That's how WWE got the casual viewer to watch there program...casual fans do not want to see an 1 hour long match on T.V....neither do they want to see a 30 minute match on T.V....that's what writers Vince Russo and Chris Kreski tried to estbalished when they were in charge of creative....they always had the casual fan in the back of their minds......that's why you had so many angles going on at once...lots of promos(that were interesting and had some point to them)...and SHORTER matches... Crash tv(1997-01)....was sucessful because it was so fast paced.....since 01 the current writers do not know how to script crash television correctly...

I'm thinking about getting this thing......what is the top quality..... 500kbps

Damn that's alot of extras...I've never ordered any of there webcasts..so do they show the entire match plus entrances or is it edited.... Looking at there promo for Summer Slam on the web.....it was at 512 Kbps.....so the quality was alright...

Pretty good numbers considering that they were jammed together......PPV's buys were above 200K...

Its good they are planning ahead...the only bad part about it.....IT SUCKS.

This was somewhat of a good transformation.....but it would never top his best transformation in 2000 when he debuted as the Biker Taker...that has to be the biggest make over I ever witnessed...

I'm surpised they are planning this far in advance..... I"m all for new people getting a hold to the title...but only when its there time to shine......Orton isn't quite ready yet...of course its no surprise here that the WWE is rushing this thing.....instead of letting it take its own course....

This whole thread has made me sick to my stomach.. SEX Tape with Xpac and Man Chyna....and a X Pac return all in one thread...OHHHHH the HORROR...

Look forward to seeing McMahon being heavily involved in storylines from now on...until negotiations with Viacom are over....on a side not..I don't expect the company to get 500 K from Viacom this time around...

Its never too late...someone that has some very good creative juices like Vince Russo or a Chris Kreski can probaly make it happen...although it would take some work...

I"m still impress by the NFL's latest concept which is the NFL Network...I never thought a 24/7 football channel could suceed with football season lasting through September to January...but it did.... While watching the NFL Network and all the shows that the network airs......I was thinking to myself...this is what the WWE's newest channel should be like..... WWE 24/7 channel should have shows like....the NFLs "Total Access" that goes behind the scenes...and has all of the latest news going around the RAW and Smackdown brands....new talent that could be appearing in WWE soon....and interviews with the stars...... Another show idea on the NFL Network is "Game of the Week in HI DEFINITION"....is a concept that WWE 24/7 should pick up.....but could be named..... Match of the Week in HI DEF...with some famous wrestler giving commentary......would love to see a great match that aired on RAW or Smackdown viewed in HI DEF glory.... And my favorite show on NFL Network is "NFL Replay" that shows games that aired on FOX and CBS in the past....not highlights but the actual show.....wouldn't mind seeing WWE Replay Nitro..RAW...Saturday Night's Main Event...or any of the shows in the past...in there full broadcast.... WWE has so many options that can make this channel very sucessful......and with some creative ideas....making it more than a show that airs repeats of the past....

When Russo came back to WWE as the creative director...then hours later demoted to just a writer...then a consultant.....and finally quiting after just one day......he suggested a few things that he wanted to do.....he was going to redo the Invasion and book like it was suppose to be booked... On a side note...he was the one that suggested Bischoff be hired....and in a strange way....Bischoff was hired after Russo left

Here is the deal...Directv is the only satellite provider that carries the NFL Network...when the channel first launch....Directv was the only company that carried at that time....until NFL made some deals with selected cable companies to air the network..... On Directv...it comes free to all subcribers....with cable its part of a pacakge.....

I totally agree...... With the loss of Directv....which meant a loss of viewership...they put on a card like this..

Of course there was some good looking blacks or minorities that could have been chosen for the show.....but the WWE had to do the opposite..

NFL Network is only on Directv @ no extra charge......channel 212 At first the NFL Network was only on Directv...but has expanded to other outlets....

I agree...WWE Replay or whatever they may call it...should have a showcase past shows...uncut...no editing(besides the original editing)....and etc....Full Nitro...Full Thunder and so on..

Very good point.... I didnt' think about this at first...but you are right. No one actually explained why there was a split between the company......I think this idea confused the casual viewer....and they got turned off by it.....the casual viewers see The Rock on RAW...but why isn't he not on Smackdown...why the change....???? I don't like authority figures...but Bischoff is the only guy that is natural with it......and believe it or not...I think his personality has become attached to RAW.....and RAW wouldn't be RAW without seeing Eric...for the time being if he does leave...

Randy Orton was playing a heel.... I think Maven would make a perfect fit...in a Randy Orton lead Evolution....Maven's race should not even matter...

Eric Bischoff is the best GM......even with bad material...he still does a good job.....I have feeling that Uncle Eric will not be in WWE for very long.....and with rumors of a Ted Turner return....I see Eric once again running a wrestling promotion...

If the rumors come out to be true....Ted Turner may start a new promotion....I prefer him to buy TNA though.......but anywayz....could WWE see new competition soon..??? Ted Turner RETURN We all know that wCw was stolen from Ted Turner....when AOL merged with Time Warner....(in which AOL is no more now...renamed back to Time Warner)....the company sold wCw behind Ted Turner's back.....Turner was planning on leaving anyway...but the wCw sell was the final nail.. Ted Turner vs. Vince McMahon ROUND 2.... Thoughts...

Of course he's changing....he's part of the damn management now...

I know there are no free agents....that's why I'm suggesting he just buys TNA...if Panda Energy is interested...
