    Did I mention the homeruns? Well don't worry the game won't keep track of half of them. This thing is buggy as all hell when it comes to stat tracking. And it doesn't even try for in-game stat tracking. For example, when I'm at the plate in Turner Field I can see the turner tron and it shows the batters season stats. Except it's the season to-date not including the current game. So after I hit THREE homeruns in Casey Kotchman's first three at-bats of a game, on his fourth at bat it still says on the big screen that he has zero. Say it with me, SLOPPY CODING.

     

    Let me share a story about 2K6 for PlayStation 2: I was probably up to about August in the franchise, and A-Rod had around 40 homers or so. All of a sudden, one game, his home run totals become a negative number. So now he had -40 HR and each one he hit after that brought the count closer to zero. Kind of like the doomsday clock that they put on Marvin's post count. It was absurd.

    These ones tend to kill me because I'll know some of the answers, but don't know the spelling of their names. Like "Olajuwon" and however the hell you spell out Coach K's full name, for example.

    I didn't understand why for about the first year I was watching wrestling The Rock was booed heavily and a near-top level heel, to one day all of a sudden being one of the emerging top faces and cheered everywhere. He didn't change his personality at all, and I refused to root for him. I think that was when I stopped going along with the face/heel stuff and just liking who I wanted to.

    I assume you mean the Jets there, since in no way are the Giants a "usual suspect" for big name/big $ free agents, especially a head case like Owens. Despite their clear need for a number one wideout, I have a difficult time seeing them going the route of replacing one shitstorm of a WR with another.

    No, I meant the Giants. A perennial Super Bowl contender with a good QB/coach and a need for a #1 receiver? They'll definitely be a rumored suitor, but like I said in my original post, I don't see the fit there. They'd be an extreme long shot at this point.

     

    Their name will definitely be thrown out there and speculated about, I certainly agree with you there. But TO isn't the type of guy the Giants would go after, whether the need is there or not. Additionally, they have the Plaxico issue - they aren't about to replace one headache with another.

     

    I think the plan is the draft right now. I haven't heard Harrison's name at all but I think he could fit well as a possession/go-to guy for Eli the way Toomer was.

    Agent hit it on the head when he said TO will require three things: money, a chance at a ring and a good QB/coach. Who fits those qualifications? I can see San Diego, Denver, and New Orleans being options. I guess there's an outside chance of him landing in Chicago or Minnesota, but they don't have the quarterback play to entice him.

     

    Any others I'm missing? I don't see the usual suspects getting involved (Indy, NY, NE or Philly). NY Jets could be a fit. Miami would be up there, but I don't think Parcells would want him. Would Washington take a look?

    Still no word from the Yankees about it...and the source seems to be a quote from his half brother (in a Spanish article) who Alex isn't that close with to begin with.
