Favorite gaming memory I can ever remember is the first night that WCW vs NWO World Tour came out for N64. My buddy was the only one of us with a system and he had rented the game and a few controllers so we had 4 players on the go pretty much the entire night, but the memory specifically was a match where it was me against him I was Ultimo Dragon and he was DDP and it was a battle, actually it was more or less a squash for me where I beat him pillar to post for like 15 minutes with him getting barely any offence and kicking out of every attempt that I made at a pin, and then reversing one move and making me tap to a chinlock. I was so disgusted. He prolly landed 2 moves the whole match and then I tapped nearly right away to a fuckin chinlock. I still hold a grudge.

Unifying the belts don't necessarily mean that they are going to eliminate one belt, boxing titles are unified all the time and it just means that the same person is holding both titles for the time being.

I thought that looked pretty good.....

Does anyone here have the Shamrock vs. Frye fight or know where to DL it? If you have it is it possible you could upload it to Megaupload or something?
-
I heard it was alright, and I think I just read in another post on here that Shamrock broke both of Frye's ankles. I was just curious as to how it played out.

I'm not sure if this has been posted here in the past or not, but I've seen MANY michaels matches where he'd mouth off to his opponents after he had won. One example of this is when he beat Nash at Good Friends, Better Enemies in the Mad Dog Vachon Leg match. So even if Micheals did say it, it's possible that it was something that his character did all the time that Bret just took to heart.

Who do do you blame for wrestlers' deaths?
Frosty replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in General Wrestling
I don't think Vince is to blame at all or not as much . Sure he is the employer and in Owen's case the equipment should have been up to par, but as far as the drugs and painkillers and stuff, blaming vince for that shit is complete bullshit. That would be like blaming a model's manager for the model being a cokehead, or blaming a rockstar for drinking too much. If the person can't handle the pain, pressure, life on the road then that is their own fault.... they are always more then welcome to step out of the business and go get a real job. It's not like they aren't given that choice, nobody is holding a gun to their head saying that they have to be a wrestler. People need to stop looking for scapegoats and start accepting the blame from some of their own fuck ups and their own lives (With Owen it's a different story) but most of them could have avoided the problems if they had to know when to get out or when their limit is. -
I have a black Ibanez RG Electric now, and I'm thinking about buying a cheap Washburn House of Blues Acoustic for shits and giggles just to mess around with without spending much.

A lot of these things could be said about TNA and ROH. I know I'll get blasted by a lot of the people here by comparing the three, but it's true. Same small venues, wrestlers that worked their ass off and no mention of politics (save JJ). Just great wrestling. That's it. None of the crap that goes along with it in WWE. You can say it about ROH and TNA, except that ECW was doing it 10 years ago.

I actually have the 3ccd camera that was around the $900 mark and the quality is actually very good in the light. But it is terrible in the dark.

Title is pretty self explanitory, I was wondering what are some good free programs for extracting video clips from DVDs?
-
Ok, I've read your tutorial and they seem to have extremely large file sizes. I'm only doing this for a small webpage project I am doing in school so I don't need, nor do I have the space to be using massive clips. I'd like something that was a respectable quality but not not massive to upload. Also thanks to everyone who replied.

Abyss bladed his arms in the barbed wire match against Sabu earlier this year. It was blatant that it was a blade job for the sole purpose that every cut managed to happen AROUND his tattoos in order not to fuck up his artwork.

But Bret wasn't asked to Job in Alberta. Bret wouldn't job in his own COUNTRY not in his province. Either way it would have been wrong, but that's an unfair comparison. Shawn refusing in the US would be the fair comparison and that would be completely obsurd as well.

That was fucking gold KKK.

Hogan didnt got back to the wwe in late 03. infact he wasnt seen on wwe tv from june 03-the hall of fame ceremony and wm 21. Didnt he get his hip replacement after that? Ok, My mistake... he never went to the WWE, he just went on the "inactive list" directly after setting up a mojor angle... either way.. that was still the best time TNA had since their inception.
-
The best time for TNA was between when Raven entered and when Hogan and Jarrett did the angle. Once Jarrett and Hogan did the Japan guitar angle and hogan bitched out on TNA for the WWE the show started to go downhill.

Yeah, Cause Savage wasn't one of the best workers in the WWE in the 80's...[/sarcasm]

He's put many wrestlers through rehad and he's fired wrestlers for drug use. If that isn't doing anything, then nothing is. Sure he might not be out to "Obilish all drug use in pro wrestling", but he is no more at fault then any other promoter in the word. Just because he is the biggest game in town, don't mean he is the only game in town, as there was WCW at one time, ECW as well, and now there are more indpendant federations acroos the world then there ever was before. Many people are working as wrestlers across the globe and specifically North America without having to get second and third jobs.

I think that Vince was perfectly in the right for getting pissed off. Just think about how many people in other business, say Wallstreet for example are into drugs and the like and none of the owners of those companies are held or even suggested as being responsible. As Vince said, there are plenty of wrestlers that were into personal shit before the WWE. Chris Candido is one example and Eddie Guerrero is another. Both of them were heavy into drugs and other shit before they got into the WWE, so is blaming Vince for the problems that they had before the WWE logical just because they worked for him and he never went out of his way to fix those problems? Look at Louis Spicolli (sp?) He was definatly into it in the WWE and undoubtably before and after the WWE, same with Brian Pillman, He was well into painkillers and stuff before he entered the WWE. Now while it is certainly unfortunate that they did die, it is far from Vince's responsibility that they couldn't kick their problems. No more is it their parents fault, or their spouses fault, or even their co-workers fault.

Well at least he got rid of that TERRIBLE Irish Pat Kenny name.
