    The HBK Collapse on Raw

    The Old School questions thread

Sherri told Brother Love that she'd fallen in love with HBK and DiBiase agreed to terminate her contract so she could pursue him. Just to correct that it was Paul Bearer she told on the Funeral Parlor, Love was way gone by that point, and was probably backstage thinking of ridiculous angles involving Papa Shango, the Ultimate Warrior and voodoo

The 6/28 edition of WWE RAW drew a 3.7 cable rating with a 5.9 share. The first hour scored a 3.4 while the second hour scored a 3.9. This rating is a big drop from last week's strong 4.2 rating. The 6/26 edition of WWE Velocity drew a 0.5 cable rating with a 1.1 share. The 6/27 edition of the WWE Experience drew a 0.6 cable rating with a 1.9 share. The 6/27 edition of WWE Sunday Night Heat, prior to the Great American Bash on PPV, drew a 0.7 cable rating with a 1.3 share.

they did promos for about a month, I think most of them were with other random Superstars saying what they thought and expected of Sid when he arrived
  7. if you want to see some pictures, I have added the ones I have onto this website of mine: http://uk.geocities.com/wrestlinginfo2003

    The Old School questions thread

do you mean their heel turn in 1999? I think that was when they got back together as I remember Jim Ross saying at Armageddon 99 "the Headbangers back together after surviving a knee injury from Thrasher and a horrendous gimmick for Mosh" The horrendous gimmick I believe was Beaver Cleavage or something? He also wrestled as Chaz at one point I beleive and they did an angle where he was apaprently beating on his girlfriend (or wife?) Marianna Mosh then went back to playing chaz and teamed with D-Lo Brown into 2001

I could be wrong but I don’t think so. I understood that Big Josh is actually Matt Borne (who later went onto be the heel Doink the Clown)
  11. yeah they are from the old WWF Title History website. I saved quite a lot of these actually if you want them? PM or email me (just not my Yahoo! one)

    Tiger Mask V Dynamite Kid

strangely, a few of these matches were shown last night here in the UK on our Wrestling Channel on a special Dynamite Kid show. I have yet to watch the full show yet but I know one of the matches was their match from MSG from 8/30/82 which has been mentioned. I think another was from 1/1/82 in Japan and there may have been another one I can't quite remember

PPVs to be PPV in UK from 2005

I think we have been very lucky for several years getting these PPVs for free, in the U.S, Canada, Australia, Germany and other countries they have to pay a whole lot to watch these PPVs, so I don't see why people are complaining as we all knew this was going to happen eventually anyway Personally, I don't really mind because normally when the PPVs are on I watch them once and that's it, and have never watched them again since, and so nwo I can just order the PPVs I want to see which sound decent.

This Day in WWE History Thread

I'm not sure if that Spectrum card is correct as I have four of these matches, which are: The Roma/Powers vs Shadows match (in 2 formats) The Haynes/Orndorff match The Steamboat/Kamala match The Hogan/Patera tag match For those first two bouts mentioned Gorilla Monsoon & Dick Graham are commentating but for the other two Craig DeGeorge and Dick Graham are commentating. Is it possible they changed commentators mid-way through the show or do you think the card you have could be wrong? I may have to check my tapes back as you can normally tell by looking at the front row if they are the same show or not

    Brian Pillman

wasn't Pillman commentating on Shotgun Saturday Night for most of 97? And when was this thing with Bobby Heenan? Was it at one of the Clash of Champions?

    The Old School questions thread

I think it was a case of him getting cheered all the time, I have heard the fans were chanting for him more when he wreslted Hogan at house shows and even on the unaired Snake Pit where he gave Hogan the DDT. That particular Snake Pit episode just simply confirmed him as a face I would say, even though that was his first appearance on TV for weeks due to the Hogan/Andre Piper's Pits airing on Challenge as well as Superstars, in place of the Snake Pit

    The Old School questions thread

I found this interesting on some episodes of Superstars I have just gotten from August 87. Savage is wrestling one week as the normal heel he had been basically for the last 2 years. Then the week after he wrestles long tiem heel jobber Steve Lombardi (basically indicating a face turn) and plus Jesse Ventura on commentary says Savage has gone "soft" as he, IIRC let Elizabeth lead him to the ring and plus Bruno and Vince had no negative comments about Savage either Another reason was because Honky would say in all his interviews that Elizabeth was really interested in him, and not Savage Also did Honky actually slap Elizabeth? I don't remember him doing that, just pushing her to the mat
