  2. Listings for the Allied Powers - Worlds Greatest Tag Teams DVD from Silvervision:

Throughout the years, fans of sports entertainment have enjoyed the controlled chaos of tag-team wrestling. Many present and future Hall of Fame Superstars have been part of a popular duo, including Shawn Michaels (The Rockers), Bret “Hit Man” Hart (The Hart Foundation) and Jeff and Matt Hardy (The Hardy Boys). Some Superstars will forever be remembered for their incredible impact as a team, including The Road Warriors, The Fabulous Freebirds and The Midnight Express. Some teams were a result of the unique, temporary pairing of two singles Superstars, including The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan and Randy “Macho Man” Savage), and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels).

Allied Powers: The World’s Greatest Tag Teams honours all the greatest duos in sports entertainment history, complete with matches from WWE, WCW, NWA, AWA, WCCW and Championship Wrestling from Florida. Packed with profiles of more than 20 historical tag teams and events and 25 tag-team matches, Allied Powers: The World’s Greatest Tag Teams gives fans twice the excitement, twice the action and twice the drama.

  3. Guess what, they updated early again (but MillenniumMan you have to help me work out the Superstars link! My guess is they would air December 8, 1990 as the first show as that's the first one without the "Superstars Of Wrestling" banners in the arena and if I've worked out correctly then that would be episode 223)

There could easily be more videos but I've just not worked out anymore links:

    ECW Legacy - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/042009/drm-0413_ecwleg_750.wmv

The first match will make a lot of people happy as I'm 99% sure it's not aired anywhere before and not even back when it took place:

Harley Race vs. Bob Backlund (NWA Champion vs. WWF Champion) (MSG 9-22-80) (no commentary):

  4. How nice of them to upload next weeks videos almost a full week early! (I'm guessing this is everything anyway)

Jeff Jarrett vs. Bob Holly (Title match) (in progress) (Action Zone 4/30/95)

Jeff Jarrett vs. Bob Holy (Rematch (Action Zone 5/7/95) (appears to be some slight problems with their tape of the match)

Hall Of Fame Month matches (I think these are all the correct dates):

Hulk Hogan vs. Gilbert Guerrero Wrestling at the Chase 1/21/84 and NY local interview with Mean Gene before the match - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/042009/drm-0406_hogan_750.wmv

Chief Jay Strongbow vs. Greg Valentine - Philadelphia Spectrum 7/21/79 - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/042009/drm-0...rongbow_750.wmv (they put the picture in black and white whenever a closeup of Valentine's face is shown after he gets busted open, which sucks)

  5. Next weeks Raws and Challenges are up:

    Raw 8/22/94 - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0330_raw76_750.wmv (a show I wasn't totally sure existed)

    Challenge 7/12/87 - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0...lenge45_750.wmv

  6. Again they've been nice enough to put some of next weeks videos up early:

  8. Sounds like a pretty good lineup to me:

APRIL 2009: LARGE AND IN CHARGE

All April, WWE Classics on Demand is “Large and In Charge” as incredible giants and super-sized Superstars wreak havoc throughout unforgettable events and matches.

    Legends

Hall of Fame: Gorilla Monsoon – One of WWE’s most important figures, Gorilla Monsoon was an influential force for nearly four decades. Relive Monsoon’s career... a dominant Superstar during the ‘60s and ‘70s, a beloved commentator during the ‘80s and ‘90s and a behind-the-scenes authority throughout the Attitude era. Hosted by Gene Okerlund, this retrospective includes legendary encounters against Andre the Giant and Muhammad Ali, hilarious moments with announcing partner Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Gorilla’s 1994 induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Film Room with Gordon Solie: Giants – The Film Room is back with brand-new episodes featuring historic, rarely-seen footage captured during the 1960s and ‘70s. Hall of Fame announcer Gordon Solie provides the call of the action, highlighting the impressive array of giants who competed throughout the NWA’s Florida territory, including Andre the Giant, Haystacks Calhoun and “Big Cat” Ernie Ladd.

    The Big Ones

WCW SuperBrawl V – WCW World Champions collide when Hulk Hogan defends the gold against former world title-holder, the dominating super-heavyweight Vader. Plus, Sting joins forces with “Macho Man” Randy Savage to battle the massive team of Big Bubba and Avalanche. Harlem Heat defends the WCW World Tag Team title vs. the Nasty Boys and much more.

Old School – WWE Classics super-sizes the Old School action with four (4) huge cards highlighting some of WWE’s most dominant big men. From 1978 at Madison Square Garden, WWE Champion Bob Backlund defends his championship against future WWE Hall of Famer “Big Cat” Ernie Ladd. In August 1985 from Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens, “8th Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant battles Big John Studd. Then, just a month later at MSG, Andre is out for revenge in the “Colossal Jostle”, facing Studd’s partner-in-crime, King Kong Bundy. Finally, WWE’s back in NYC in 1990 as the immortal Hulk Hogan takes on the massive Earthquake. Four enormous cards headlined by massive superstars, plus other great matchups like Bruno Sammartino vs. Superstar Billy Graham, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat vs. Magnificent Muraco, the Hart Foundation vs. the British Bulldogs, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase vs. Big Boss Man and more.

    TV Classics

The Monday Night War – Starting in April, there are now two great ways to relive the battle between WWE and WCW for sports entertainment supremacy. Continue along as the action heats up in December 1997. The Undertaker battles the Rock on a Holiday edition of Raw, while on Nitro, Hollywood Hogan and Sting play mind games heading towards their epic Starrcade encounter. Plus, you can now relive the fight from the very start with Monday Night War: The Beginning. Head back to when the first shots were fired in September 1995. Hulk Hogan defends the WCW Championship against Lex Luger on Nitro while Shawn Michaels and Sycho Sid square off for the WWE Intercontinental title on Raw.

    Shorties

Get “Large and In Charge” as the Punjabi Playboy, The Great Khali and spokesman Ranjin Singh present matches featuring the biggest men to ever step into a ring. Enormous Superstars in action include Andre the Giant, Kevin Nash, Bruiser Brody, Yokozuna, Kamala, the Big Show, Earthquake, One Man Gang and many more.

  9. I guess my question is why the hell did WCW run a free show from the Clash arena with a Hogan main event BEFORE their free Clash show on the same network? This seems a bit stupid.

If I recall from an old Observer, it was something to do with Hogan's contract, if he had wrestled on the Clash show they would have had to pay him a lot more money (same reason he didn't wrestle on some PPVs that year also)

  10. I guess they don't realise how easy it is to work out the links but they have the first 7 WrestleMania matches up already that they are featuring (links past WM8 wouldn't work) and they are all predictable winners:

    Hogan/Mr. T vs. Piper/Orndorff - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0303_wm1_750.wmv

    Hogan vs. Bundy - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0304_wm2_750.wmv

    Savage vs. Steamboat - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0305_wm3_750.wmv

    Savage vs. DiBiase - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0306_wm4_750.wmv

    Savage vs. Hogan - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0309_wm5_750.wmv

    Hogan vs. Warrior - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0310_wm6_750.wmv

    Savage vs. Warrior - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0311_wm7_750.wmv

  11. Here's another one they've added early:

Undertaker vs Yokozuna from Milan, Italy 4-25-93 (Global Warfare Coliseum Video)

    http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/022009/drm-0223_taker_750.wmv

Just a guess on my part, it's pretty much the same link except for one word (name of the wrestler for example - "taker" "hhh" "race" etc)

Ok that makes sense. The Mil Mascaras match is a stretch though!

They said on the WWE Universe forums that they would be uploading a Mil Mascaras match, so that's how MillenniumMan guessed that one. They said they would be uploading Bret vs. Austin from South Africa and a JYD vs. Funk match as well but no luck finding those matches yet

  12. MARCH 2009: LEGENDS OF WRESTLEMANIA

In anticipation of the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, WWE 24/7 Classics celebrates the events, matches and superstars who have made WrestleMania the greatest spectacle in entertainment.

    Legends

Hall of Fame: Hulk Hogan – The first WrestleMania was launched on the wave of excitement created by ”Hulkamania”. Celebrate the immortal Hulk Hogan’s spectacular career, from early days battling in the AWA, to becoming a world-wide icon in the WWE and the groundbreaking launch of the nWo in WCW. Hosted by fellow Hall of Famer Gene Okerlund, this career retrospective features legendary rivalries vs. Andre the Giant, the Iron Sheik, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair and The Rock. Plus, see The Hulkster’s emotional 2005 WWE Hall of Fame Induction.

Legends of Wrestling – History of Texas Wrestling – The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania comes to Houston, TX on Sunday, April 5th. But the Lone Star State has long been home to spectacular events and many of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Dusty Rhodes, Jim Ross, Cowboy Bill Watts and Michaels Hayes join host Gene Okerlund for a no-holds-barred, roundtable discussion of the top superstars and memorable shows in the history of Texas wrestling. The panelists tell stories and share their experiences with legendary performers like the Funk Brothers, Dick Murdoch, the Von Erich family, Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

    The Big Ones

WrestleMania – Relive WrestleMania history with (2) classic events. Head back to Madison Square Garden in 1985 for the historic first WrestleMania. Hulk Hogan teams with Mr. T to battle Rowdy Roddy Piper and “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff in the star-studded main event. Plus, “8th Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant looks to bodyslam fellow future Hall of Famer Big John Studd in their colossal battle. Then, relive WrestleMania’s first trip to Texas. At WrestleMania X-Seven, The Rock defends the WWE Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Undertaker faces Triple H, Mr. McMahon battles son Shane McMahon in a Street Fight, a spectacular TLC WWE Tag Team Title Match and much more.

    TV Classics

Countdown to WrestleMania – Get ready for historic WrestleMania events with the shows that set the stage. Before the 1st WrestleMania, All American Wrestling previews the groundbreaking show. Hulk Hogan and Mr. T train for their main event showdown, while Rowdy Roddy Piper welcomes cohorts Paul Orndorff and Cowboy Bob Orton into “Piper’s Pit”. Then, just days before WrestleMania X-Seven, tensions are running high on SmackDown! Stone Cold Steve Austin faces off with the Rock, while the Undertaker confronts Triple H. Plus, Chris Jericho teams with Kane to battle the Big Show and Commissioner William Regal.

Nice to see they are showing an episode of WWF All American Wrestling

  13. Looks like they have dropped adding a schedule for the full month as well but if I've understood their preview correctly it looks like they will be airing this full show from South Africa (or if not the full show they are definitely airing Bret vs. Austin)

WWF @ Sun City, South Africa - September 14, 1996

Televised on SuperSport - featured Jim Ross & Owen Hart on commentary:

Marc Mero vs. Davey Boy Smith

    Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin
