Rey got a decent pop....
-
I guess not...
-
DO we get a new set?
-
It wasn't too bad either. Kinda heavy on the Wah pedal....but still pretty good.
-
Lars can give a good effort when he wants too...lol

They are playing the entire MOP album in it's entirety...on Leper Messiah now... http://www.rockpalast.de/livestream/

Pic from my seats. I was first row from the floor. I'll try to get some more up tomorrow. Took them with my cell phone so not sure how they came out. This was when the doors first opened, before Heat etc....
-
Angle got the biggest pop of the night, although I'm not sure if everything was shown on TV. We tried numerous times to get a full fledged ECW chant going, but there were alot of kids/girls in the audience who didn't even know what ECW was. Cena got a decent pop, tried to drown it out with boos, but not sure how that worked out. HHH got a pretty good pop when he first came out, and then again at the end when he pedigreed Vince and the crotchchop afterwards on the rampway, although once again not sure what was shown on TV. Orton got some heat for giving Angle the RKO, but nothing great. It was just an all around "blah" show...I don't really know what else to say. Oh and Harry Smith did wrestle on Heat.

Just got back from Raw... What a terrible terrible show. The ECW stuff is being booked ass backwards. Vince/HHH in the main event is boring... Cena sucks...blah blah blah. I'm just so sick of the same crap over and over every single week. The most entertaining thing all night was seeing Lillian get knocked off the apron.

I wouldn't doubt that. It would be a smart move, Kurt is guranteed to get cheered.
-
I know when Raw was here last year, right before Summerslam, and Angle was a full fledged heel pretty much he got cheered here bigtime against Eugene. Now I know Pittsburgh is Kurt's hometown, but Eugene got booed out of the building. I have faith in my fellow Pittsburgh fans to boo Cena tonight, I will be in attendance tonight as well.

Honestly, it's just build up to the ppv. Really, I think they're using this as a crowd litmus test. Cena hasn't been booed terribly lately, and the marks were booing RVD two week ago. Maybe this'll help them determine the finish to the match. Who knows? I full expect the crowd to be behind RVD and boo Cena tonight w/ Raw being in Pittsburgh.

Soundgarden was making great music around the same time Nirvana hit it big, but never had anywhere near Nirvana's popularity or exposure. The lyrics and sound of the early 90s grunge bands was a totally reversal of what had been popular before that point. Nirvana wasn't just some hard rock act that got popular because the lead singer killed himself. They were part of something bigger...a change in the music industry away from Michael Jackson and ballad-centric "hair metal" of the late 80s. You kids who didn't start paying attention to music until Limp Bizkit, Britney Spears, and Eminem made it big are simply too young to know what you're talking about. If, in the year 1992, you were listening to "Barney and Friends" instead of MTV (yes, they played music once), you are horribly unqualified to have an opinion on Nirvana. Yeah there were a big part of ushering in about 10 years of absolutley shitty music. Nirvana wasn't talented nor were they groundbreaking, they were just at the right place at the right time. Kobain was a terrible guitarist and his lyrics were laughable.

Dammit I wanted to make the OAO Raw thread today since I was going to the show... Got up to late....
-
Nirvana ushered in a shitty generation of music.

Azureus is the best torrent client around.

Someone needs to look the word "important" up in the dictionary. Hulk Hogan is more important than the Ring of Honor roster put together, despite whatever wrestling skills they have. I don't really care. They have done nothing for the music industry. Actually they did, they ushered in a terrible nu-metal scene that set metal back for years. They aren't important, no matter how many angry 15 year olds say they are.

Do you have the video? Link?

That is the post-show dark match, doesn't really have any effect on the actual show. The same match has been promoted for the local RAW that is the night after One Night Stand. I see. Well hopefully we get a decent show. I'll be pretty close to ringside.
-
Not sure if this is official or not, but the local ads here that are running for the Raw in Pittsburgh this week have Edge vs Cena in the mainevent in a Streetfight....

Don't even get me started on Bose....lol The anti-christ of home theater systems. The biggest ripoff, IMO, I have ever seen for the quality of electronice they produce.
