the whole phrase was taken out of context on the show lesnar said "if I could go back I would have done things diferently and tried to play right out of college, but I was tired of being broke I had to eat" I watched the piece and he never said anything remotely bad about the wrestling business its obvious that the site that reported this probably didnt even watch it. Also Lesnar looks to be sincere about his efforts to play football and Tony Dungy a great coach stated that he believed that Lesnar has a lot of promise and upside I say let him take his chance and if he doesnt make it we all know he will be back and more than likely he will be back by Wrestlemania of next year then at least he will have a clear mind since he gave his dream a chance

I just saw my home team rangers and kenny rogers pitch a complete game win against the astros so.....beltran who!!!!

Jeff had a lot of balls extorting that money out of Vince but hey its Vince's fault that the strap was still on Jarrett when his contract was up, Jeff handled it professionally for the most part he went out and worked the match with Chyna which by no means was a 5 star match but he jobbed the title, but im guessing he's not on the best terms with Vince now

Flair is one of the bst and from the review it looks like like a great read hopefully on par with Foley's books and at the worse Positively Page lol
-
It says is more than likely a "one shot" deal so I guess we might as well see of the match is good I guess I will shell out the 10 bucks because the shows have been improving since the deal with fox

When Benoit went to Bischoffs office the crowd just fell dead he has as much charisma as a two day old bar towel
-

Jake will go down as one of the better characters in wrestling history but the way he continually abuses drugs its hard to have any compassion for the guy the sad part is that he will continue to be booked off name recognition and never get any help

He didn't sell his soul... Do you fickle fans not realize what the rock is doing is a great thing for Wrestling? He is wiping away the stereotype that Wrestlers are just big muscleheads grunting...because of him, other workers are getting work in movies, where with that money and joining those unions they are able to support their families and still do what they love. The Rock didn't sell his soul by making movies...It's not any different from TV Actors moving onto the Big Screen...Is Tom Hanks a Sell out because he stopped making Bosom Buddies and made Great movies instead. The Rock and everyone else, are actors. Hollywood was just a natural progression for him. He comes back and puts EVERYONE over as much as he can from Hurricane, Brock, Eugene and gets others over as big heels like Coach....That's respect and honor that many in this shady business doesn't have anymore. a decent point but...Rock is a sellout
-
"The Rock" is a "ACTOR" now I dont think anyone should put him over he shows up three times a year for payoffs thats all he is worth there will never be a PPV that Rock headlines that will sell his schtick is done I cant pop for him because he sold his soul for hollywood money
-
this hiatus could give shelton a gimick "retooling" and perhaps a fresh start...I never like to see young talent injured but I consider this a good thing
-
bradshaw is such a bad character that even this type if heat cant get him over I dont see him in WWE much longer
-
what a waste of time The Rock shows up twice or three times a year in exchange for un-ending promotion of his shitty movies he needs to come back full time or stay away for good
-
Im 24 and I have never had as good a wrestling debate anywhere but here thanks for the enviroment and unbiased opininions

"Warrior" only referred to himself in the third person once correct me if I am wrong. actually a great read im guessing that goldberg went to the school of warrior and used the business for all he could get out and then curse the people that made them famous
-
Ive enjoyed him since he was giving the injury reports on his shoulder he is at least average in the ring and he is cocky kind of like another superstar who broke out in late '98 his push may be a bit much but I think the IC belt has regained a some prestige with his run I am actually looking forward to this young crop of talent that is being fucked by the brand extension Wrestlemania 21 Cena vs Orton? maybe.

I like the fact that Flair is still wrestling for the "nostalgia" factor that it brings, I am a tad biased since the first ppv I ever saw was Royal Rumble 92' where he won the vacated world title I still enjoy seeing Flair on camera and involved with angles but I do agree with the majority here and do believe that his in-ring career needs to end as soon as they find a suitable way to give him the farewell he deserves

My favorite moment was definently at Heat Wave 99' when the Dudley's were on the mic insulting the crowd he called a guy in the first row "a faggot with a hawaiin shirt" and saw an older lady and her daughter and told the older lady "i bet you taught your daughter how to suck dick" that was cutting edge the crowd was so hot thats classic Dudley material and im still mad that it didnt come out on "ECW:Best of The Dudley Boys"

i find it kind of ironic that he uses the term "worker" when in the past he has always let it be known he hates the term

Honky Tonk Man has a bone to pick with Mick Foley
Detox replied to QuestionMan's topic in General Wrestling
HTM must be a fairly slow reader or a little slow on the up and up...considering foley is good came out in 2001 and have a nice day came out in 99' I respect what HTM has done in his career but this whole "internet angle" stuff is kinda pathetic in Lawler's book he said he still does not understand what HTM has against him and if I remember correctly a few years back at The Royal Rumble Lawler even put HTM over a bit with his commentary. -
Edge is trying to pull off the impossible he has the look and all the nuances of a heel yet he is a babyface I think he has been used the wrong way since he has returned when he came back he automatically has a ppv match against Kane,it was a decent match but they have no history together.A more logical situation for a small feud could have and should have been a heel Matt Hardy, they have considerable history with each other and are familiar with each other in the ring that could have benefitted Edge alot while he was trying to knock off the ring rust. Im sure most fans would have enjoyed a Benoit vs Edge match at BB and the whole Edge "Accidently" spearing Benoit could have evolved into a heel turn for Edge and some quality matches going into the summer with Edge maybe picking up the title at SS
-
I agree completely I figured that it was a one time thing but when she danced again i was like wtf? where is this going
-
Im just glad that HHH and Ric Flair have given Orton and Batista the "rub" as much as Flair and HHH have stayed over they owe it to Orton and Batista..........I believe that the HBK vs HHH match has become the norm simply for the lack of ratio between heels and faces on Raw I look forward to HH vs HBK simply because its a gimmick match and I have seen both of them wrestle in a cell and i dont see it dissapointing the fans...the bad ratio begs the point why this brand extension shit isnt scrapped it has been debated since the beggining but it looks like the fans are sick of it now
-
For some reason I think if they re-packaged Rikishi as a heel without the thong and the blonde hair he could probably hold down a midcard position and at least contribute to the product
-
I agree that Kane deserves a run with the title if used right he has a good gimmick and Benoit has proven that he can have a great match with everybody on the roster, the heel scene is cloudy on Raw at the moment the best case scenario is turning either Edge or Jericho heel with Jericho being the most viable opponent considering his history with Benoit Im actually looking forward to seeing what they are going to do with the title.
