Eddie Sutton officially retired today, shame he couldn't win a national title before he did. I'd imagine that it truly is an end of an era with regards to the Bedlam Series with Sampson leaving for Indiana and Sutton retiring. Scottie Reynolds supposedly is going to make his decision next Tuesday. Oklahoma does get to make one final pitch to him, but it looks good right now for Nova to get him.

That's actually not too bad of a prediction if Peterson can stay healthy the entire season and Bomar shows some improvement.

The only way Patrick and Blackledge could be worse is if Paul Maguire is added.

I would think that if it goes 7, Detroit would probably win. I just can't see them losing a Game 7 at home, LeBron or no LeBron. I mark for old Tim Duncan Wake Forest clips.

This Mavs/Spurs game has been really fun to watch so far. Good fast-paced game.

Detroit really needs to come out in Game 6 and just take over the game against the Cavs in the first 5 minutes. If they dominate Game 6 and win comfortably, you can probably pencil them in for the ECF. If they come out and let Cleveland play their tempo, it's going to be just like tonight. And this series has really made me an admirer of LeBron as compared to the last series with the Wizards.

Chad Ford on Insider talked about the Hawks making a play for Iverson this summer, possibly a package of Al Harrington or Josh Childress and the #4 pick in the draft since the Hawks have cap room to take Iverson's contract. If it was Childress and the #4 pick, I'd definitely do it, since the Sixers could then grab Marcus Williams with the #4 pick, then take Shelden Williams with the 13th pick if he's there.
