I love the Igudola pick. They need to get younger and more athletic. STIFF ALERT! = Robert Swift, just seems like it.

The Sixers need Iguodala or Biedrins. They better not take Kirk Snyder.
-
If Billy King reaches and takes Kirk Snyder at #9, he should be canned immediately.

I would say that Notre Dame can win 7-8 games this year. They probably won't beat Michigan, USC, or Tennessee. They could possibly catch Michigan State since MSU probably won't have the QB situation fully ready yet, and they could upset Purdue if their offense is able to catch on since Purdue has a quite inexperienced defense this year I hear.

As a Sixer fan, I hope Iverson gets dealt. But I don't want that softie Carter.

Shinnecock is an absolute monster course. Too bad for Phil, I was rooting for him today. Onto St.Andrew's and the British Open next.

Oh Athlon does do a great job, especially with the conference and regional issues of their magazines, which for some teams have an article on a player, a coach, or a past team.

Great DVD. Get it especially for the Heenan parts and the Patterson-Slaughter match.

Catholics vs. Convicts!!!

Looking at Tennessee's schedule, they can go 9-2 or 10-1. It depends on how they do against Florida in Knoxville(Sidenote:the road team has won each game of this series since 2000.)

Low Carb Sodas coming soon...

Christ this low-carb craze is getting out of hand -
Phils win 4-2. Eric Milton is now 9-1.

Man Phil Steele's pimping of Oklahoma this year is like Athlon's pimping of USC this year or *shudder* Sporting News' pimping of Auburn last year.

God I despise Howard Eskin. He needs to go back to his daily ass-kissing of Andy Reid and Larry Brown. The only thing worse than him are his callers.

The Knicks? Chokers? Nah, they couldn't possibly EVER choke

What coaches does every think are in danger of being fired after this year? I'll throw some in to start: Mack Brown(Texas): If they somehow beat OU this year, Brown is off the hot seat for another year. Another 65 points scored on the Longhorns may mean that Brown could be out of Austin. John Bunting(UNC): 2 and 3 win seasons won't be tolerated most likely by the UNC people. Ron Zook(Florida): Extremely unfortunate, since most UF fans still clamor for Spurrier. If Zook can beat Tennessee and keep the streak over Georgia going, the Gators should be able to get to the SEC title game, which should buy Zook another year.

Rumors are that 76ers GM Billy King wants to move up in the draft and select Luol Deng or Shaun Livingston. If that doesn't happen, it has been said that the Sixers will select a point guard, Ben Gordon maybe, at #9. If Gordon is drafted by the Sixers, Allen Iverson could possibly be traded, since a Iverson/Gordon backcourt would possibly be the smallest in the league.

Here's how I shape up the national title race USC: Should be able to run through the schedule undefeated. They'll beat VT in August and get the second best team in the Pac-10 Cal at home. Oklahoma: Barring any unforseen circumstances (i.e. last year's Big XII title game), they should also be able to run through their schedule undefeated and get to the Orange Bowl. The game against KSU up in Manhattan could be tough, but OU has the edge due to KSU having to break in new talent. Georgia: Tons of talent, but the schedule is killer. They get LSU in Athens, but have to figure out how to beat Florida and also win what will probably be a tough game at Auburn and the SEC title game, most likely a rematch with LSU. LSU: Great defense and running game, but losing Mauck's experience is going to hurt them. Factor in an extremely tough SEC schedule (going to Georgia and Florida) and LSU probably won't win the national title again this year, but are a good possibility for a BCS bowl. Florida State/Miami: Whoever wins the first game has a shot at the Orange Bowl, but each has to deal with problems after that game too. Miami not going to have those breather games like they had in the Big East in the ACC. A potential landmine game for the Hurricanes will be in up in Charlottesville against Virginia. They also have what I believe is a HUGE question mark at QB with Berlin. Florida State has to worry about many new defensive starters and the usual Chris Rix fuckups that will happen during the season. Ohio State/Michigan: Both have to break in new QBs and other starters. Both could be monsters in 2005 when OSU's Justin Zwick and Michigan's Matt Guiterrez get the experience they need. With that, here are my BCS bowl projections: Orange: USC(Pac-10 winner) vs. Oklahoma(Big 12 winner) Sugar: Georgia(SEC winner) vs. Florida State(ACC winner) Fiesta: West Virginia(Big East winner) vs. LSU(At-large) Rose: Ohio State(Big 10 winner) vs. Cal(At-large, this team will suprise this year) Mid-major BCS possibility: Utah - Urban Meyer has something very special going with the Utes. He will be the next coach to be hired by a big time program.

Hahaha it's even better to see Payton fall short. Thats what he gets for his season of whining and averaging 4 points a game.
-
Haha the Lakers losing is one of my two favorite events in sports. The other is Duke losing.

Man this is turning into a royal asskicking

He'll be the only basketball coach to win an NBA title and a national title. Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer both have won a national title and a Super Bowl.

Man $74 on a $2 win bet for Birdstone. I took $2 each on Purge and Rock Hard Ten. I knew I should've bet a longshot.
