College Hoops: NCAA Tournament Rounds 1 and 2

I hate UNCW. Thanks to their chokejob, my parlay was blown since every other team in it covered, I would've won $300... -
College Hoops: NCAA Tournament Rounds 1 and 2

Dama, your school better not let me down, I took them straight up in my parlay against UWM tomorrow. -
The comedy factor would be through the roof, I seriously think him and Keyshawn would be the first players to get into a fistfight in a huddle.

Daunte Culpepper to the Dolphins for a 2nd round pick from ESPN Radio. David Givens and Kevin Mawae also sign with the Titans.

Jay Wright was just on WFAN, Allan Ray got checked by the doctor today and has been cleared for everything and won't have to even wear a facemask for next week. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/ncaatourney0...tory?id=2367076 -

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2366357 John Chaney has officially retired. Andy Katz has reported that these are the probable candidates to be the next coach at Temple: Rick Brunson Randy Ayers Bruiser Flynt Fran Dunphy Bob Huggins Flynt seems like he has underachieved at Drexel. Dunphy has turned down his alma mater, La Salle, twice so I don't think he'll come in. I highly doubt that Ayers is going to get hired. -

Speaking of Texas, Dama what's the odds of a meltdown if Texas wins the tournament and has a football and basketball championship in a one year period? -

Which is why every regional except for the DC one is a real bitch to pick. The only thing I'm extremely sure of is UConn winning their regional, Texas getting to the Elite Eight at least, and Tennessee going out early. -

I will say this about Nova, they really remind me of St. Joe's 2 years ago in that if they go cold shooting-wise, they're in a lot of trouble, which is why I'm so hesitant to put them in the Final Four. -

They're quite talented, but the Big East fan in me (SilverPhoenix included), would probably be quite sickened if the traitor school ended up beating Nova in the Sweet 16, Georgetown in the Elite 8, and UConn in the Final Four. And there's something about Al Skinner that reminds me way too much of Steve Lappas, the previous Nova coach who had a ton of talented teams but never got out of the first weekend of the NCAAs. -

Another thing about BC is that they have to fly out to Utah, and play 2 teams (Pacific and probably Nevada), who are playing relatively close to home, which always can be trouble. -

Nova is playing 2 home games in Philly the first weekend, Wisconsin has been underwhelming this year(Little tidbit of info, Bo Ryan is from the Philly suburbs so it's a homecoming for him), and Wisconsin has been awful on the road, I can't see them losing there. As I've said before, I don't get the hoopla with BC considering they've never gotten out of the first weekend under Skinner and they usually exit by way of a team you don't expect to beat them (Last year with UWM, 01 with USC). That will be Nova's toughest game though if it happens, if they win, they'll get to the Final Four. But other than UConn's region, I have no frickin idea who is coming out of each region. Texas is my most sure pick of the 3, provided they don't lay a goose egg like they did with the OK State game. -

I think it'll be LSU who takes them out. All the size they have is just unbelievable, I'm actually really happy they're not in Nova's bracket. -

Hell no, outside of the 2000 run, Florida has always underachieved in the NCAAs. I'm thinking OU can get to the Sweet 16. -

I love Vitale's Boston College ass-kissing of how they're a Final Four contender, nevermind the fact that they've never gotten out of the first weekend of the NCAAs under Skinner. A Nova-Georgetown Elite Eight matchup would fucking rock. -

But you instead have to deal with Billy Packer and his Duke man-love. -

Oh God, the ESPN show. Gee I wonder who Vitale is taking to win it all... I personally think that if Calhoun gets his team's heads on straight, UConn could roll through this tourney. LSU could be a scary matchup for Duke due to their size, Glen Davis is good enough to deal with Shelden Williams. -

Looking at the Atlanta bracket, if Texas doesn't get to the Sweet 16 then they need to drop men's basketball. Gottlieb is a fucking idiot trying to pimp Memphis, Bucknell could definitely pull an upset in the second round. -

Yeah OU actually got a decent draw, UW-Milwaukee isn't like last year, and they probably get longtime chokers Florida in the second round. -

BC is horrible in NCAA tournaments, if Ray is OK then I think Nova can get past them. Time to play "Which round will Florida choke in?" I say the second round. -

Oklahoma hasn't been announced yet either right? I guess they're in Nova's bracket as well.
