Iggy's Final 2005/2006 College Football Rankings
therealworldschampion replied to iggymcfly's topic in Sports
I heard that Notre Dame was pushing hard for McCoy. -
Why have I gotten the flashback of Angle's 2002 promo when he brought out a stuffed animal ape with a banana on its nose that says "HHH Jr."? Anyway, congrats to the new parents.
-
I'm actually hoping for wins by the Giants and Bengals tomorrow, because I don't think I could resist making a nice profit by betting against both of the Mannings.
-
Nice, I hit my Redskins/under 37, Pats/under 37 parlay and pick up $100.
-
That NFL Network commercial was great with the 4 months ago setting: "Without Randy Moss, it'll be smooth sailing for the Vikings" "That Drew Rosenhaus knows how to manage his players"
-
Everyone and their brother(including me) has probably taken a Redskins/Pats parlay, so expect the Jags to win...
-
Something I saw floating around the web, makes me believe that VT is turning into FSU/Miami: Like cabbageboy had said after the Gator Bowl, they're like Miami without the rings.
-
Nah the Eagles need a veteran Brad Johnson-type as a backup, not another project.
-
Bullshit on your first point, I've never seen anything like the thing Vick did in the Gator Bowl, blatant cheap shot. And he's not going in the first three rounds, the maturity issues will knock him down, along with when he played good defenses this year that usually produce NFL players (Miami and FSU), he was completely lost. 2nd day pick if he comes out.
-
Agreed. He's got major maturity issues, and his performances against top defenses (Miami and FSU) don't help him either.
-
Good riddance, what a fuckup he is...

College Hoops: 1/2/2006 - 1/15/2006

"Who?" -
I figured this would fit in here, I have the video for the final 2 minutes of USC-ND, but is there any place that I could find the whole game at? Or at least just the final quarter?
-
I root for Penn State, I grew up watching the Tony Sacca(from South Jersey)/Kerry Collins teams in the 90s. No one in South Jersey cares about Rutgers except for alumni. My family is split between PSU fans and ND fans, so the arguments are always fun. There's also a good chance that I will be going to PSU next year too.

I don't mind Eric too much, since he's able to put his problems to rest....unlike a certain general manager on his old team who just feels the need to take a shot at him in nearly every press conference he has...

Plaschke is such an arrogant prick.

Iggy's Final 2005/2006 College Football Rankings

Pat Forde's 2006 outlook. If this is actually the preseason top 25, Texas-OSU would be a #1 vs. #2 matchup in September. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/sto..._pat&id=2281099 -

Just pray that Vince comes back, because if he doesn't you know the media is warming up the preseason #1 for ND due to returning a ton of starters. Also, with the exception of the USC game, every challenging game (PSU, Michigan, UCLA) is in South Bend. -

Stweart Mandel of CNNSI.com put up a preseason top 10 for next year, where he has Texas at #1 if Young stays and Notre Dame at #2. -
I would've said Gene Keady, but he's retired now.

Not a very good school and there are more attractive women at other southern universities. Unless you're getting in on Bright Futures or Florida pre-paid (which, since you're in Miami, is very possible), aim higher. For free, that or UF are great. Actually, I'm trying to get accepted into their film school, which is top ten in the country, probably the best in this state. I've only lived out here for about a year, and am working on my bachelor's at the moment, so no Bright Futures here. Don't even know anything about Florida pre-paid, though it sounds interesting. Same with me and their law school, which has really shot up in the rankings in the past couple of years. The undergrad is known not to be too great, but the grad and professional programs are quite decent.

I just looked at 2006 schedules, Ohio State @ Texas and Penn State @ Notre Dame are on the same day. What a great day that will be.
