ESPN Classic is finally showing college football again. They're showing a personal favorite of mine, the 1987 Fiesta Bowl.

What a game. Me and my buddies at the bar were about to call it the Scott Norwood Bowl thanks to all the missed FGs.

After the Fiesta Bowl yesterday, you should all know why I put Brent Musburger on this list.

CFN made a good point in their preview of this game. Whenever a team gets the label of "greatest of all time" by the media prior to finishing the season, they tend to lose. It happened in 2003 with Oklahoma before the Kansas State and LSU games, and it happened in 1983 with Nebraska before the Orange Bowl upset to Miami.

Many of them felt that Penn State should have gone to the Fiesta Bowl over an Ohio State team that Penn State beat and thus get the more desirable matchup against Notre Dame. Instead, Penn State gets to play a 4-loss Florida State team. I doubted that PSU would play ND considering that they're playing ND in 2006 and 2007.

Sweet I got a first round bye.

WVU should probably finish the year in the top 5 or near it depending on how the PSU game goes tomorrow night.

I want to extend a Nelson Muntz laugh to John Swofford of the ACC. He tried to weaken the Big East, and while he got his championship game, he also has the worst conference champion in the BCS, while the Big East champion beat the SEC champion in a literal home game for the SEC champion.

Wow, I haven't realized until now that the game is really close to happening. I'm starting to lean towards Texas winning. Just a feeling...

The only team I'm confident betting on is New England. The rest I don't know.

I thought WVU was going to come into this game with a major chip on their shoulder, I didn't think it would be 28-0 already though.

Having a 62 inch flatscreen TV in HD along with a surround sound system for today is quite awesome.

I can't believe Miami axed Art Kehoe, he's been responsible for pulling great recruits out of NY/NJ/PA for years. He's definitely going to get another job somewhere very soon. I also think this could end up costing them Pat Devlin, their top QB recruit who Kehoe recruited. Devlin could reopen his recruitment, which could be very good for Penn State and Virginia.

Their regular college football guys aren't very good from what I've seen. I'd imagine they could use Aikman as an analyst since he was a pretty solid QB at UCLA, I don't know who else though.

Fox is going to be doing the national title game next year along with the Orange and Sugar Bowl, I wonder who they'll have doing PBP and color commentary for it. I'd imagine that Buck and Aikman would do the national title game.
