Because Tech is vastly overrated. Come on Dama, they lost to a bad Oklahoma State team and now they're going to beat OU? -

If Michigan ends up winning the Big Ten title today, after that BS time snafu in the Penn State game, I think I'm going to be physically ill. -
Yeah seriously, I'd say FSU has replaced Miami as the outlaw program in Florida now. FSU has had a shitload of players arrested the past year, but you don't hear about that. Miami has this one song and it's like Irvin, the Blades brothers, and Jerome Brown are playing for them again...

I believe they met twice in the mid-70s when they played each other in the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl, and played a home-and-home series in the late-70s and the 80s. I know for a fact that Notre Dame and Auburn have never played each other. -
Think about it, if the Eagles can pull out a win on Sunday at New York, the schedule sets up nicely for a late season run with McMahon as the QB. The next 3 games are GB, Seattle and the Giants at home, then 2 road games at St.Louis and Arizona, then Washington at home. All can be winnable games and they could possibly finish 9-7 to 11-5 and pull out a Wild Card berth. If McMahon pulled that off, pinjockey is right, it'd be AJ Feeley 20 fold.

McNabb being told to have surgery

All we need now is Luther Campbell to make his return, a shitload of endzone celebrations and for Miami to start playing Notre Dame and Oklahoma again...

I'm wondering who will live longer: Castro, Roberts, Keith Richards or the two Coreys <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Castro, Roberts, Richards, Joe Paterno, or the two Coreys

The rumor now going around is that the Fiesta Bowl is in love with a possible Notre Dame-Alabama matchup if Bama can win on Saturday. That would be quite a good matchup if the Fiesta Bowl can't get Penn State to play Notre Dame instead... -
Sixers win again and go to 6-3.

Either Michigan State will give PSU a game or PSU will end up winning by 4 touchdowns. I'm going to say that PSU jumps out to an early lead and MSU packs it in. I really don't get CFN's reasoning about an upset, considering Michigan State has been completely dead the past few weeks, getting killed by Minnesota and losing to a bad Purdue team, along with PSU coming off the bye week. -
McNabb won't be starting against the Giants, time for him to get the surgery.

I still don't know why the fuck they gave Westbrook an extension if they STILL aren't going to give him a bigger role in the offense. I know that he's still probably pretty safe, but Andy Reid's job might be in trouble over the next few years if this ship isn't righted. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ship isn't righted? They were in the superbowl last year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i agree...to say the wheels are falling off is a bit much...they're having issues that are distracting the whole team: TO, Donovan's health, lack of other offensive options...they'll be just fine next season with a healthy Donovan, a free agent pickup or two and some decent draft picks...I highly doubt Reid is going anywhere anytime soon... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah what you have to remember is in 2004 they had no injuries at all, and this year is pretty much the polar opposite. They budgeted for next year so they'll have a ton of cap room most likely, I'd like to see them get in the top 10 for the draft and possibly grab Mario Williams from NC State or A.J. Hawk from OSU.

The only running Mahe should be doing is to his next shift at Chickie & Pete's...

Yeah, that play call was Kotite-level dumb. Seriously, kill the clock...
-
This team is likely to finish 7-9, personally I'd just jockey for draft position now.

Darryl Talley, who played for the Bills about 10 years or so is my 3rd or 4th cousin.

Watching the arena scene was like Gladiator, and they set up the Ides of March and the assassination of Caesar brilliantly, with Caesar and Brutus playing a game, then getting into an argument, leading Brutus to decide to join the conspiracy... Next week is the season finale, which I'm guessing is going to be the Ides of March from how the scenes from next week were shown...

"Are you sure you want to do this Vern?" "Just place the bets Paul" I just felt the need to put this in the thread...

I'm graduating in May too, though I'm pushing back entry into the real world for another 3 years with law school because you can't earn shit with a history degree...

I'm still pissed about the UGA game last night. Especially the Thomas Flowers fumble and the the fullback fumbling...
