Scumbag Menendez wins, I love how people in NJ whine about hating corruption in the state, then turn around and vote him in. Wait until he turns into Bob Torricelli Part II.

I hope and pray that Kean somehow beats Menendez in the NJ Senate race, mostly because Menendez is probably one of the biggest scumbags in New Jersey not named Jon Corzine. Seriously, either Menendez or Corzine criticizing someone else's character is the purest example of the pot calling the kettle black.

I went to Nova's Midnight Madness last week, and Jay Wright got Tony Yayo and 50 Cent to show up for it. Even though I'm not a fan of them, the place was fucking electric.

Nova should make the NCAAs again despite the losses to the NBA and graduation if Sumpter is fully healthy. I can't wait to watch Scottie Reynolds in action. SJU will miss the NCAAs again. The whining from Hawk Hill will be hilarious. Temple is a couple of years away, lost a lot of the starters and they're adjusting to Dunphy. I don't think LaSalle will fall off that much despite losing Steven Smith, Gianni's a good coach.

Felt I had to put in my two cents. Just another case of the media blowing things out of proportion, Eskin's been more unlistenable than ever today. Though there have been some good one-liners to come out of this such as "Todd Pinkston tried committing suicide too....but he dropped the pills." "TO is obviously a Phillies fan, I'd take 35 pills too after that game last night."

I'm on the board less and less now due to law school taking up most of my time, so this is likely my last blog entry for a while. Phils are tied for the wild card, if they win this next series with the Marlins I think they can take it. I was at Eagles-Giants on Sunday, less said the better. PA is fine. See ya.

ND is not winning the national title, this loss probably knocks them down to about 12th or 13th. If Michigan beats MSU and wins in Happy Valley, they'll get to Columbus undefeated. This win puts them outside, if not actually in the top 5. Auburn should be the new #2.

I believe prior to the 2003-2004 playoffs, the Eagles played at Lambeau field twice during the Reid era. One was a 6-3 loss in 2000, and the other game was a 21-17 win on MNF in 2003.

With regards to the Eagles-Giants game, I'm not worried about the offense against the Giants defense, it's going to be how the Eagles defense does that decides this game. Barber is going to get his yards, so the biggest key will be pressure on Manning . If they can force him into some turnovers, they can pull this one off. The Giants really need this game however because they can't head to Seattle 0-2. I'm hopeful in this game because of the Giants needing OT to pull of the win in Philly last year when the defense had a ton of injuries and the Mike McMahon experience being in full effect.

PSU-ND has the potential to be a decent game, simply because I think PSU's receivers have the ability to give the ND secondary a ton of problems due to their speed, PSU has the edge in the kicking game, and PSU's linebackers in the 3-4 should do a decent job against Darius Walker. I think ND will win because of the home-field advantage and because this is Morelli's first road game (though ND will face a better QB in this game than last week, seriously he showed me more in one game and mop-up duty last year than Reggie Ball has in 4 years), but don't be suprised if it's a close one. I'm just glad they're playing again. I've heard rumblings that Michigan may try to get out of their series with ND, if they do PSU should try and start playing ND every year again like they did in the 80s and early 90s.
