Heh don't go under the tutelage of Ray Lewis, unless you want some "legal troubles".... Better than me though, I was a QB and got drafted by the fucking ARIZONA CARDINALS....

No one wants him. Why do you think that only the Eagles and Ravens went after him last year?

I wish they'd pick up another WR anyway, I could live with Peter Warrick....

He basically blew off the mandatory autograph session again, and Reid sent him home. He had been given the day off today due to his groin injury, but decided to show up anyway and put on a show. Reid decided that if he was well enough to come out to practice today, then he was well enough to go to the autograph session. And the fucking Philly media has choppers over his house in Moorestown....

Eskin just reported that he's suspended for a week. He really pissed any goodwill that he had from last season away in 6 months...

Replacing one statue with another a QB isn't going to help Dallas. Besides, I think they'll have problems early on with the 3-4 defense. They also could help themselves by not getting torched for 49 points against the Eagles again. Pinkston is not that bad of an injury, Greg Lewis can easily fill his role.

    College Football is almost back

Everyone wants to give Texas a bunch of credit for that performance in the Rose Bowl, but also remember that Troy Smith had done the exact same thing to the Michigan defense a month and a half before the Rose Bowl in Columbus. I think it was more of Jim Herrman's defense getting torched repeatedly by mobile QBs (Drew Stanton at Michigan State, Troy Smith, and Vince Young), rather than Texas being super-impresssive in the Rose Bowl.

I'm torn on this injury. Sure it takes down the WR depth, but then again Lewis and Reggie Brown get much more playing time, and I don't have to see Todd running away from contact this year....

    Picked up NCAA 2006 today...

Pretty decent game so far, haven't tried the Heisman mode yet, but it should be pretty fun. Thankfully they toned down the home-field advantage option this year, letting you turn it off if you want... *The awesome taunting the opposing stadium is still in the game as I had Leon Washington score a TD against Florida and he mocked the Gator Chomp and did a throat slash...*

    College Football is almost back

Conference predictions: ACC: Miami based on their talent. They'll probably beat FSU and if they can get their QB situation settled, they'll be undefeated when they go to Virginia Tech. I just think Marcus Vick may be a little too shaky this year. Big Ten: Ohio State. If they beat Texas and Iowa, I can definitely see them going to Ann Arbor undefeated. Michigan will probably lose twice on the road again, and Iowa is a contender if they can win in Columbus. Big XII: Oklahoma. I'm not picking Texas until they actually beat Oklahoma. Sooners won't go undefeated this year, but they'll win the South and the Big XII title game. Big East: Louisville. West Virginia is the only challenger that they have in the conference. Pac 10: USC by a wide margin. SEC: Now we're talking. Tennessee has boatloads of talent, but a total nightmare of a schedule(their toughest games I think are LSU, in Gainesville against Florida, and in Tuscaloosa, which is going to be a war.) Florida is talented, but I think they'll need to adjust to Meyer. Eh I'll take LSU as long as Miles adapts well and they get the QB situation settled.

    The Official NHL Offseason Thread

From what I read in the papers today, Danny Markov was swearing that if the NHLPA ratified the new CBA, he'd stay in Russia and never play in the NHL again. If this is true, I'd have to say that Clarke probably got as much as he could for him...

    This Week in Baseball

I'm going to have to agree with UTSU about the Phillies ownership. That franchise is going nowhere until the current ownership sells the team, to Comcast or someone else. I doubt Montgomery and the rest of the owners want to fire Wade, they may just kick him upstairs into a "team president"-like position and hire a GM just to appease the fanbase, unless they want to see the fans go into their 1994-2002 -like state again.

    GOD DAMN IT

Hasn't been announced for who will be the play-by-play guy for NBC. My guess is it'll probably be Tom Hammond, who does the Notre Dame games for NBC.

What do you think will happen

NFC: The Eagles win 12-13 games and probably return to the Super Bowl. Carolina improves and wins 11 games and gets the #2 seed in the NFC. Atlanta probably takes a bit of a step back next year due what I think will be Vick still not really adapting to the West Coast offense along with a tougher schedule. Minnesota probably fires Tice halfway into the season and wins the North. Anybody's guess who wins the West.

Barry Alvarez is retiring after next year

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2118728 Hell of a job by Barry up at Wisconsin considering the state of the program in 1990 when he started. He really gave the Badgers a presence recruiting-wise in NJ(pulled Ron Dayne out of Overbrook along with many others). He's going to focus on being a full-time athletic director now... Maybe now this will lead to another certain Big Ten coach finally taking a hint *coughPaternocough* and retiring...

    The Official NHL Offseason Thread

Seems like the end of an era now that LeClair is gone. They'll likely bring up some of the Phantoms to fill in, but reports are that they'll probably aim for one veteran defenseman. Clarke apparently wants to bring Malakhov back, but I'd like to see them make a run at Scott Niedermayer if possible...
