Interesting little tidbit: Vader's son Jesse White is in the game. He's the 3rd string center for Oklahoma, #60, and has a 74 rating... -

For some reason, I could see USC getting upset in South Bend in October. Think about it, of course it's a rivalry game for SC, but how pumped will they really be for it considering that they've blown out Notre Dame the past 3 years? I imagine that Charlie Weis will have the kinks worked out of the offense by then, and you know he and the Irish will put a lot of time into preparing for that game, since it's pretty much the game that Notre Dame wants to win and why they fired Willingham. Strange things also can happen to top teams when they visit South Bend as well... The best thing I can say about Miami is that Brock Berlin is no longer there, and Kyle Wright should be better. They've also got a hell of a WR corps down there, and the talent there makes them an ACC contender. If they can win in Tallahassee in the opener, they'll probably get to Blacksburg undefeated. -

Like I said before, I don't think Tennessee's schedule is going to let them go without any losses. LSU is a much safer bet to come out of the SEC undefeated since most of their tough games (Florida, Tennessee, Auburn) are all in Baton Rouge along with the team being loaded as long as the QB play is good. -

Lloyd tends to get outcoached in big road games(ex: Notre Dame in 2002 and 2004, Iowa and Oregon in 2003, Ohio State in 2004)... -

I don't think Tennessee is going to get through that schedule of theirs undefeated. I mean they have to go to Florida, LSU, and Alabama(a game that I think will be a total war, especially since it's in Tuscaloosa), deal with a visit from Georgia, and then take a trip to South Bend, where strange things do happen with high-ranked teams. However if they get through October undefeated, they'll get to the SEC title undefeated. I see USC in the Rose Bowl, and maybe Michigan if they can get out of Iowa City with a win. LSU is a possibility, but it depends on how they respond to Les Miles. I think Purdue is a potential darkhorse since they're returning all of their defense and have a loaded offense, as long as Brandon Kirsch adapts well as the new QB. Also helping them is that there's no OSU or Michigan on their schedule this year, and their toughest game being at home against Iowa. -
You haven't been drinking Howard Eskin's Kool-Aid have you? But yeah, this team is screwed. I don't think Cholly could even manage a donut stand, let alone an MLB team...

I just remembered, this is Isiah Thomas that we're dealing with here. This trade would never happen, as Iverson and Marbury would be likely to kill each other over the ball...
-
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Is Isiah stupid enough to think that trade would actually be accepted?

Anyone had their Wisdom Teeth removed?

I got all 4 taken out back in March. The surgery for me only took about 25 minutes, which they put me under general anesthesia for. Recovery was fine for me too, I was only sore for a few days and started eating normal food about 4 days after the surgery. -
Just for anyone going to the Philly show, WMMR said this morning that the Pink Floyd performance will be beamed in to Philly from London...

This trade won't happen, considering that if they did it about 90% of their salary would be locked into Owens, Moss, and Sapp. Though it would be fun to see because there would be a good chance of a fight between Moss and Owens breaking out at midfield during a game.

I'd advise getting to your friend's place early, since the Philly police are closing off a fairly large portion of the area around the Art Museum. I'm going on Saturday and I'm staying at a friends' apartment that is about a 10 min walk away from the Art Museum and I'll probably head up there Friday night so I can avoid the traffic. Show starts at noon, but they'll be showing the London show on the jumbotrons at the Museum, I'd get there early if you want to be close to the stage.
