I think Mitchell is gone this off-season. Considering that Reid nearly sent him home last week because of him running his mouth and Greg Lewis playing well throughout the playoffs, I think there's probably a good shot that Lewis takes his spot and Mitchell gets sent packing.

http://www.thebrushback.com/mikekrzy_full.htm Satirical article, even though I could definitley see it happening...

Heh next year the game is in Detroit. You think you heard about reporters bitching this year, wait until they start on the snow and low temps in Detroit.
-
They definitley should take a shot at Ty Law, he'd be a great corner to cover those elite WRs in the NFC. Someone like Carlos Rodgers or Justim Miller could fall to them in the draft, I think they also need to address DT, because I don't think you can really depend on Grady Jackson for a full year.
-
Green Bay really needs a shut-down corner to handle the Terrell Owens, Roy Williams, Lavaerneus Coles, and Torry Holts of the conference. Harris can be a decent #2 corner, but I think they really missed McKenzie last year.

I saw that kind of thing over at Penn State when I went to the Nebraska game a couple of years ago. Now factor in that Beaver Stadium's restrooms are all old and stuff is really bad in there....

Remember kids, getting alcohol poisoning at a football game is a BAD thing to do. I've seen it before...

I'm also starting to think that Reid should probably hand the playcalling duties over to Marty Morhinweg(assistant head coach) or Brad Childress(offensive coordinator) this summer. He tends to have these awful playcalling games at the worst times to have them. I'd personally go with Morhinweg since he's had expericene doing that(San Francisco offensive coordinator in the mid to late 90s.)

Yeah I would rank them as this probably right now: 1. Brady 2. McNabb 3. Manning 4. Culpepper 5. Pennington
-
Which is why I really think they need to get themselves a power RB in the draft that can form a "Thunder and Lightning" duo with Westbrook. Reid does tend to give up on the running game too early if it's not working.

I agree with that. He simply had a horrible game and they still almost won. It's not like he's ever going to be considered the biggest choker QB ever(that title belongs to Peyton Manning.) Brady is still above him in my opinion due to having 3 championships and an unflappable demeanor, but McNabb is on the same level as Manning right now.

Well I guess I'll address the Eagles offseason plans now: 1) Free agents - UFA's this year include Trotter, Mayberry, Burgess, and Simon. Trotter will get resigned I imagine, I doubt Mayberry will be back with Shawn Andrews returning, I think they'll resign Burgess, and Simon will want more than he's worth so they'll let him go. Westbrook is a RFA, but they'll put a big tender on him. 2) Cuts - Mitchell is gone, his whole act during the last 2 weeks along with Greg Lewis' performances throughout the playoffs probably is going to send FraudEx packing. Hopefully they cut Simoneau. 3) Free agency - T.J. Houshmenzadah(sp?) would be a great pickup as a #2 WR depending on how much money he wants. 4) Draft - They've got 5 picks in the first 3 rounds, so they can really improve some positions. One of the picks, preferably the first one, should be on a DT to replace Simon. I like Anttaj Hawthorne from Wisconsin for that pick. They also need to grab a power back as a complement to Westbrook, Ciatrick Fason comes to mind there. Also some LB and OL depth is needed.

Atlanta would've never been as close to New England as the Eagles were if they had made it. The Pats would've done what the Eagles did, shut down the run and make Vick throw.

Bumping this since we know what the draft order is now

Definitley a dynasty. Anytime a team wins 3 titles in 4 years, it's definitely a dynasty. I'm going to disagree about the Cowboys, I'd say people hated them, ESPECIALLY on the East Coast (Philly and Washington).
-
That's what happens I guess when you play opposite Eric Moulds and can sucker a team into thinking that you're an elite WR...
-
Most of the ESPN picks for the Pats were pretty much in the range for what the score was, about 3-6 points. Hoge looked like a complete moron saying that it was going to be 45-10, but then again he looks like a moron all the time....

New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles The Boston/Philadelphia rivalry continues, can we possibly get McNabb and Brady to reenact the Erving/Bird fight during Super Bowl week?
-
1960 was their last title, in the pre-Super Bowl era, so yeah we've had plenty to bitch about in the last nearly 40 years...

Not as much as the Tampa loss 2 years ago. New England was the rightfully the favorite in this game and the Eagles played them close. The Eagles were favored in that game against Tampa two years ago, a team they had pretty much owned before that game.... Are the Moss billboards up yet in Wisconsin? The ones that are pretty much a takeoff of the Mastercard commercials? -
There's something Bill Simmons calls the "5 year grace period", which means that when your team wins a title, you are pretty much not allowed to bitch for another 5 years about your team. Which means that after 2005, you can rightfully bitch about Oklahoma again. Think about Denver fans, they can finally bitch this coming season about Shanahan-Plummer...

The Eagles are the only one in any position. The Phillies are not going to win anything thanks to their inept GM and ownership, the Sixers are stuck in cap hell for the next 6 years, and who knows when the Flyers are coming back...

Funny, but it doesn't hurt as bad as losing to an 8-8 team at home in the playoffs.... When you have Al Harris as your #1 CB, you truly have Al Harris as your #1 CB -
Oh please, you still have 3 Lakers championships(one over the Sixers, BTW) and a Super Bowl win in 1996, I've never even seen one of my teams win one. Yes I'm bitter.....

I've really come to expect losses in championships by now, every Philly fan can probably remember when they first got their heart broken by a Philly team. For me it was the 1993 World Series(Goddamn Fregosi putting a tired Mitch in....)
