The Rams are playing like an 8-8 team.

"What a great play by Michael Vick! He was risking serious injury by not fumbling! Pass the Kleenex!" I also have a good feeling about the Eagles if they win tomorrow and play the Falcons as their defense is very similar to Tampa's(speed defense) and have done extremely well against Dunn in the past.

Listening to WFAN on Monday is going to be some pure entertainment as Jets fans will be calling en masse calling for Paul Hackett's firing.

Did Brien go to Florida State by any chance?

Yikes that was a Chris Rix like pass.

Tailgating at Eagles Game Sunday

Salisbury was going with the Packers last week, and before that he said Carolina would run through the playoffs. He's as great with his pics as he was with his playing career I may be going to the game on Sunday, I'll probably find out on tickets tomorrow or Saturday. And since I'm off Monday thanks to the holiday and the people I go with have a Winnebago with burgers, ribs and a shitload of beer......oh it'll be a fun day. It's also a good thing that you'll be out there early. Try arriving at noon and you'll have to deal with the retarded Philadelphia police and their "traffic controlling" abilities. -
I'm an Eagles fan myself, but if they make it to the Super Bowl, the 2 weeks before it are going to be complete hell with all of the hype that WIP and the local stations are going to squeeze in. Suffice to say that it will be the most ever hype driven 2 weeks in Philadelphia history.

Vikings don't want Joe Buck to announce the game

Is it wrong for me as an Eagle fan to actually like Troy Aikman's commentary? Because he's probably the best out of the Fox A-team. And I think Daryl Johnston is good too. Ugh I feel so dirty saying that. Theismann is like the Bill Walton of the NFL: Proof that you can play the game for a long time and still not know what the fuck you're talking about. -
Divisional Playoffs Prediction Thread

Agreed. Much like McNabb's injury in 2002. He looked decent in the 1st playoff game against Atlanta, then looked really off his game against Tampa in the championship game. This is where I think the weakness of the NFC comes into play as they won't have to face a great defense like Tampa's was in 2002 or Carolina's was in 2003. -

I don't think I'll get between the Dama/FM lovefest so I'll respond to pinjockey's post: He's hobbled by that ankle too, and Sheppard is nowhere near as bad as Al Harris is. Remember that Tice will probably still call a shitload of passing plays and ignore the run as well. -
Oh this will give Eskin something to bitch about on WIP today.

I just had this little black kid ask me if it was ok for him to fake moon a bunch of white people from Wisconsin because he had scored a touchdown.

Divisional Playoffs Prediction Thread

I know this isn't playoff-related, but Ben Roethlisberger is going to donate his first playoff check of $18,000 to the tsunami relief effort as reported by the AP. -
MLB: Braves- Division rival. Sell out a playoff game once in awhile. Mets- Division rival. I don't really hate the Mets since its hilarious to listen to WFAN and hear their fanbase propose all of their shitty "trades". NFL: Giants- Division rival. But I probably respect them and their fans more than the next rival I'll list. Cowboys- Hate their team(especially the convicts of the 90s), and their "fans" even more(not the ones in Texas who are the true fans, but rather the frontrunner pieces of shit in the area I live who jump on and off more bandwagons than ESPN and root for teams like the Yankees and Lakers as well.) Jerry Jones is pretty high on my hate list as well. Packers- I hate the media obsession with Favre and their constant blowing of Lambeau Field still being this place that road teams can never win at despite the recent playoff losses there and the Eagles winning there on Monday night last year. NHL: Devils- Especially for beating the Flyers way too many times in the playoffs. Rangers- Division rival, and its funny to watch them throw $70 million in their payroll and miss the playoffs each year. Maple Leafs- Have become a good rival for the Flyers. NBA: Celtics & Lakers - Both rivals of the Sixers dating way back. Especially the Lakers since I despise Kobe with a passion.

You make it out like all of Veterans Stadium was cheering the injury when only about 30% of them did it. I was at that game, I should know(I wasn't cheering though, Irvin was a jackass when he played but I don't stoop that low.)
-
Beltran is going to hit .230 next year with 15 home runs, I can feel it now since he signed with the Mets.

Like C Dubya, being an Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers fan is passed down through generations with most people in the Philadelphia area. And the bandwagon fans right now have no idea what its truly like to be an Eagles fan. Try sitting through the Kotite years or the last 2 years of the Rhodes era to find out what I'm talking about.

Sean Salisbury and his constant bandwagon jumping.

Over 700 wins. Took a school that was basically dead basketball-wise and turned it into a power without the top recruits that a Duke, North Carolina or Kansas usually gets.

From what I've heard, Moss is questionable for the game on Sunday with that ankle. I have no doubt that he will play, but he's going to be hobbled probably. -

Steelers, Rams(get their game indoors and on turf where they're most dangerous), Eagles(I think the Vikings might have put a little too much into winning the game at Lambeau), Pats(Belichick is in Manning's head) -
Vikings are going to have to stop Westbrook if they want to win, I think he got about 150 all-purpose yards against Minnesota back in Week 2. As I have said, Moss is going to have to play a great game even if that ankle's bad against the Eagle secondary.

Jimmy Johnson is one to talk about having class considering who he coached.....
