Well...you answered your own question didn't you? But anyways, my personal opinion. If you're about to go to college (How does that happen? Unless you mean in August..or you're going back) But don't waste 300-400 dollars on a game system, especically if you already have an Xbox if you're about to go to college. If you haven't been already, you'll find there's a lot better (more) things you could spend that money on. (Like food >_>). Not to mention, that more then likely someone else in the dorm you're in if you're in one will have one. Just be a leech. (I can't think of that other word right now)

I think most do. I know I do. I usually only play if it's you know, a person who's been on the bad end of the stick and has been losing a lot, and he needs a win. Or if I want to raise the rating by having a title match, but I don't actually want the title to change hands, then I'll play as the champion. (or vice versa)

Go to your locker room, and press start. You can customize it. Put up posters, and wall items and such. From what I hear, it's basically the same. I think Austin is a person who gets the ECW storyline. (?) Just one backstage brawl room I'm pretty sure. Question, does anyone know the name of Ken Kennedy's finisher? (In the game) I figured it was just Samoan Drop, whatever number, but even if it is, I'm not sure which section it's under. (Plus I looked under all of them and didn't see it) I know I saw it when I was making another CAW but I can't remember the name now

Yea it is. Since technically this mode seems to be more of a mix between "Owner/GM" mode. Obviously the stuff like emails are 'behind the scenes'. And just like IRL behind the scenes, Edge might say to Vince, I'm tired of losing, it's logical that he'd say that on the game. And no, I don't. But if I have a superstar that's lost 9 matches in a row, and is complaining, I might put him in a match for championship (whether they win or lose that makes them happier) or play his match making him win, to get his morale up a little more. It's not like you have to play every match on the card, or his match every week.

Because I shouldn't have to, because the game should know I don't have control over the matches (unless I have way too much time on my hands) and not give me that message. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You do have control of the matches. Way to much time on your hands? A match that doesn't take that long. And even if they did...you're telling me you bought (or rented) a game just to sim matches?

Win 10 matches with a created wrestler to unlock the Tough Enough trophy, which will unlock the majority of moves. For the rest, you need to buy or win the corresponding legends... Can anyone tell me how to pull them/do moves off the cage? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Would that be ten matches in exhibition mode? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yea. And 'rematches' work too. I just used 2 controllers, and using my AJ Styles CAW, won a match, hit rematch, won the match, rinse repeat, 10 times. And to pull the moves off the cage, just win the person climbs the cage, grab them. There's like three different stages. A move for when they're standing on the ropes, and then, a different one for each time they move up a whole 'green meter'. And the German Suplex is when they're at the very top, about ready to climb over. How about...you know, making him win? (Play the match) Or just trade him, if he's that much of a hassle.

Wow, in GM mode both me (SD) and the computer, got 5 star main events in the same week. Mine = The Rock & Hollywood Hogan vs Bret Hart & Mankind Theirs = Batista vs Triple H in an Ironman match for the WWE championship. Which Batista won.

Cole & Tazz are ringside, I believe. I've been using the stamina meters. They haven't been that annoying, and I think you can change the rate of losing it in options. GM Mode has been getting rough. Raw's been ahead of me for a while now with almost 1 million more fans, and I've been low on cash for the past few months. I let the CPU simulate their own cards for a few weeks, but it seems like it never can keep a feud for more than one week. It's gained some fans, but I have to question the decision to put the World Title on Doug Basham from HHH. Meanwhile, there's the interpromotional Buried Alive match at Survivor Series, in Calgary. I put Bret in there, against Angle, but he lost, and now he's apparently disappeared. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Here's a bit of advice for GM mode... You don't need feuds. A HIAC match between a JBL and RVD that have been feuding for 7 weeks'll get the same rating as a HIAC between a JBL and RVD..that haven't.

Start opens a menu in GM mode...? :s Because I'm pressing it right now and it does nothing...you can save, when you're making the card, but thats it as far as I know..

In other cases yea, it's actually better. For instance, the Superplex this year is perfect. Both superstars actually get hurt, instead of the person doing it just popping right up

One thing I still don't like, is that I see they kept those damn "sliders" for CAW. I mean, it's good, but it's pretty damn hard when you're trying to follow a formula, and it says like 16...and the slider keeps going between 15, and 17. (not that it's a big difference but it some cases it helps) It needs some kind of 'click' funtion, like RAW2

woa! Freakishly awesome glitch. Just won WMIX along with the Legend Cage, and decided to do a Hogan 80's vs Bret Hart cage match. For one, it just looks cool as hell. But I kept doing the german suplex from the top of the cage (which is a fucking great addition to the game...the cage moves) and I had Hogan do one to Bret, and now all of a sudden, they're outside the ring and the match is still going on! And it's not like a glitch, where were walking through the crowd or anything like that, but it's still functioning like a normal match. And I don't know why, but it's just cool fighting all throughout the WMIX arena with the legends cage still on the ring. Doubt there's any way the match'll end though.. ....Nevermind. As soon as I typed that I just ran right into the ring. *shrug* edit..again- I found it happens when I do the German suplex off the cage in "slow motion". (Aka pause, and unpause >_>)

Definitely. While yea, there are flaws, it's leagues above the others. (even if only for exhibition title matches >_>) And also the graphics are unbelievable. A lot of people say they don't care about graphics, but whatever, I do, and they're amazing.

Ratings are determined by popularity (And I think) "Overall". It has nothing to do with what actually goes on in the match I'm pretty sure. You could have a 25 minute match, or a match where you hit the person with a weapon and end it in 10 seconds, and they both could still be 2.5 stars... edit- Oh, and I think I saw it somewhere in the thread already, but this year, does the computer always seem to get up when you go for a diving special? Because I don't think it's just me, but I can never seem to get Eddie, or RVD to hit a frog splash perfect...unless it's a multi person match and someone knocks the person out just before I do it. Otherwise they just start getting up as soon as I leap off.

You know you can do challenges on 2 player right? Just face yourself. (It'll save you the trouble of going through a whole match, just to fail). And basically..you just hit R2 when the little symbol gets in the blue area. It gets in that area at like 1 1/2 seconds...just time it right and it'll get done. (It doesn't matter whether you hit R2 or L2). When you hit the button doesn't the icon stop? Or are you just really late all the time...?

Well, maybe it's just me, but I thought the obvious choice the WWE would with was Eddie Guererro. Just because of the current storylines involving Guererro, and mainly because I don't think they'd "waste" an Orton title win on SD. I believe the next time Orton gets the title, they are going to make it a huge deal. (example: possibly WM) So I don't think they'll be giving it to Orton anytime soon, especially not on a PPV. That, would make Batista a pussy champion. (For lack of a better phrase)

Ditto. Making just ONE is a huge effort for me. I used to make TONS on the old Firepro games (Snes and Saturn), but making a CAW in Smackdown is too involved for me to say, "Hey, I can't wait to get home so I can spend three hours morphing this guy's face!!" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's why (unless you're good) you just find some online. Then in only takes about 1 minute to morph the face. Just look at the formula, then edit, repeat. Yea, it's not the No Mercy CAW system of course, where you could get a similar look of almost any wrestler in less then 5 minutes, but it doesn't take THAT long if you just find a good CAW that you like on the internet. (And now, if you have PS2 online, evidently you can trade CAWs, so you might can just get someone to send some to you)

It looks like HHH/Flair vs Benoit/Batista, so probably pretty recent. I'm thinking it was the recent tour of Australia. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why would they seem pretty recent?...HHH and Flair are currently feuding. If it's the one I think it is, it's from around the time of like NYR's or whenever Batista first began to turn (or turned for that matter)

If they had held up on introducing Lois until Clark was in college her presense would've made much more sense. Of course, that would only be true if Clark went to college in Metropolis instead of the college he goes to now. Come to think of it, Lori Lemaris should've been used instead of Aquaman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah I wish they would of had Clark meet Lois in college too. Cause I really hate the way they would have her stick around. First, they she didn't finishing high school so she can hang around Smallville High. Then she goes to college, gets kicked out and stays with the Kents. Then she goes off to find her sister and that lasts all of one ep before she's back and living with the Kents. I really don't get why they let her stay with them so much. I mean that's not a good way of trying to keep Clarks secret. I would tell that bitch to get her own place and to get to hell of my room. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The perfect way to have done things would've been for Clark to establish his disguise (glasses, slicked back hair, mild-mannered, ect) on his first day of college and then he could've met Lois. That way it's more believable that she won't recognize him when he's Superman, as all she's known is the mild-mannered Clark. Their relationship would be antagonistic through the season, with Lori Lemaris being Clark's love interest. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But that's just way to....'BAM!'. If you get what I mean. Since season 1 it's pretty clear that they've been trying to establish 'Its not exactly Superman'. There's no point in doing all that, with the slicked hair, and glasses etc. It's not like even if she had met him in college with the glasses, and hair, she shouldn't be able to tell that he's Superman. All they have to do is explain the suit has some kind of power that disguises his appearence sort of. The same way they've done memory wipe numerous times, the same thing could technically happen every time he's in costume.

Yea, it's stupid, but evidently they are now going by, 'James & Chad Dick'. Even though they were called the Tolands last week. But they seriously looked like they should be apart of the Juniors division >_>
