The lighting. Edit- so to answer your question, yea, some parts did appear pink. One thing I liked about that was that Hassan didn't back down, or run out of the ring like most people have in these segments, as soon as Taker comes out.

Clearly, they're construing quick fix returns and the "interesting reality contests" as the reasons for the ratings jump, so get ready for them to overuse those to death until the ratings plummet in 3 weeks time once again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Most competitive nights on television? Well...wouldn't that sort of be a reason for the higher ratings, seeing as everythings over...Shows like 24 (I think), NBA, The Inferno, etc have all ended for the time being..so pretty much nothing else is on television now even if one did want to watch something else.

And that's not really a good thing. Some people complain about the ratings for segments like this, and yet they do the same thing. If you don't like the segment getting a good rating, common sense says turn the channel, because you're only making the viewership bigger. (I don't know how the Nielsen thing works or whatever, but you get the point, don't complain that a lot of people are watching..when you're watching too.) Yea, but when's the last time it was a sure thing you were gonna see Trish in the middle of the ring strip down to her bra & panties? It's obvious Trish is no longer "T&A". She doesn't even show off, barring the occasional cleavage. So it's not the same thing.

That doesn't really make sense though, because 90% of the time, fans dont know, beforehand that HHH won't appear on the show. With the exception of the 'fuck it, I'm leaving RAW' a few weeks ago, any time HHH doesn't show up, he just doesn't show up. edit- And seriously, as for the first statement...wtf? "They like looking at women..they're idiots!!" That's just stupid. And no matter how much many of you all love wrestling, the whole "Get these women off my tv, this time should be reserved for two men wrestling" really does just sound stupid. I love wrestling as much as the next guy, but I'm not gonna cry because HOT (which is up to opinion of course) women are on my tv for 20..on a bad day, possibly 30 minutes, especially when there's still an HOUR an 30 minutes of the precious wrestling that you all love so much. (which is technically like not a full 1hr30mins of wrestling..but of course there's wrestling in that time span)

Well, figured I'd start a thread. Tonight was the first night, and I have to say, already it looks pretty interesting, and a lot more interesting then the likes of Philly or Paris. I sort of like. Plus, Melinda and Jo, DAMN. Although it looks like already..there's way to much happening. I mean 'The Love Story' already? wow.

Matt has a funny way of showing he's on good terms with someone. It's obvious half the stuff he's said, or done over the internet has just been for attention, more then likely, but I don't really consider shooting pictures, or riding over pictures of a person in your car as a sign of 'good terms'...

That's not really true..As someone else in the thread already said, I'm sure the rating doesn't really matter, as it's gonna happen whether it gets a good rating, or a bad rating. And get the same amount of time as it would if it got a bad rating more then likely, so it really doesn't matter. Heck, at times last year (less then I thought they would) the Diva Search was booed..yet they're doing it again. So, as you can tell, it's gonna happen regardless.

All I have to say is damn...it only took 3 days. Danny's a pimp.
