Yea, I noticed this a while ago also. But not so much that they were fast time champions, but that they were 'new'. Mainly when I looked at the Smackdown side, I noticed...damn, these guys haven't even really been with the company 2+ years. Even the WWE Champion. (Yea, he's been there a little more) And with the exception of Trish, that's pretty much true.. And I mean, actually since debuting in WWE, not OVW.

Yes, but more then likely, its those spots (in many cases) that keeps them drawn in, not the wrestling. For example, the Shelton/HBK match, a lot of fans dont' even remember anything about the match, but if you asked them what they thought, they might categorize it as one of the best matches they've seen because of that 'sweet SCM spot'. But not because the match had great chain wrestling, or great ring psychology etc.

I didn't think they took it that seriously either actually. When you look at this year's compared to last years. For one there wasn't nearly as much 'pre-top 12 recaps' like they did tonight. And also, the stage tonight looked just like the stage all season to me pretty much, even if it was in the Kodak theater. But last year it looked really upscale, as well as fantasia getting the huge pyro show and everything. But Carrie did at least get confetti.

Well, like HTQ said, it might have been 2000 that most refer to. But I'm pretty sure in most cases I've seen, most refer to the Attitude era as one of the best times/most exciting times, and that's like 98-99? Don't believe 2000 was included

Well, that sucks. Although I said I kind of wanted Bo to lose, that really does suck..

But it did somehow translate into what smarks who pretty much hate the product now call 'the Good ol days'. Which confuses me, because like you said, most of it was crap, a lot more then now at least, and yet people praise this era. There were a lot of rough spots, of course with high spots, like Austin storylines, Rock storylines, etc. but then you look at the rest of the card during these same times and its like WTF?

I know it's not network TV, but aren't you the one that always pimps the Real World/Road Rules things? That led me to believe that you were relatively a fan of "reality" tv. He's made it clear in most threads that he despises reality TV, most notably in the American Idol thread, and from what I remember the main reason was that it takes away valueable jobs, and tv time from 'aspiring writers' and writers themselves. Even though it seems he is a fan of RR/RW, odd >_>.

Sort of hoping Bo loses, even though I want him to win. Did you hear the two original songs? They weren't that good at all, especially with his style, although he did work it out. I agree with Randy. I'd rather see what producers come up with specifically for him.

Well...that's not a good sign. And yea, it really was a waste of a battle royal. But then again, a WWE title match next week, I don't think is really something I want to see.

Although I'm not a big HHH fan at all, this doesn't seem like it can be attributed to him. If anything, it makes all the jokes with 'Triple H thinking good ratings are because of him' true. I mean, RAW's been getting good ratings right? He says he's leaving, then people watch, to see what happens I guess, and what do you know, ,HHH isn't there. So they figure HHH won't be there next week either, and just don't watch. Maybe HHH does have a bigger fanbase then we thought? (Although some finales and stuff probaly had to do with it too) But once again, don't think it's HHH's fault. If the show had a good rating, and the overrun had a really low rating, then that could be said, but as it stands, it only makes HHH look better..

Did you not see him get his ass beat? How was he in the condition to use, or even announce that he was going to use it? He was pretty much out after the powerbomb. With the 'fantasy booking' people have been doing, with him taking Batista out with a weapon, and then using the shot, it made sense, but with what happened tonight, it would have made no sense for him to use the title shot. Hell..he couldn't.
