Not liking the way this one is turning out at all. I was excited when it was first announced, but it just isn't living up to what a next gen game should be IMO. For one, a 20 man roster? How is it, that the last game, that was on a last gen console had 60? Not only that but it came with mini games as well, which don't seem to be included this time around. And even if there's less people because the character models are better (Other then the fact they get ripped up, they don't seem that much better) still, from 60 to 20? That's a huge jump. Especially considering they've added a whole other universe....which should have opened up even more character options for them. I made a joke the other day there was no need for me to get this, since the CAS on Soul Calibur was so good, but it's the truth. I've already created more DC characters, then there are characters included in this game. (Unless they're announcing more then 20). Some of them more accurate. When was the last time Catwoman wore purple? It seems a step back from the previous games. And they weren't even THAT good. (Well, Deception at least, never played Armageddon.) Hopefully someone else I know will get this, so I can borrow it, just to play Konquest. But I doubt I'll be picking this one up. Just noticed if the last DC character does turn out to be WW, there will only be 1 1/2 DC villians..

Oh, what the hell. I was also liking how well Cody/Ted were doing earlier in the match, looking like a real tag team. HBK thinks to himself "Wasn't I in that same position once before?"

I'm half expecting a double pin. The only thing is, if there's a triple threat at SS, what would Kane/HBK do? Although there's still a week to enter them into matches.

It sort of takes a little bit of luster away, when he's reading from a sheet. It fits with the gimmick I suppose, but not something I'm used to, so, it's just, not cool.

Alright after playing this for a while, I have to say this is a pretty damn fun game. The CAS is awesome. There aren't even really THAT many pieces to choose from (actually there kind of are) but the fact you can change the color to whatever you see fit, makes pretty much anything possible. I've got some pretty good replicas of most of the DC Universe. In a pretty interesting event, playing as Superman earlier, I got match up against a Batman, which I thought was pretty funny. I do have to say, the fuckin online sucks. Seriously, out of a little over 20 matches, I've faced pretty much all Kilik's. I've faced 2 Cervantes, and that Batman, and the rest Kilik's. And that's it. And most of them, I can't do shit against. They spam that damn forward Y combo or whatever it is, which I suppose you can could sidestep to get away from, that is if you can get up, but then they start with the repeated horizontal attack. It's just really f'n annoying. I'm never going to get better at this game, (well I'll have to just use training I guess) because eventually, I'm down and then I have to resort to spamming. And I use Yun-seong, who's reach isn't nearly as far. I don't know, I'm just venting, but it seems I've either got someone just using Kilik's damn forward attack, or I'm facing some Lvl 90 fucker who teleports all over the ring with Cervantes. I've found no in between.

So I'm playing the Madden demo, and I have to say the graphical update is amazing. But I don't know how much I'm like this "Your own personal difficulty" thing. The Madden Test wasn't that hard, a lot of fairly simple button presses...I then start the game, and proceed to get my ass whupped. I don't know if it's the difficulty setting, but I've had a large percentage of dropped passes, where no one's near the receiver at all. The ball will just fly right through his hands, or bounce off of him which is getting pretty annoying.

I loved the almost teared up, pissed off face Edge was making there. It help make the promo. And that did look like a pretty unfriendly fall on his leg, but hopefully nothing to serious.

Wow, wasn't even aware it was my pick. Anyways, i've already taken Infinite Crisis, so I might as well take the follow up too 52 Was a pretty great story, it took some fairly useless characters and made them pretty worthwhile characters in the DC Universe. Plus, it was pretty cool there being a new issue each week, along with backstories of all the current heroes at the end of the book. And also Superman/Batman A lot of great stories involving DC's greatest heroes. My main reason for picking this is Supergirl's origin retell, which was drawn by Michael Turner and I thought looked amazing. I'm gonna need some artistic inspiration when I'm drawing in the sand.

Nice fakeout by Julie there, calling out Jessie's name first. Sure both his and Angie's heart stopped for a second there. And interesting competition. But I mean with the earthquake theme set, that means that had to have just made this structure this week I believe. That's actually kind of interesting...and pretty cool. And pretty fast. But they are on a studio or something aren't they? So I guess it wouldn't be hard to come up with set pieces like that. And man I hate endurance comps. Because I have to wait til later to find out who the HOH will be.

You know, it's amazing how incredibly fucked up that group is now. Sue was raped, and is now dead, along with Ralph, Beetle was shot in the head, Captain Atom became Monarch and tried to kill everyone, Mary Marvel went evil, although I think she's better now, can't remember, Bea...I was about to say was pretty much non-existent, but I think she's a big part of Checkmate which I don't read, so maybe she is doing something worthwhile, and Booster, even though he's saving the world is living a pretty horrible life, trapped in a timesphere, while repeatedly trying to bring Ted back without consequence. Needless to say that JLI had quite the group of characters.

I prefer it that way anyways. Didn't particularly like the TPB format in some cases, as say what if everyone had decided to take a volume of Ultimate Spider-man for the round. That sort of defeats the purpose of a draft. Of course there are some cases, like I can't see anyone fairly getting "Action Comics" or any 400+ issue series, but in most (recent) cases you might as well take the whole run.

That fall looked pretty brutal. And damn that looked like an arm break. If it wasn't I know that hurt like hell.

I laugh at that sorry excuse for a competition. and it's amazing, that Keesha won by essentially being the weakest player.

Don't forget to PM folks. For my next pick, I take the 'Ion Saga' Part 1, aka the first time Kyle Rayner became Ion. (I'm not 100% positive) but I think it's issues 139 through 149 of Green Lantern. It's quite possibly my favorite story, involving my favorite hero ever. The guy I like, obtaining a Godlike power that dwarfed even that of Superman? Awesome. And I'll always love the scene of him ending a war, while in a press conference, talking about ending a war. And I'm assuming I can't just take "Young Justice"? As as far as I'm aware that weren't really any TPB collected story arcs from that. Or if they were it was just a one shot issue like 'Sins of Youth'. But if not, I'm just going to go ahead with Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day Just to get my fix of both, as I loved Young Justice. And this in the long run was their 'coming of age' tale so to speak. It's what transitioned majority of the team from YJ to Teen Titan, and who doesn't enjoy seeing Donny Troy get killed? And yea, obviously I'm a big DC fan and have only read fairly recent stories >_>.

Oh, wow. And I have to say that idea crossed my mind earlier. And that was a shitty announcement, did mention anything to do with the World title at all.
