Ah, two very interesting, and very good IMO martial artists type picks there. I stopped reading Marvel after Civil War, so I haven't really seen Ronin in action, but he used to be one of my favorites as Hawkeye when I was a kid.
-
Well after reading a lot of the info from there/stories from other sites, that really turns me off from wanting to buy it.
-
That picture looks like David Bowie in Labyrinth. And I've never read it, or even heard much about it for that matter so whether he's a superhero I can't say. As far as I'm concerned though, he is from comics, (or a graphic novel or whatever is) so that's fine with me..

The next guy I've chosen was the sole reason for "World War 3" in the DC Universe. He showed when angered enough, he could take down most of the DC heroes all by himself. Black Adam Essentially, he is gifted with six attributes of particular gods who are exemplars of them. He is as strong, fast, durable, powerful, knowing, and as possessed of inner strength as six gods who are pinnacles of those qualities. These powers are both magical and divine in nature. They are magical insofar as it was the Wizard Shazam who originally provided the link to the gods who empower Black Adam, but the powers themselves come directly from the six gods who lend their puissance to him

Pics aren't showing up for me. First one's a tripod logo, nvmind second one showed up.

Apparently not. They're not requiring you to validate the game every 10 days, which was a really bad idea. But it does still throw SecuROM on your system as copy protection. What exactly is Securom? I remember reading some complaints, but since I never really played PC games, didn't really care to read up on it more. And even reading the wiki on it right now, I'm still not sure what the exact problem it causes is.

Alright, well just this week, this guy created a teleporter that transported across multiple galaxies....buy using a pile of scraps in Salvation run. And considering just how well he and Superman know each other, if they ever were working together...with his intelligence and Supes power...My second pick is, former president and mad scientist (how many people can say that): Lex Luthor. Lex Luthor may be one of the most gifted men alive. He is also a sociopath without regard for the pain or suffering of others. Lex appeared in Metropolis and built his technology company, Lexcorp. The company grew by leaps and bounds. With financial success comes political power and soon Luthor was considered to be the most powerful man in Metropolis

God damnit. That was my first round pick. Even as far as choosing Ion. (Although I preferred the white suit version) But I couldn't pass up Supes. Kyle Rayner being my number 1 hero ever...Yea, I got into comics in the 90s obviously. I knew he wouldn't make it back. Considering he was name dropped in this thread about 3 or 4 times lol. But it seemed so close. Edit- And a mod changed the list to pictures, so it'll take a little bit longer to update the list. (Not by much, but now it's more then just writing in the name.) So you might have to look at the last page of the thread see the last few picks. I'll add pics for the recent ones in a few.

Nah, that's cool. Changed it with a picture from Wikipedia, so that should work. I didn't know it was a banner, because I could still see the picture.

I really like that pick. As I actually forgot all about him. For some reason whenever I think of superheroes, Captain Marvel rarely ever comes to mind. (even though he's one of the more powerful) And also, on behalf of Nate, for his second pick in the draft: Cyclops Cyclops produces powerful "optic blasts" from his eyes, forcing him to wear specialized glasses at all times and a specialized visor in combat. His powers may have led to his inhibited, meticulous character. These same qualities, however, have made him an ideal leader for the X-Men. (Unlike myself, >_> Nate actually has a job, as to why I've posted for him so far.)

They show up for me..

KG just confirmed...he knocked the bully's ass out.
-
Lol @ the guy walking around the back giving interviews in a raincoat.
-
The same as the others, the next person immediately becomes eligible to pick. The person that missed can make it whenever.
-
That's what that was? I thought it was my cable. Ok I'm as happy as anyone to see LA go down in flames, but when you're up by 40 points with a minute to go is an alley oop reverse dunk really needed? No, but it's still a really nice highlight to have. and that is way to nice of a suit to be covered in Gatorade. Garnett's got the Holy Ghost.

Yea, gotta love the constant muting of the sound every time the cameras anywhere near the Boston bench.
-
Well they all must be starting to catch up...mine just died a few minutes ago . Just as I order shit off ebay. Damnit. I called the Xbox number though, and went through that process easily enough, and now have to wait for the box and the repair. For anyone who's done this before, I think he said something about having to put the number he gave me at the end on the shipping box somewhere or something? Is this the case?
-
It works now. And it's Michael Turner! Which is always good. (Even though I know most hate him)
-
Yea, definitely. What I had planned for my first pick, I thought would fall back to me, but now I'm not so sure. Didn't really realize how many picks I had in between my first and second one.

HUGE Bump. But I figured with the Creature Creator recently being released, and there just being a few months until release, that it was warranted. I can't be the only one here who's fooled around with this and found it to be insanely fun. There's only like 20 options available, and yet still, nothing I've seen posted online has been alike. Which means once all options are available the in game world will be ridiculously huge. Lost a lot of what I've made as I didn't take pictures, but just a few of the ones I did:
-
I can't see it either. Some of my pics were doing the same as well though, and I had to change them. Possibly he used the same site.

It's not that complex, but, it'd be like someone in the wrestling draft taking both The Rock and HHH with one pick, because maybe they teamed together that one time in 01 or something. But since you've changed your pick, it doesn't really matter at this point. And to answer the Venom question, this eliminates Venom completely. This includes Gargan, and Brock, or whoever else has worn the suit. As like said, the Venom character usually overrides those personalities.
-
Yea, but then that's essentially taking two picks off the board with one. As The Punisher is a well known hero on his own. When you referring to the one shot characters, I thought you meant something like, I don't know, rainbow kryptonite homo Superman or something. Don't really think it's fair to combine more the one pick, as for all I know there's a Wolverine/Spiderman/Superman merge out there. (Just to name picks already taken.) So sorry to make you change your pick on the fly, but from this point on, no 'amalgated characters' has been added to the rules, since it just seems unfair.
-
Eh, that is kind of confusing. (I wasn't expecting that). Just seems kind of cheap in a way, but I also did say you could do it. I mean what his name even? Is it still The Punisher? But since it's Frank Castle, and not Eddie Brock under the mask, I'd say that eliminates Punisher from the draft, not Eddie Brock/Venom. I don't see how so. I had villians in mind to pick as well.

Selecting on behalf of Nate: The One and Only, Amazing Spider-man. During a science experiment dealing with radioactive isotopes, Peter was bitten by a spider bathed in the radiation. The bite gave Peter the proportional strength and agility of the spider. Peter was also able to cling to any surface and even developed a "spider sense" which warned him of danger And with great power comes great responsibility, as well as one of Marvel's top heroes ever.
