Yea, navigating from one area to another is a bitch in the beginning. Luckily, when you do discovering something you can just teleport back and forth at your leisure which is a godsend. I think the amount of time between me getting the quest, and me actually getting to the Washington monument/Museum was about 10 hours. Because eventually I said screw it and started exploring. I hate the Metro tunnel, because you can't just port back to town when you're hurt. Plus, it's scary.

It's actually not super in-depth. It's more just mixing moves already in the game together, or being able to string multiple moves as one move. It's only front grapples as well. A quick youtube search shows some of the latest made ones. Now I'm not saying anything bad about the mode, I've had fun with it, and made some sweet finishers (Although damnit I wish I could do a package piledriver, instead I had to settle for a package powerbomb type deal) But don't go into expecting to make your own Phoenix Splash or something crazy like that. Chances are, your finisher will be a variation of a piledriver, powerbomb, or backbreaker, or a combination of all 3. I did give HHH a new Pedigree though, as I like the CAF pedigree animation better then the ones in the game.

Man, that hate I exhibited last week for Nick and Starr, has pretty much become respect, for the way they're straight up dominating this race. It will almost be a disappointment if they don't win after all of this.. Frat guys were definitely the most annoying team this week. I mean, Dan was a total spaz about it, but Andrew knew they sucked with directions and wasted an assload of time trying to figure out where they were, and when they do he wants to walk as slow as possible? I understand he's no small dude, but he really didn't look like he was trying. Glad to see Terrance and Sarah go though, especially after his pussying at the Fast forward.

So, is Nate Kaeding a good kicker? (I mean stat-wise)...Because I swear, every time I happen to see the guy kick, he never makes it.

Oh, so if you do it once you get unlimited points, but to get the special abilities you need to get the downloadable patch? That's not so bad. Nevermind, I think I just missed the beginning of the convo. But what I'm wondering is if you have already completed career, will it register when the patch comes out, or if you will have to do one more time.

Man, harsh critics this season. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode and liked how everything tied back to season 1, from the train derail, to the car accident, etc. Gave a little more insight into some of the things going on this season. Especially the stuff surrounding Arthur, but I guess I'm just easily pleased.

So how do the submissions work? Can anyone actually submit anymore? (seems like a stupid question, but given there were only about eight moves that could get a submission in 08, I wouldn't be surprised). Yes, people can submit, but only if you have the submission ability. Unless the submission is your finisher, then anyone can make people tap out with that. I personally don't mind it, as the struggle submissions usually only last about a second or 2 anyways before the lock is picked, or you have to let go. Plus I prefer the ground attacks, as they're quicker.

Oh I know it's about timing. As I said, I'm rather good at it offline. But like Fazzle pointed out there's lag, and even though I hit it at what would be the correct time offline, it doesn't register, and I just can't seem to get the timing down. But when you're not online, you have to reverse just as it's about to hit you, so maybe I'm doing it too late, and need to hit as soon as they throw the punch instead like you said. And yea, I really wish like Madden and other sports games, there was a menu where you could select which songs play. And that every theme was available. I mean, who doesn't want to hear Murdoch's theme every time they turn the game on?

Was it just me, or did Rey look like he was TRYING to get hurt. Every landing looked awkward, and I had to cringe a few times. Hell of a slap by Cody there.

Yup. It plays the first track in the playlist. I don't see how they can botch a feature that's built-in to the console, but this is twice. Reading the reviews, and I may just wait until the price drops. It's sounding like a barely souped-up '08. I agree about the music, that doesn't make much sense....but it is Yukes and their freaking lazy. Though honestly, I think 09 is really damn good and it's so much better than 08. I played 08 for maybe 2 hours and after that I ended up taking it back the same day. I really didn't even finish my CAS that's how much I didn't like it. But I played 09 for about 5 hours straight last night. It's a vast improvement over 08. Yea, as said it feels a lot better then 08, and more then just 'barely souped up'. There's a lot of little details they focused on too, that people don't' really take the time to notice/mention. For instance, the ref actually talking back to you when you argue with him, and evidently asking does the opponent give up, when you have them in a submission. There's a lot, of new animations. They say this every year, but then it always feels like they added a few new moves, and took a bunch out, but that seems completely different this year. Much of the animations have changed, for the better, from the simple stuff like the way you drag someone, the over the rope animation, the HIAC moves, including the fall through the cage. (And I remember seeing an animation where the opponent went off the cage through the table in previews, but I haven't been able to do it yet). Then of course the new moves for the new superstars, love Kofi's moveset...his leg drop, and his corner attack. Not to mention the change for older superstars, like Orton, who's gotten a complete overhaul....and I've seen nothing but new taunts pretty much. Festus actually does his little thing at the beginning of the match! I'm definitely loving what I've seen so far. But one thing I have to ask, are there people who use those modded/rapid fire controllers, or are some people just insanely good at reversing online? Because that shit is ridiculous. In the few matches I've played, I've barely been able to hit anything. Now I consider myself someone who's good at the game, and playing against the computer, or with friends, I'm that way where I can reverse majority of moves, but there's no way online, it lags so the timings completely different and I'm confused to all hell as far as reversing goes. And yet my opponents always seems to know whether I'm going to attack, or grapple. Pisses me off. But that's just my rant for the moment, going back to start on Jericho's RTWM. edit- One more question, at the intro screen, do the same few themes play for everyone else too? It seems to cycle through Punk, Jericho, Taker, Cena, HHH, etc. but it never plays Kofi's, Londrick's, Jesse/Festus', etc, which kind of sucks.

I agree. And it fits his heel persona better then his real one, IMO.

(rhetorical) And the bad thing is, they're not even my most hated team, seeing as Ken & Tina, and Terence & Sarah are horrible. Terence is at least. And the frat guys, and the divorcees I don't necessarily hate, but they're so bad at the race I really have no good opinions on them at all. edit-Highlight of this episode is the dude checking the numbers . And watching some of the contestants get pelted with the paint.

Speaking on long moves, can you interrupt a character while he is in a move animation? I believe I saw it done a few times during the demo. Not an actual move animation...like a grapple or something. So if Kane's doing a chokeslam to someone you can't stop it I don't believe. but certain moves, like earlier as Jericho, I did a springboard lionsault. (the one where you just stand next to the ropes and input the command) and he punched me in mid-air to stop it. Hmm...and as far as the metric system goes, seems I've got that same problem as well. Inferno match is Celsius, Height is measured in cm, etc.

If it's like last years, you have to put the song into it's own user playlist (through the Xbox Guide), then when you go to create the entrance, the first selection in music should be user playlist, and then from there you can select the "song" aka, playlist.

There's dueling chants! In my second match, I was surprisingly greeted by "Y2J!, Let's go Punk!" And just to save anyone else the trouble, seems the game doesn't come out til the 11th at Toys R Us if anyone planned on going there. Best Buy too I believe. At least mine. Had to go to both, before finally finding it at Wal-Mart.
