I'll look for some other matches that Bob might have missed.
-
Velocity and Heat should be separate. There should be a 2002 Velocity tape/DVD, 2002 Heat tape/DVD, 2003 Velocity tape/DVD, etc. That's how I would do it.
-
Yeah, the Heat list would be cool Bob, if it's not too much bother. ISJ, that would be great, and would, of course, make my job a hell of a lot easier. I'll try and get the rest of the stuff you don't have.
-
Thanks for the info, man. How long were the matches?
-
HOLLA~!
-
Taker got DQed. That is his problem. Hassan ran away. His fault. Doesn't change the fact that Benoit, Christian and Book all lasted longer than Taker and Hassan. It's stupid.
-
How are Hassan and Taker in a number one contenders match at GAB, when Benoit, Book and Christian all lasted longer than them in the contenders match last week?
-
They aren't complete matches though, surely?

Give me reasons to hate Shawn Michaels.
Dark Age replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
No, he really hasn't. What don't you understand? Shawn JOBBED to Benoit twice, yes. Putting him over is a different thing. THIS HAS BEEN STATED NUMEROUS TIMES! Understand it. I'll give you the Backlash job, though. The second Raw match, however, didn't put Benoit over at all. Shawn had the match won before Trips' run-in, and what did the aftermatch focus on? Yep, Triple H has cost Shawn Michaels the world title. That's all. See, I disagree with that. Name a low-card guy Jericho had jobbed to on PPV, leading to WM? He jobbed to Flair at the previous SummerSlam, and Cena at Vengeance. Flair was still an upper carder, while Cena was being prepared for that (the Vengeance job was a terrible decision, though). After that, he had wins over Flair and Hardy in his two singles PPV matches, had a good showing in before the Chamber and the Rumble, and jobbed to Book (I think) in the Armageddon 4-way. The WrestleMania match WOULD, COULD and SHOULD have elevated Jericho. It didn't, because it was made clear that Shawn Michaels was better than Chris Jericho. A guy with just 5 matches in 5 years, who had just been beaten by Triple H, beat a supposed main eventer. Jericho looked like shit. I agree, Jericho jobbing to Cena at Vengeance02 was awful. It shouldn't have happened. That doesn't change the fact that Jericho jobbing to Shawn was awful, too. They don't cancel each other out. He got that win back (on PPV). That doesn't make it right, but it's more than what happened with Shawn. The difference is, though, that WrestleMania was Jericho's match. Nobody cared about the Flair match. Winning it wouldn't (and didn't) elevate Jericho one bit, but beating Shawn at Mania could have. Nah, that ended in a DQ win for Shawn (or maybe a no contest) when Batista interfered. Actually, I think Shawn was preparing for SCM when Dave came out, so he might have had that match won, too. Not really. I'm not going to argue that right now, because I'm not even sure which side I'm on, but I don't think I would completely agree. I can't work out whether you're referring to the characters of Jericho and Shawn (like, Shawn's higher on the card, so he's a better wrestler) or their actual ability. If it is their ability you're talking about, then you're a fool. Jericho outworked Shawn at Mania. No question. Again, not really. Jericho isn't great right now, but neither is Shawn. So at Mania, Jericho tested himself and lost. Came so so close. Great match. Way it should've ended. Is HHH, Undertaker, or JBL still breathing and wrestling? Then Jericho, RVD, and Booker T will probably not be main eventing or holding world titles anytime soon. Had the Wrestlemania had Jericho winning he would had to have cheated and then people would have said he didn't put Jericho over. I stopped caring about who wins in a rigged contest (except when HHH or JBL win.) I want to see a good match. -
Like I said, I'm down for doing this. Could take a while to get all the matches I need, but I'll do it.
-
Paul London and Billy Kidman Vs. Tajiri and Akio Like I said, it's poor quality, but whatever. And I am definitely down for making the comp(s) if there is enough interest.
-
Yeah, I wanna see those matches. I remember they had one at the end of 02/ start of 03 and it was really good. I've got Tajiri and Akio vs. London and Kidman on here, but it's pretty bad quality.
-
Vengeance being in June has threw me off. I keep thinking SummerSlam's about 2 weeks away.
-
Much appreciated Bob. Damn, that was a really fun match. If only they had 17 minutes, instead of 7. Still, it was longer than I thought it would be. Shannon wasn't great (but wasn't bad, either), but London and Spank just ruled it. Great offense from London at the end. Some really neat false finishes and nearfalls. Just great fun. Love it.
-
So, would anyone actually be interested if I made a comp with some of this stuff? I'm looking up some dates now, so the more info on these matches, the better. Anyone remember these, and, if so, how are they?: April 12, 2003 - Nunzio, Chuck Palumbo, and Johnny Stamboli vs. Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero, and Sho Funaki July 19, 2003 - Chuck Palumbo and Johnny Stamboli vs. Sho Funaki and Brian Kendrick August 2, 2003 - Matt Hardy vs. Brian Kendrick August 9, 2003 - World Tag Team Champions Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin vs. Brian Kendrick and Sho Funaki September 13, 2003 - Jamie Noble vs. Chris Kanyon November 8, 2003 - Brian Kendrick and Paul London vs. Shannon Moore and Kanyon December 20, 2003 - Cruiserweight Champion Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Paul London Johnny Stamboli vs. Brian Kendrick Billy Kidman and Ultimo Dragon vs. Akio and Sekoda They all caught my eye.
-
I don't think these are actual releases. They've been listed for a while now, and there's been no updates. Probably just a mistake.
-
Doug Basham Vs. Mark Jindrak That SHOULD work. I encourage everyone to check it out.
-
I know the match you're talking about, but I can't really remember it. However, theor match in Japan was really solid, and got shit on for no real reason at all. Good, focused offense from Tomko and some darn good selling from Orton, plus a nice finish that made sense. Enjoyable match. I enjoyed the Kanyon/OJ stuff. Someone else was pimping OJ/Jindrak recently, so I need to see that. The Cade/Venis stuff was cool. I think they had a match on international Heat that very few saw, so you would probably enjoy that tekcop. Didn't they clip the hell out of RVD/Lynn? Oh, and I think I have the Basham/Jindrak match here, so I'll have a look.

Brian Gewirtz leaves WWE writing team
Dark Age replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
The cycle stuff is such a load of crap. If the writing is good enough, if there are interesting characters, etc then people will tune in. It's just that they've never really had that for a sustained amount of time. Hence the cycle bullshit. -
Triple H beating Jericho at Fully Loaded.
-
That's cool. It's better than what they usually do. There's soooo much they can do with Eddie/Rey. They should have went with Eddie and Chavo vs. London and Rey at GAB, and had Chavo pin Rey or Eddie pin London. That way, Eddie goes over, but he STILL can't beat Rey.
-
Yes, Noble/Rey and Noble/London was the shit. I'm not too fond of the second Noble/London match. It is pretty good and all, but it's just kinda my cock is tiny. Rey had some sweet matches with, I think, Kanyon and Nunzio on Velocity. They're worth checking out. And the 6 man with Rey, Kidman and Ultimo vs. FBI from the same time is good too.
-
They should go with: Batista/JBL Eddie/Rey Taker/Hassan Benoit/Regal Book/Christian OJ/Doug London and two guys/Mexicools MNM/Haas and Holly That's what I would like, and it's pretty realistic, I guess. The actual card will have Heidenreich challenge MNM with a "friend", but Haas and Holly would be better.
-
Or they should just forget this awful twist ever happened. Did they steal this off the Flintstones?
-
That's a great idea Exslade ZX!
