Just to score a hat-trick, I really, really think that Eddy~!/Rey is going to be the (company) MOTY to date. It's **** or bust really. I don't think anything this year has hit the magical **** mark, but this has a real chance. They're up against themselves, really. I think Angle/Rey 02/05 and Angle/Eddie 04/05 are, thus far, the two best matches this year. If Eddie and Rey can produce the goods in 20 minute TV matches with Kurt Angle, with little to no hype going in, SURELY they can deliver in this environment. They've got me real excited for this match, so they need to live up to expectations. EDDY~!

I actually think this is going to shock a few people. I'd be lying if I said the Eddy~!/Rey stuff hasn't gotten me excited. I mean, I'm still against the turn and all, seen as Eddie was the most over face in the company, but, at the same time, he's such an awesome heel that I find myself accepting it more and more as each day passes. I'd expect their rivalry to add quite a few buys to this. Eddy~!'s promo two weeks ago was a real winner. JBL and Cena have cut some great interviews, too, so I think they'll get some buys. I HOPE this show kills Backlash.

I understand that London/Chavo has yet to be confirmed, while Heidenreich/OJ and the tag title match have. I am getting worried that London/Chavo will not be confirmed at all, and won't take place. That's quite sad, really. Anyway, PREDICTIONS~! Cena Eddy~! Booker London (if it happens) Big Show MNM OJ I was going to say a lot more, but there's no real point, so whatever.

Was it ever planned for Damaja to actually be in the Rumble, or was it merely a plot device to further the Revolution stuff? Also, does anyone know if the 2002 Six Flags events are available anywhere? I've seen the 2003 events being sold, but not 02. Are any of the Six Flags matches shown on the August/September 02 TV shows, as I've heard they are?

I wanted them to make that mistake again, mainly because this whole thing *IS* a mistake. Turning your most over face heel = mistake. No matter how awesome heel Eddie is.

It would be great to see Triple H keep challenging for the 17th title reign, and Flair accidently costing him the match every time, until H finally catches on. Cue last big face run for Flair. Wouldn't this kinda make Flair the heel?

Eddie is/was more over than Cena. Look no further than the 6 man tag team match a few weeks before Mania for the most glaring example of this.

I love how you skip most of what I said, in contrast to how I argued every one of your points. I don't care how respected they are. DEAN is great, that I will give ya, and Phil has some decent thoughts from time to time. However, it was he who declared Mark Henry as the best "worker" on Raw. Trust me when I tell you, if I see a good match, I'll recognize it. Whether it involves Chris Benoit, Undertaker, John Cena, Mark Henry or Eddie Guerrero. Whether it is a cruiserweight match, a heavyweight match, a hard hitting brawl, a technical exhibition. If it's good, I'll give it the credit that it's due. If it sucks, I'm going to tell you it sucks. Mark Henry pulling a "few decent matches out of his ass" doesn't make him the best "worker" now, does it? Argue all you want that Henry had improved. Heck, go watch the Eddie/Angle match from a couple of weeks ago, when there was all kinds of throwbacks to their past bouts, like Kurt kicking out of the small package that Eddie used at WM04, and Kurt pulling Eddie's tights, just as Eddie did with Kurt's straps in their 2/3 Falls match. So, as long as somebody works a body part, it's a good match? Gotcha. Angle never works the ankle, which, I guess, is bad? Working over a body part just for THE SAKE of working over a body part means nothing. If you have no particular idea what to DO with said body part, what is the point in focusing on it? There are better ways to show "in-ring psychology" than to simply work over someone's arm for 10 minutes, simply because you can. DO NOT put words into my mouth. You are making all these bizarre assumptions, and it's annoying me. Do not look down on me, as if you are some kind of superior wrestling fan because you understand a damn Undertaker match. Don't try to teach me about selling, and psychology, and "working" when you really don't have a clue. Where have I said this? Where? Point me to it. Because I said Benoit/Lesnar was better? Again, do a search for some past posts of mine, and you'll notice that I value in-ring storytelling more than anything. Better stories = better matches.

Its funny. Like, very very funny. I was just about to make a post asking if you come from DVDVR. The Taker/OJ matches were just NOTHING matches. Match of the week from DVDVR? And? That means WHAT exactly? DVDVR? The same guys who, at one point, declared that Mark Henry, Garrison Cade and Steven Richards were the three best "workers" (as they like to say) on Raw. I'm supposed to take them seriously because.....?

Everyone was pretty much booing Edge by that point. He turned heel on that show, which indicates that he'd been getting booed for a while, and, hence, WWE's desire to turn him.

Benoit/Lesnar. Also, why would you put OJ/Taker on it? Those matches were terrible.

Ok, this gives me hope. Though I'm against the turn, its been done very weel in parts, so it COULD work. I hope/think that they're going to make this a long running angle throughout the summer, eventually leading to Eddie siding with Rey, or re-uniting. That could work. They MYST know, surely, that they can't keep Eddie a heel. It would be cool if they did a story with Eddie slowly turning heel over time. Growing out the mullet, jet black hair, Latino Heat theme, all that stuff. Then a swerve at the last minute, with Eddie staying loyal to Rey.

Eddie turning heel is SUCH a huge mistake. I hope it bombs. I think it will.

They recently announced a From The Vault DVD for Taker, so perhaps this is it. It should be ok if they deal with 96/97.

Well, this one time, some guy tries to kick me, so I whip him up and lock in the motherfuckin' sharpshooter. He fights out of it, though, so I gave him a brainbuster, and it was nuts. Full on, skull on concrete. I gave him a few kicks to the head, before taunting all the kids watching. Then, I climbed to the top of the school and dropped the big fucking leg drop from the top of the damn school! Half of them cheered, half were in disbelief. I then decided, what the fuck, may as well pin him, and I did. I counted my own three count and everyone celebrated, and then I drank beers with Stone Cold.

But one star is a lot. There's a big difference between a *** match and a **** match, a ** match and a *** match, a **** match and a ***** match.
