This whole year is being built to him getting beat at mania by Orton. He should be pretty dominant from now till then. He's basically been on a losing streak since before WM (Exclusing the BB HIAC), he HAS been doing jobs. Now it's time to build towards the big one at Mania. Wow, THREE defeats!!! What a losing streak! Two have been by roll up. Just saying. Orton/Triple H at Mania? HOLD ME BACK! I can't wait for that one. So what they should do now is job everyone to Triple H again? GREAT IDEA. And Triple H wins ANOTHER big feud? Outstanding. And the big pay off is Triple H losing to Orton at Mania? But guess what, he'll get that win back and win the feud a couple of months later. Face it. NO ONE DEFEATS TRIPLE H. Why can't Benoit keep the belt till Mania, then job it to Orton (ugh)? At least it would be better than Yet Another Triple H Title Win wouldn't it? Is the world craving Triple H vs Orton? You're letting your love of Triple H get in the way of the fact that Triple H getting the title back is not good for business.

Well, the man's been in the company since 1999 (1998, but it was December) and has had all of two good matches, a year and a half apart, with the last good match being over three years ago. It's not like it's unwarranted. What was that match? Shane was one, but I can't think of any in 2001. Eddie at Mania? Maybe Edge at SSeries?

Ahh, the old 'it'll mean more when he finally loses' argument. That's all well and good, but when Benoit won the belt, we'd been waiting for nearly TWO YEARS! I'm not doubting Triple H is a great heel. I have no problem seeing him in the upper mid card/main event scene, but WHY does he need the title? He doesn't. There's nothing to be gained from it. Trips is over enough, he's established and he's a big enough name. He shouldn't need to dominate the title scene. Tell me, you say how great it was when he finally lost to Benoit. Yeah, okay. But it means nothing if he's getting the belt back a few months later, which he likely is. Again, it's just amother guy who Triple H has beaten, shut up and shown they aren't in his league. He NEEDS to lose to Benoit at Slam so that we have closure at 3-0 to Benoit. It would put Benoit over the top as a monster face who has destroyed Triple H, it would get H away from the title, and it would mean you have TWO big names on Raw who are credible (Benoit and Triple H).

He also busted out a gutwrench into a neckbreaker at Bad Blood. Oh, and Maven took that DDT as well.

So in other words, you don't have a reason? You just thought you would be cool by bashing Rocky for no real reason, and would base it on unknown facts. What a quality poster you are.

Triple H shouldn't be scared of Benoit. He should be worried about facing him. He should show signs that Benoit has his number. That's the point. No one expects Triple H to run away as if he's seen a ghost.

Why does it HAVE to be RVD? Kane is better in the long run. Why does it HAVE to be Kane? He's dead as a main eventer, but Shawn is having awesome matches, so it can be him. Why does it HAVE to be Shawn? He's a part time worker. Anyway, Steiner is the guy they're gonna build Raw around this year. Why does it HAVE to be Steiner? He sucks, and Booker winning the title at Mania is MONEY! Why does it HAVE to be Booker? He's 40, and he's got back problems. Kevin Nash will bring in ratings because he's a big name making his return, he'll be better because Triple H can carry him to a good match. Why does it HAVE to be Nash? He sucks, and he's old. Goldberg is THE MAN! Why does it HAVE to be Goldberg? He's leaving soon, and if we put the belt on Shawn, he can give Jericho a rub. Why does it HAVE to be Shawn? He doesn't need the belt, and Benoit will have better matches. Why does it HAVE to be Benoit? Why can't they save that for Orton? Benoit doesn't need that rub at this point. Why does it HAVE to be Orton? He's in his early twenties, he will get a rub just being IN THE RING with Triple H. Edge is the guy FOR RIGHT NOW!

Yeah, I was talking more about Matt's motives. Why would the crowd boo this guy after everything he's went through? I wouldn't.

I pretty much said why in the other Triple H thread, but still: No one has BEATEN Triple H. I don't mean in a match, or in terms of being put over or whatever. I mean that no one has ever gotten one over Triple H. Triple H is a bad guy. Bad guys are supposed to lose at the end of the day. Who has Triple H lost to? At the end of a feud, who is the one left standing? Triple H, that's who. Someone needs to defeat him.

I'm thinking Lita going heel on Matt would be the better option IF they really wanna do a turn.

Benoit NEEDS to win the feud. That's all I have to say on this.

No. Rock, Taker, Hogan and Brock all held the WCW title AS WELL AS the WWE Title, which made up the undisputed title. When Brock stayed on SD, Bischoff took back HIS brand's half of the championship, meaning Brock vacated it/was stripped of it and it was given to Triple H.
