Rock/Jericho was way better.
-
Edge is a lot better than Kennedy.
-
How did you come to that conclusion?
-
This is the wrong attitude to have.
-
Awful.

Yeah, I'm blatantly stealing this from another board. Basically, I want to get an idea of how you people rate matches. So, when was the last **** WWE match? Or ***** if you want to try that. If you want to do some sort of wacky countdown of matches and ratings then feel free. Anyway, last **** match is difficult. I think there's been one this year - EDDIE/REY (SD; not sure of the date, but you know what one I mean). Angle/Shawn I'm not sure about. Last year there was three, maybe four (BROCK/EDDIE, EDDIE/JBL(JD), REY/CHAVO(GAB) and maybe ANGLE/EDDIE(SS)).

Me too.

Man, why didn't they advertise this "Dean eating 20 burgers" thing? They could have got dozens more buys.

That's because nearly everyone they have introduced, in a similar position, has sucked. It's not an accomplishment to be better than Masters, Carlito, Morgan, O'Haire, etc. Like I said, Kennedy's ok with me. He's slightly better in the ring than he's getting credit for, and he's decent on the mic. He could get over. HOWEVER, how the Hell can they consider him for the main event? One month after he's debuted, they get read to push to the top of the card. Screw that. There are better options. Pushing someone new doesn't have to be pushing someone whos's just debuted. How about acutally giving a decent push to Benoit, Eddie, Rey, Jericho, etc or any of the dozens of guys who would look like stars uf they were actually used right. Kenny may look like he has "it", but that's because he's put in a position to look like a star (kinda). I don't know what I'm getting at here, but he shouldn't be near the main event. I love Kennedy's theme music.

What was the real reasoning behind the IC title 02
Dark Age replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
Eh, SmackDown03 produced some really good, underrated, forgotten gems. I can dig that. Also, the 6 weeks following SummerSlam (on SD) were great fun. The rest sucked. -
There's nothing wrong with pushing someone new, it's just that whenever anything even slightly catches on, they think they're on to the next Austin and proceed to shove it down the fans' throats.
-
They are insane. Why do they feel the need to over expose the fuck out of ANYTHING that catches on the tiniest bit? I have no problem with Ken Kennedy, but to even CONSIDER him for a main event position six months after he debuted is lunacy.

What the Hell is that thing flying around the ring during the ONO match between Bret and Taker? I'm watching the Taker DVD now, and I don't see it, but it reminded me to mention this. Wow that thing is big. Is it a bird that managed to get inside, or is the biggest damn moth this world has ever seen? If that's a moth, then I would be gone so fast.

But your point still stands.
-
Ah, but JBL went from drawing 265 with Cena to 233 with Batista.
-
Man, screw that. Rey could so be champ, especially if he beat someone like Eddie, or Benoit, or Angle. I think it was Rudo who originally said this, but if they gave him a killer submission that he could lock on out of nowhere then you could buy him beating anyone.
-
But that would make Batista look like a huge tool for: a) forgiving Eddie and b) actually being friends with Eddie, rather than just playing Eddie's game. Question: Would it be such a bad move to have Eddie go over at SurSer and defend against Rey either at Armageddon or the Rumble? Maybe it's just me, but Eddie and Rey are the two guys that SD should be built around right now.

Vince is going to give Orton a 2nd chance because he's his own experiment...Vince has designs on Orton being one of his franchise players in the future, whether we like it or not. And as a heel, Orton had serious rub it was the stupid face turn that made him out to be pathetic. He's still not recovered yet. As for Guerrero-Batista...here's how I'd book it. Start the match being clean between both...as Batista holds the upper-hand with his 70 pound weight advantage, Guerrero begins cheating here and there. Nothing major but slowly trying to get an unfair edge. At the end...Eddie tries to hit Batista with brass knuckles...Batista grabs them. Before this we have the gratuitous ref bump where the ref is out. The ref comes to just as Batista is holding the knucks and Guerrero pretends to be out. The ref calls for the bell and DQs the Animal. As Batista argues with the ref, Guerrero gets a chair and beats Batista senseless. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But having ANOTHER DQ in the main event would just be stupid.

None of you understood what I meant when I quoted that post.
