Heh, there's a picture on WWE.com from their tour of Italy which sees Brian Kendrick holding a ROH DVD.

I prefer "California" myself. "Vanity Fair" and "The Air Conditioned Nightmare" are excellent tracks and their influence on bands like Incubus and System Of A Down really show. Really "out there" sort of group that I really dig. I like Faith No More better though.

Axl, sure, but I don't think Neil really. I think the two most recognizable vocalists in metal are Hetfield and Ozzy. A lot of bands try to emulate Dickinson's vocal style that when a band who was influenced heavily by Maiden was playing in the background of some store some people might actually think it's Bruce. Not a bad thing, just saying that Dickinson's voice isn't as recognizable as people think. Also, while Bruce definatley owns Halford in terms of singing, I think Halford crushes him in terms of screaming. Bruce can't scream or growl quite like Halford can.

With Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philipe breaking up too, I predict Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are next.

Can somebody tell me who did the original version of "Last Kiss"? I love Pearl Jam's version but can never seem to find who originally sang it (like how it's hard to find the band that originally did "Whiskey In The Jar").

Day Of The Dead was the worse one out of the original trilogy so I'm not looking foward to it to begin with. In fact, all the remakes of the original trilogy have been terrible.

Heh,I remember at the first Taboo Tuesday when the fans had the oppurtunity to pick Jericho's opponent out of the entire Raw roster, I was probably the only idiot that voted for Stevie Richards!

Shitty Comedians > Bad wrestlers, obviously.

The Berlyn gimmick was awesome. I agree, with the right booking, it would have gotten over huge. Berlyn's debut is right up there with Jericho's WWE debut in terms of awesomeness. -
11 - 101 - He's not.

The other four guys will probably be Sabu, Test, Holly, and Dreamer.

I'd like to hear "Fuck The Middle East" and "Kill Yourself".

Terrific film. This and The Departed are gonna make the Oscars very interesting. The movie had everything: Batman, Wolverine, Alfred, King Kong, and one of the best musical artists ever, what more do you want? Not to mention the sexy Scarlett Johannson.

All that build to successfully move Styles, Daniels, and Joe from the X-Division only to shove them back down. Wow.
-
Corey, why the hate for Trivium? They, along with Mastodon are closest things to to true metal in today's mainstream, they have that "old school" feel to them.

I remember about a year and a half ago when I first discovered Wikipedia, I thought it was pretty much the best site ever because anything, ANYTHING I ever wanted to know about was on that site but recently, the more I read it, the less reliable I find it to be. Information changes day by day which confuses people and leaves you to decide what is really true or not. I think it's due to the fact that the site has become so popular that they need more moderators for it.

The chick from Zwan was Paz who is the former bassist for A Perfect Circle.

I own "Primitive" and it's not that bad once you get past the influx of guest musicians on there. There's a cool song with Tom Araya on there called "Terrorist" and the last track "Flyhigh" is pretty cool. But yea, Corey, you probably wouldn't like it cuz it sounds too nu-metal-ish, I haven't heard anything Soulfly since so you should probably check their later stuff out as I heard it gets more into the Sepultura roots.

I can just see the main event now. Cena/Hardy vs K-Fed/Nitro. Oh boy.

I posted this in the movies forum too. Take this with a grain of salt but I saw this on another website: Apparently, VH1 are planning to do another Supergroup, this time featuring Chris Jericho on vocals, Jerry Only from the Misfits on bass, Dave Lombrdo of Slayer on drums, Mick Thompson of Slipknot on guitar, and Mick Mars of Motley Crue on guitar.

The Police were an awesome band. I wish I could say the same for Sting's solo stuff though.

To me, H.I.M. just sounds like a heavier version of The Cure. I like The Cure and all but can't stand this band. Lamb of God are ok, saw them live this past summer with Slayer and they were awesome but haven't heard much from them on record but are decent from what I did hear. Shadows Fall is a band I can't get into but I've been meaning to listen to them again as I shrugged them off on the first listen. Dragonforce sucks. Helloween and Jag Panzer are the power metal kings. And yea, BFMV totally sucked when I saw them with Maiden. Typical emo band only louder. That's all they are. As for today's metal, while it can never touch the great metal band of the 80's, there are some worth looking out for such as Trivium, Mastodon, and 36 Crazyfists.
