Connery: "Wow, two Alex Trebeks. I feel like I'm in a box of Raisen Bran. Two scoops of fruit!" That was from the episode where the real Alex Trebek made an appearance.

You people are insane, this is probably the funniest movie I've seen all year.

Just got back from the Unholy Alliance Tour show in Jersey. Here's the rundown: Band 1: Thine Eyes Bleed Totally sucked. Crowd was completley dead and the stadium wasn't even half filled yet. Oh well, they tried. Band 2: Children Of Bodom Good set. I felt it was a little short though. The keyboardist got a huge pop for some reason when he was soundchecking. Alexi really needs to learn how to speak english too. Set list: Silent Night, Bodom Night (opened) Needled 24/7 Liivng Dead Beat Angels Don't Kill In Your Face Hate Me Downfall (closed) I was pissed that they didn't play Bodom After Midnight. Band 3: Mastodon Not a big Mastodon fan but they put on a pretty good show. The guitarist with the short hair is a crazy guy and I like how the two guitarists and the bassist share the vocals between them. Band 4: Lamb Of God Never listened to LOG before the show but after their set I really want to. Absolutley crazy live. Crowd was way into in the singer had lots of great energy and his voice rocked. I'm definatley gonna check them out. I don't have a complete set list but the songs they announced were: 11th Hour, Ashes In The Wake, Black Label, NowYou Have Something To Die For, and Redneck which is a song from the new album. Band 5: SLAYER OH MY GOD. FUCKING. INCREDIBLE. After 23 years, Slayer still has it. Kerry and jeff are still crazy on guitar and Dave really wails on those drums. Tom humored us with some jokes about organized religion between songs, really cool guy. Set list: South Of Heaven (opened) Silent Scream Seasons In The Abyss Mandatory Suicide (Which is dedicated to the troops in Iraq accroding ot Tom) Antichrist Cult War Ensamble (Which is one of my favorite songs by them but was interrupted midway through it because a fight broke out in the row in front of me. Some dude came up to a guy sitting in front of me and just punched him out. His friend tried to defend him and they went brawling all the way to the rows below. Still got to enjoy the song though, thank god) Hell Awaits Dead Skin Mask Raining Blood Disciple Blood Red Chemical Warfare Angel Of Death (closed) Great show in the end. Definatley check it out if you're a metal fan.

Heavy Metal Band Tournament: Nomination Thread
Epic Reine replied to AboveAverage484's topic in Music
Mason metal? Eh, I agree with Corey that he's VERY borderline in the industrial/industrial-metal genre so whether he's actually metal or not is hard to say but I'd say he has a lot more in common with NIN who aren't a metal band but uses metal elements. Could Rammstein be considered metal? I'd rank definatley rank them in the Industrual-Metal genre though sometimes it's hard to say. -
The best version of "I Wanna Be Your Dog" is easily the Slayer version though I don't know if that should count considering they changed most of the lyrics (even changing the title to "I'm Gonna Be Your God").

Don't EVER diss Skid Row!

If you're going to prom, make sure you have a good date that actually enjoys being there with you. Part of the reason why I disliked my prom was because my date sucked. She asked me at the last minute and I went with her because she really wanted to go and didn't want her to go alone (I wasn't planning on going). As soon as we entered the building, the night became a nightmare. Every time I asked her to dance she told me she didn't feel like it but when some other dude asked her, she gladfully accepted. She also ditched me after it was over to get drunk at some hotel. If I could do it over, I would have either 1.) Stayed home and not missed much 2.) Went with someone better. The food there was decent though, they had some cool ice cream thingy which was awesome.

Stacy Kiebler isn't that cute. Way too skinny for my liking.

Can't wait for the movie and I hopeBlack makes some appearences on Raw (I don't watch SD!)

I can't believe you diss Magneto's helmet without criticizing how GOD AWFUL Juggernaut's helmet looked.

- Bob Holly isn't that bad. You people are just blindly following - Ken Kennedy is the man - At his best, Goldust is the most entertaining character on TV - Shelton Benjamin will never be big if he keeps cutting bad promos and botch moves, - Mark Henry is a lost cause. - WWE missed the boat with Rob Conway. He was always the best thing about La Resistence but WWE just gave him a generic heel gimmick which couldn't get over if The Rock used it. - Chris Nowinski was awesome. Shame he retired so early. - Al Snow and Stevie Richards are the most wasted WWE Superstars ever.

Well since X3 had the second highest opening say EVER (After Revenge Of The Sith) then I guess that the mentality they have is fine. And I quite liked The Punisher. Very underrated and one of the better Marvel movies.

Flipping Out On Someone After A Traffic Accident
Epic Reine replied to Chazz's topic in General Chat
I was coming home a few months ago and some red corvette rear-ended me and shattered my license plate holder. I immediatley got out of the car and shouted out "If you don't have insurance, I'm gonna rip you a new asshole". As soon as I walk up to the window, the skinny mexican dude speeds away but I thankfully I memorized his license plate number and reported his ass. I did cause quite the scene though, heh. -
The Directors Cut DVD Discussion Thread
Epic Reine replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in Television & Film
I HATE the DC of The Butterfly Effect, I'm glad they cut the pointless scene where I prefer the theatrical version. -

Which was? Either the Raw tag where HHH tore his quad or his match against Regal at the Brian Pillman memorial.
-
Chris Benoit's last good match happened in 2001.
-
Tanaka/Awesome was confirmed for the show but it was announced 2 days before or something. Rhino/Sabu was the only match not announced I believe.
-
I'll agree with the Faith No More answer. They had a bigger impact on music than most people think.

Saw it tonight and thought it was a lot better than I thought it would be. The movie had all the makings of a huge disaster but ended up being pretty good overall for what it was worth. The fight scene towards the end with all the mutants was awesome.
