From the TNA Board Discussion: Your Favourite Scott Steiner Lines
Epic Reine replied to Toxxic's topic in General Wrestling
Oh my god, I literally had tears coming out of my eyes from laughing so hard at the "You ate a hamburger with extra cheese, extra mayonaise and extra ketchup" line towards Samoa Joe. -
Best actor would be similar to the golden globe nominations with Rourke, Penn, Langella, Pitt and either DiCaprio and Eastwood fighting for the 5th spot. Either Penn or Rourke will win, it could go back and forth.
-
That's two award shows milking Heath Ledger's death down. We still got the Oscars to look foward too!
-
R rated horror movies are usually garbage.

What happened to Nash? Have another "heart attack"?

My top 10 in '06 looked a little something like this: 1. The Departed 2. The Prestige 3. Children Of Men 4. The Fountain 5. Hard Candy 6. Little Miss Sunshine 7. Inside Man 8. V For Vendetta 9. Borat 10. A Scanner Darkly

Yea, The Doors' biopic wasn't that good at all.

This sucks considering The Stooges were getting into the hall of fame this year.

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button
Epic Reine replied to The Niggardly King's topic in Television & Film
I thought this was an excellent movie. Very emotional with good performances all around. I loved the story and liked how each aspect of Benjamin's life was layed out perfectly. Nothing felt rushed or dragged. It's a long film but it doesn't feel like it at all. I also agree that the woman who played Queenie deserves some award recognition. -
What films are you anticipated for in 2009?
Epic Reine replied to CBright7831's topic in Television & Film
Public Enemies (Depp/Bale. Enough said) Watchmen (Probably the best graphic novel ever written. Too curious to not check it out) Terminator Salvation (Bale and the Terminator war. Again, too interested.) Wolverine (Was sketchy at first but the trailer does look nice) Ashecliffe (New Scorsese picture) The Taking of Pelham 123 (I'm actually interested in Travolta in the villain role) Funny People (Third Apatow flick) New York, I Love You (Ensamble cast and directors) I Love You, Man (Paul Rudd and Jason Siegal. Enough said) Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen going around the world being stupid. How can you NOT want this?) The Year One (Harold Ramis is directing but the draw for me is MICHAEL CERA!) -
WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Epic Reine replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I seemed to remember on a random episode of Thunder that had Lex Luger (who was in the Wolfpac) and DDP win the tag titles. The title change was scrapped the next week and them winning the straps was never mentioned again. Why wasn't the title change officially recognized? -
Saw this today and thought it was really good. The last 15 minutes were really heart warming and the storytelling and emotion were both top notch. I personally loved the host's character.
-
I always loved the white strap IC title from the mid 90's. Too lazy to find a pic of it.
-
Terri Runnels.

The picture of Aronofsky doing the Diamond Cutter hand gesture with DDP is hilarious. It's also good seeing Lex Luger walking again, last time I heard he wasn't doing too well.

The movie's pretty depressing. A lot of people in the theater were laughing at some very awkward moments in the film and cracked up during a lot of the smark dialouge. Some moments were cringe worthy as well. I'm gonna be quiet now and say it's a very good film just for Rourke's performance and wrestling fans will definatley like it.
-
Mickey Rourke looks like Shane Douglas in that picture. Seeing it this weekend.
-
Very tempted to go see Fleetwood Mac since they're coming here in March for 3 different shows.
-
I was wondering that myself. Did Helms botch the line? And the ending to that match was horrible. Helms is still rusty as all hell.

I'm not entirely sure so don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure the Homicide/Maff thing was about Homicide's son. I remember the news breaking out and Homicide called Maff a pedophile.

WWE General Discussion - December 2008
Epic Reine replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
If this is Wellness related, I'm pretty sure they would have at least waited two days to have them drop the belts on Raw. There's gotta be more to this. -
It seems kind of odd that they'd get a fellow acclaimed actor to host the most prestigious award show on television. I guess they could have done a lot worse though.
-
No DJ Gabriel? Boo!

Eh, Snitsky was in WWE for over four years, I'm sure even he knows they kept him way longer than they should have.
