A. Performer Of The Year - the best overall combination of someone who can back it up in the ring but can entertain on promos. 1. Shawn Michaels 2. Chris Jericho 3. John Cena B. Wrestler Of The Year - the wrestler who can best work a technical match. Though part of "working" is the ability to entertain a crowd (this is why Hulk Hogan can never be called a bad worker - bad mat technician yes, but the man could work a crowd), this is meant for those who may not be over with Casual Joe, but Hardcore Henry says he's the greatest of all time. 1. CM Punk 2. Randy Orton 3. Undertaker C. Entertainer Of The Year - while everyone is eligable of course, the idea here is that just because all their matches are about * or less, you find them to be a guilty pleasure or hilarious or what not. I already know who the winner is but we'll go through the motions. 1. Santino Marella 2. Edge 3. Mizorrison D. Tag-Team Of The Year: 1. Mizorrison 2. Jesse/Festus 3. Priceless E. PPV Of The Year: 1. Wrestlemania 2. Royal Rumble 3. One Night Stand F. Match Of The Year: 1. Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho 2. Raw Elimination Chamber 3. Money in the Bank IV G. Best Television Show Of The Year: 1. ECW H. Smart-Mark Out Moment Of The Year: 1. CM Punk cashing in money of the bank to become the new champion I. DVD Of The Year: 1. Mr. Perfect J. Feud Of The Year: 1. Michaels/Jericho K. Angle Of The Year: 1. Ric Flair's farewell tour L. Non-Match / Segment Of The Year: 1. Ric Flair's send off the night after Wrestlemania M. Female Of The Year (either for wrestling ability or because you find them hot, I don't care): 1. Beth Phoenix 2. Mickie James 3. Maria N. Announcer / Colour Commentator Of The Year (one or the other): 1. Matt Striker/Todd Grisham WORST OF: A. Least Entertaining Wrestler (Don't use the "Best Of" classifications, this is for the person who you hate to see in the ring because you find no redeeming entertainment value with them - it probably goes without saying they can't wrestle): 1. Vladimir Kozlov 2. Chavo Guerrero 3. Bam Neely B. Worst Interviews/Promos/Non-wrestling Segments: 1. Mike Adamle C. Worst Tag Team Of The Year: 1. Hawkins/Ryder D. Worst PPV Of The Year: 1. Great American Bash E. Worst Match Of The Year: 1. Way too many F. Worst Television Show Of The Year: 1. Smackdown G. 2008's "Embarrassed to be a Wrestling Fan" Moment: 1. Khali kiss cam I. Worst / Most Disappointing DVD Of The Year: 1. N/A J. Worst Feud: 1. Jericho/JBL K. Worst Angle: 1. Kane stealing Rey's mask L. Worst Announcer / Colour Commentator (one or the other): 1. WWE Raw - December 8, 2008: The Return of the Slammys
Epic Reine replied to Thanks for the Fish's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm upset about Benjamin killing himself on the ladder at WM22 not being a nominee for most extreme moment. -
What did/do your parents think of wrestling?
Epic Reine replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
My dad always liked it since he grew up watching it in the 70's. He would sometimes order PPV's and watch them with me. My mother however doesn't like it at all and doesn't understand why I still watch it after 15 years. -
Discussion: The Miz and John Morrison
Epic Reine replied to Thanks for the Fish's topic in The WWE Folder
They teased breaking up Miz and Morrison a few times before they came to their senses. Neither man is nearly as good without the other. If a break-up was ever seriously considered, both men would have to be on separate brands. I do think with some tooling that both men could be assets to their brand as singles wrestlers but right now I'm not seeing it. I can't see Miz as a face because he's just too much of a personality that you just want to hate. Morrison would probably make a better face in the long run. -
Isn't MVP's finisher the Shining Wizard now?

Are there any WWE Wrestl....Entertainers you'd change up?
Epic Reine replied to Scroby's topic in The WWE Folder
Kidman looks a lot like Colt Cabana/Scotty Goldman in that picture. -
Former American Gladiator Host Mike Adamle Joins WWE
Epic Reine replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
He's better off. Adamle always sounded insanely nervous on the mic but they kept trying to salvage him to no avail. The only reason he was made GM was to play off the fact that fans were legitimatley annoyed at him for his commentating and interviewing. -
MVP likes Bad Brain? That's a stunning revelation.

workers who get called great but you disagree
Epic Reine replied to chrislatimer's topic in General Wrestling
The belly to belly was a shitty finisher for Douglas, I much prefered the Pittsburgh Plunge. And Cody Rhodes uses the DDT as his finisher. Take that for what it's worth. -
"Break On Through" by The Doors.

they would never of worked as a heel/face
Epic Reine replied to chrislatimer's topic in General Wrestling
Definatley agree. I also agree that even with expert booking, there are some people that should never be heel. Snow is one of them. You can't turn the "goofy but likeable" babyface into a heel because the fans just won't take it seriously. They tried turning Eugene heel last year and it bombed miserably. -
WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Epic Reine replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
What was that WCW PPV where all the faces were booed out of the building and all the heels were cheered like crazy? I think it featured DDP vs Scott Steiner. May have been sometime in 1998. -
I'll always have respect for Disco for getting one of the worst gimmicks ever in wrestling history over. He stuck around for years until WCW folded and was still featured on TV and getting wins until the company's demise.
-
ECW was on MSG right until the company folded. I actually have the last MSG show on tape somewhere with a main event of Jerry Lynn vs Joey Matthews!

I watched Chapter 27 last night (the movie about Mark David Chapman, John Lennon's killer) and for all the weight Jared Leto gained, he really wasn't convincing enough. The movie overall was average.
-
The people that are longing for another Attitude era need to check out some old Raws from 1998-1999. A lot of that shit has aged terribly.

MVP jobs again!

From IMDB: A movie co-starring Ernest fucking Miller is a potential Oscar winner. Insane.

Shows how much I know.

A wrestling carny?

I'm gonna name drop two fast food places that are exclusive to NY: 1.) Five Guys Burgers - Awesome burgers with unlimited free toppings from hot peppers to onion rings. 2.) Joe's Bestburger - Huge ass burgers and is probably the only fast food place I've seen with grape soda available.

I was very surprised at how enjoyable this movie was. I found out last week that MTV produced it so I was expecting some lame story with contrived dialouge but got a highly entertaining comedy with some excellent dramatic elements. There were a few too many gross out moments for me though. Oh and . Oh and yes, Michael Cera has one character but it's still funny, at least to me. He actualy showed more range this time, it wasn't a huge step or anything but it's a start. I'll give it to more movies before it gets old.

I just read on WWE.com that Victoria has been wrestling with a torn ACL for the past six years (which explains the knee brace she wears every week). I'm willing to bet the reason why she won't get surgery for it is the fear of getting cut.
