It'd be best for them, if they could, to get Monday 9-11 [PM] and Tuesday 8-10 [PM]. Just air the show Monday, and then just re-air the show on Tuesday. It's the same general cost. Plus, its an extra day of exposure, and then they can even figure out which gives them the better cross-over read on wrestling fans. Plus, that gives two day build-up pre-Wednesday PPVs. Now, of course it's next to impossible to get both of those timeslots, but it'd be something to shoot for.

Ring of Honor was formed in early 2002 by RF Video, then owned by Rob Feinstein. Current RF Video President Doug Gentry took over Feinstein's positions in March 2004 after Feinstein was implicated during a Philadelphia NBC affiliate's sting on online pedophiles and stepped down from his positions. Cary Silkin became majority investor for ROH earlier this year and has been investing in the company since March 2003. RF Video was founded by Feinstein in 1995 and remains open for business. Although Feinstein is not back in any official capacity, he returned to work at the RF Video offices after the split took place earlier this month. He has told many within the wrestling industry that he is in the process of pursuing legal recourse against the NBC affiliate that set up the sting in conjunction with website Perverted-Justice.com. The Ring of Honor website is currently down as the promotion is switching servers for the site. They have acquired a new webmaster and I would expect are re-tuning the website as well to accommodate their new in-house merchandise systems. The new ROH office is expected to open for business within the next week. now, several things this says to me. 1. the split finally looks legit, instead of the netherworld of uncertainity it was in before. 2. Johnson is reporting that Feinstein was not officially involved with RoH since the incident in March. I've known Mike for a lot of years, going back nearly a decade, and if he's reporting Feinstein wasn't involved, i will take him at his word, more than anyone else in the business. 3. Feinstein potentially pursuing legal action against the TV station and that website is interesting indeed. it says that there is PLENTY more to this story that we don't know. -------------------------------------------------- Well, looks like RF is gone. That's a plus for ROH. And now this settles their contract about what ROHVideos can and cannot sell.

Also it said INDY wrestling tapes. Which would NOT include Japan, Mexico, or Europe. If they reach a deal with FWA which is probable, that'd be some more tapes. Then there's WXW, and Zero-1, among others.

AmDrag can barely be considered a international star, since he was a US indy first and foremost, and is based out of the States. Storm was used what, twice? Same with Fleisch. Williams has been used like 3 times, and is going to be used like 3 or 4 times in the upcoming months. I guess Nigel could be seen that way as well, but I doubt he's very expensive.

From how ROH made it sound, Jeff asked THEM to wrestle on their show. So I assumed he was either free, or rather cheap.

What big international stars has ROH really used? 1. Ikuto 2. Tanaka 3. E.Guerrero 4. Super Crazy ... thats about it. I think the whole thing that set them back is the split with RFVideo. RFVideo completly financed ROH. Cutting off all of those sales, I beleive is what sets them back. It also sounds like this estimation is just that, an estimation, and probably isn't that big of a loss as is reported. EDIT: Yea, kinda forgot about Final Battle '03. But, that has been there best attendence [some 1,600] some. Plus then you figure in they had two shows that day, plus they got a shoot out of Kaz and Muta, which I imagine sold pretty nicely. They probably broke even on the FB show. Also, considering that Muta and Kaz were doing a tour of the states, they didn't have to pay for their flight.

The booking seems to be a bit scattered brain. Mark Briscoe over Alex Shelley? Cabana over Joe? Cabana over Acid? Considering Cabana has the tag titles... ? Also, what is with Gabe's love of Double Pins? Two in one show? Its starting to get to the point of WWF/E with their ref bumps.

Aries pushed his way out of Cattle Mutilation in the middle of the ring but ultimately was defeated. Joe couldn't stress enough how fucking awesome this one was.
