This has to be one of the worst booked PPV's this year. Two bullshit finishes and most of the heels going over? If I was seeing it live (the show's in my hometown) I would start a riot.

JBL, drenched in sweat, gets the win.

Fire is no match for Cena!

Why the hell would JBL come to a brawl in dress clothes?
-
Didn't Nash bring that up during a promo on Nitro? (I wanna say around 1999).
-
I personally would bring Dent back as a minor villain and re-do Penguin and at the end, a tease for Robin.
-
Excellent movie. Joker was amazing but Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent deserves some outstanding praise too. What I also love is that now no one knows what's coming for the third movie.

In my area, the first 3 WEEKS of The Dark Knight in IMAX theaters are completley sold out. That's insane. I got my tickets for Thursday Midnight though in Bayside.

London!...in ugly Nike sneakers....

That was the Iron Circle match between Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman in 1999.

I'm going to the Metal Masters tour in August Motorhead and Judas Priest=SOLD.

What are some of your favorite post-match victory celebrations in wrestling? Whether a wrestler won a fued blow-off, a championship, or a hard fought victory? For me, HBK winning the iron man at WM12, when he gets down on his knees and stares at the WWF title for a good few seconds looking like he didn't believe he won it. Randy Savage winning the title at WM8, when he embraces Elizabeth in the ring with the title, truly a great moment. Kurt Angle winning the WWE title at No Mercy 2000, when he drops to his knees at the entranceway and starts crying, the reign may have sucked but I always chuckle at his emotion. Bret Hart winning the strap at WM10, all the wrestler gathering into the ring and hoisted him into the air, after he was defeated by his brother earlier in the night only to come back and win the title. I'll add more later, need to think of good ones involving the mid-card.

Why did they break up Londrick? Unless they're gonna push both superstars (which they aren't) then it was pointless. I wanted them to have a Rockers-esque break-up (which I thought they were going for the night Kendrick walked out on London to be destroyed by Umaga) with London getting the HBK mid-card heel push but alas it never happened. Oh well, both are barley gonna be used. I think it's too soon to move Kofi up to Raw. He should have stayed on ECW for another year, maybe fued for the title then move up to Raw.

I got kicked out of the Draft discussion on WWE Fan Nation last night because I said "Matt Hardy going to Smackdown is worse than the time I paid money to see "She's All That". The joke being that Freddie Prinze Jr. was a guest in the discussion forum.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if SD took JBL back...
-
Smackdown better be getting someone huge cuz Mysterio was one of D's only main eveneters. I guess they're giving Mysterio one last run on Raw before he finally decides to hang it up.

OMG Terminator 4 is definetly going ahead
Epic Reine replied to Vanhalen's topic in Television & Film
Bad news for T4: Supposedly, going with the trend of all R rated movies being edited down to PG-13 teenfests, T4 is going for a PG-13 rating in an attempt to sell more action figures towards children. (my friend sent me the link to this story last week, I believe it may have been from aintitcoolnews). Here's my main problem with this: Look at T2, that movie had no problems whatsoever making money off of merchandise. Kids still bought the video games and they still bought the toys. It'll make major box office regardless (obviously) but I don't understand editing it down for that reason alone. -
So much for that SSP ban.

Saw Iron Maiden again last night. This was my second time seeing them (Saw them before in Oct. '06) and they were more or less amazing. Between songs, Bruce brought out soccer balls and the band members kept playing with them. Fun stuff.

They kind of had to have Mysterio last that long. With his size, if he would have entered in the 25-30 range his win would have just been considered a fluke so they gave him the #2 spot just so they can hype him up being in the match so long (despite what others have said, he didn't do much at all in this time) and sell the fact that it wasn't a flash in the pan win. They kind of booked themselves into a corner in that respect. Anyway, the rest of the card wasn't anything great. JBL got squashed by the Boogeyman and Edge's 3 week world title reign came to and end. I did like the cruiserweight invitational though but only because London damn near killed himself with that SSP. Another thing I hated was the Rumble match being so low on the card.

Saw the midnight showing last night and I actually liked it. Pretty good stuff.

I went into High School as a sophmore (spend 9th grade in Junior High which went from grades 6-9). My first year there was pretty rough, I didn't really have any friends. I had people I hung out with in school but would never see or talk to outside of it. It got even worse in my junior year as the first semester I was starting to make friends but the second semester, they all pretty much dissapeared which made me miserable for awhile. Senior year though, was amazing, had a bunch of great buddies that I still hang out with to this day, starting dating a little and all the adventures I had I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Academic wise, I did pretty average in my sophmore and beginning of junior year but everything started to pick up in my senior year and I graduated with a pretty high GPA and good ranking in my class.

Sydal barley worked for TNA, he did a few shows and that was it. He wasn't a name or anything.
-
That's Dan Spivey. He had a brief stint in the WWF in the mid 90's as Waylon Mercy which was a rip-off of Robert De Niro's character from "Cape Fear".
-
Sydal came off sounding lame as hell in that promo.
