Oh man, I remember jamming to this everyday back in kindergarten. How sad.
-
Stone is really good at glorifying and exploiting tragic events (World Trade Center is one of the worst movies I've ever seen btw) so this wll be an overly dramatic piece complete with subtle Christian imagery.
-
Carlito uses the backcracker, Edge hasn't used the Downward Spiral in years and Shelton's a jumping variation of it. I don't agree that it's a lame overused finisher but Kennedy is really the only one using it right now as a finisher.
-
Yea, Kane's winning the battle royal. Though it would be hilarious to have someone completley random like Jesse or Val Venis get the duke.
-
Where exactly is Kennedy? He wasn't on Raw last week or this week.
-
I have a feeling that this match will be a lot like Lesnar/Goldberg at WM20. Lots and lots and LOTS of stalling.
-
David Flair cameo? I'll take it.
-
I think the question on everybody's mind is what will the next step be in the Kendrick walking out on London storyline!
-
If I want to have HBK win the world title, I would want him to get a lenthy reign with it and not job out the title 4 weeks later like his cup of coffee reign in 2002. They were building up a nice program between him and Cena last year before he got hurt, that would have been a great time to put it on him and build up Cena retaining it for months. Now though? can't see any way for Shawn to get a decent reign out of it.
-
I can't really think of a scenario where Shawn would be anything more than a transitional champion which is the last thing the belt needs at this point.
-
I remember a cool match from Thunder pitting Vamp/Muta/Demon/Jarrett vs Booker/Sting/Kronik in an elimination style Survivor Series match which saw a cool spot with Sting and Booker winning with a stereo Book End/Scorpion Death Drop on Vamp and Demon.
-
Let's put it this way. HHH absolutley sucked as champion in 2002-2003. At least Rob and Booker were over...
-
I always thought Woody Harrelson would make an awesome Kingpin.
-
In terms of overall match quality, HHH/Rock but the story and intensity is much better with HBK/Bret.
-
1.) Mark and Jay are in the HOF. Sweet.
2.) Kane beat HHH by DQ at WM15. Goddamnit JR!
3.) Yes, HHH unmasked Kane on TV...only after Orton RKO'ed him for the win.
-
As of right now, JBL/Finlay at WM is strictly one on one. This better be changed to a No DQ match in the next few weeks. Doesn't do any man good to just work a standard wrestling match, especially with the storyline involved. Both men need to bleed.
-
Kingston will most likely get the ECW spot.
-
New Kids On The Block are supposedly reuniting. Poor Donnie Wahlberg.

Isn't his father still alive? I would think him.

The guy starred in Bully and Apt Pupil, both movies are widely popular among the younger crowd of movies fans. Hell, his well known drug problem should have put him in there alone.
And why even do a montage of deceased people in show business if you're not gonna include everybody?
-
I hate to sound like a broken record but The Rock doesn't owe anyone jack shit.
The guy had an excellent career in WWE that he's very proud of and his popularity shot him to superstardom in Hollywood. Some people are just upset that the guy actually moved on in great health unlike guys like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin who HAVE to make wrestling appearances just to keep themselves in the public eye when they couldn't succeed elsewhere. I hate to break it to you people but there IS life after wrestling.
He'll always put over the company that made him famous, what more could you want? It's not like he disowns it.

My favorite very special episode was probably from "Boy Meets World".
Still distraught after losing Topenga, Cory turns to drinking and gets Shawn into it as well. After getting in trouble with the cops, Cory's parents yell at him and convince him that drinking is wrong, however, Shawn is still hooked and his brother Jack tells him that alcoholism runs in the family so he eventually stops.

Go see it, It's a great movie. Hell, after last night's performance I actually want to buy it (I saw it in theaters last fall).
-
I'm thinking a flop for 10,000 BC too but then again, I thought the same for Jumper and it's doing pretty good for itself.

The movies are incredibly cheap to make so it's not incredibly hard for them to break their budget and make a good amount of money. People are indeed dumb enough to go see these heaping piles of shit because they're expeting huge amounts of laughs. They also get released during the times where no other decent movies are out, usually at the beginning of the new year.
