    TSM NBA H2H: Year 6

I'm not going to be on much in the next 16 hours or so. So I sent Marv my pick since he drafts after me.

Since Marv picked Duhon, I think it's time for some more drunken Chris Duhon madness! The shirt says it all. My God, Duhon even gets Hinrich women!

I have no clue who I want to keep for my sixth keeper yet. I do know who I'm keeping for 5 of my keepers though. I'll post my 6th keeper sometime before the end of the playoffs. Team Random Hero keepers Prince Fielder - Round 6 Matt Holliday - Round 7 Justin Upton - Round 18 BJ Upton - Round 18 (Traded for so it is pushed to Round 19) Cristian Guzman - Undrafted

So there is no minimum number. Essentially, if you aren't pleased with your team you do not have to keep any players.

    MLB Divisional Playoffs, NL Edition

Gallardo is good but he hasn't really proven that he is right now at this very moment ready to be thrust in to a playoff battle and win. He's pitched 4 innings since he's come back. They were darn good innings but they were against the Pirates. Brewers might have had a shot if Ben Sheets wouldn't have gotten broken in half. Gallardo is going to grow up in the bigs REAL fast now.

    MLB Divisional Playoffs, AL Edition

Angels in 5 over Boston Game 1 goes to Angels. John Lackey will get it done. Game 2 goes to Boston. This should be a close game but I think Boston will eek it out. Game 3 goes to Boston. Beckett. Game 4 goes to Angels. Lackey is getting thrown back up on the hill no way is Garland getting the start. Game 5 goes to Angels. Ervin Santana will show up with his a game. Chicago in 5 over Tampa Game 1 goes to Chicago. Vazquez is going to rebound over his last bad outting. Game 2 goest to Tampa. This game is going to be fairly close. Kazmir and Buehrle should both be stellar. Game 3 goes to Chicago. Gavin Flloyd has showed he can pitch well in close games. Game 4 goes to Tampa. Either Danks or Vazquez will pitch. Both will probably job. Game 5 goes to Chicago. Big home runs in this game from the Chicago offense will bail them out.

    MLB Divisional Playoffs, NL Edition

Cubs in 4 over the Dodgers Game 1 goes to Chicago. Dempster has been stellar at home. Game 2 goes to the Dodgers. Zambrano has pitched a few good games recently and a few trainwrecks. So I'll go with him falling a part in this one. Game 3 goes to Chicago. Harden is pitching so this will be a close game. Cubs will eek out a win and get Harden another ND. Game 4 goes to Chicago. I'm going to assume Dempster or Lilly will pitch and finish the Dodgers off. Philadelphia in 4 over the Brewers (unless the Brewers figure out a way to get Sabathia to pitch 5 games) Game 1 goes to Philly. No Sabathia pitching. Hamels on the mound. Game 2 goes to Milwaukee. Sabathia will be pitching 9 innings and 180 pitches if needed. Game 3 goes to Philly. No Sabathia. Game 4 goes to Philly. See game 1 results.

I have to say alf, this draft has gone pretty damn well. Since the start of the thread we've completed 4 rounds. Pretty damn quick. I think next year in the baseball draft I'm gonna have to implement a similar pick time limit that decreases after a certain amount of rounds.

They always get moved back a round. The only time they get moved up a round is at the back end of the draft when you can't have guys getting bumped beyond round 20.

A few Minor corrections to your keeper draft value treble. Adam Lind was drafted in Round 17 James Shield was drafted Round 18 so he would fill the round 18 spot Uggla was drafted Round 20, he was undrafted a few seasons ago Snider would be the round 19 keeper since he is undrafted and thats the first available spot Nothing overly significant but still a few adjustments nonetheless. Either way you are still getting those 4 guys the last 4 rounds of the draft. Guys that were drafted always take priority over guys that went undrafted. When multiple guys have the same draft round I typically go in the following order to determine who gets one spot. 1. Players you orignally drafted 2. Players drafted by another team and later acquired by your team during the season 3. Undrafted players I'll be posting my keepers in a few days. A couple players on my team are still battling it out for the 6th and final keeper spot.

The post season is upon us! Congrats to Precious Roy for winning the Regular Season Crown for best record in the league! Congrats to the 6 teams making the playoffs! We had a very tightly contested regular season. Serenity ran away with the lead early on but was eventually caught by the rest of the league. With 4 weeks left there were still 13 teams that had a solid shot at making the championship playoff bracket. Very good competition this year guys. The Championship is anybody's for the taking. I don't think its possible to even predict which team might win it. Good luck Championship Bracket contenders and teams battling for the "Best of the Rest Championship" in the Consolation Bracket. I posted the end of season standings in the first post of the thread. Under each team is a list of that teams current keepers. Feel free to modify your keeper selections as much as you want until the Keeper deadline. Then all keepers will be final. Marvin sent me his keepers via pm since he is not allowed to post in the sports folder. He stated that he was quite happy to grab Duchscherer off waivers. Here are his keepers. Marvin's keepers: Mark Teixeira, 1B (Round 1 - Year 1) Joe Nathan, RP (Round 2 - Year 1) Adrian Gonzalez, 1B (Round 3 - Year 1) Justin Duchscherer, SP (Round 15 - Year 1) Brian McCann, C (Round 18 - Year 1) Ryan Braun, 3B/OF - (Round 20 - Year 1)

Once the regular season standings are official, at the end of the week, I'm going to list each team in order from 1st to 20th along with your tentative keepers in the first post of the thread. Feel free to change keepers as much as you want until the keeper deadline. Just please don't go back and edit your post with your keepers. Start a new post so I know that a change did in fact occur. I have to congratulate my team on a disastrous ending of the season. It went from 2 games out of 6th 4 weeks ago to completely out of the consolation playoff bracket. My team has gone 4-27 the past 3 weeks. The epitome of terrible. Oh well, that was to be expected after I pawned off all of my discernible talent. We still have a hotly contested battle for the champion of the cellar. It appears unless something major happens the top 6 playoff teams are a lock. Also pinjockey, Berkman and Gallardo both are only going to count for it being the first year you kept them. We aren't going to post date the keeper year. Everyone getting kept this year regardless of how long they've been on your team is going to count as their first year kept.
