like I said last week, youd think HBK would have to dress a bit better if he was employed by JBL. he looks like a bum off the street there.

He was supposed to play vs the Dolphins after an injury to his shin but didnt. He was supposed to play vs the Titans and didnt. It might end up being the best move the coaching staff has made to hold him out so he's fresh for the Steelers game.

The major thing that keeps me from being totally depressed about this game is that the Ravens played the Steelers tough in both games, but they actually looked better in the game @ Heinz Field. They were up 13-3 at the half and in about a 2 minute span gave up the lead on a my boyfriend TD and a Flacco fumble recovery for a TD. Flacco then engineered a really nice drive that tied the game at 20 and sent the game into OT. Flacco's QB rating is much better on the road, and he's protected the ball much better than he was early on in the year. For all the talk of McClain being hurt with a sprained ankle, they very well should at least have a healthy McGahee, if not Ray Rice as well to pick up most of the slack. Everyone else that was hurt on Saturday should be ready to go last I heard. Theres no way my boyfriend has as much time to sit back and throw like he did vs SD. I do worry about him hitting the short slant routes but theres no way he'll be as comfortable as he was vs SD since Rex Ryan will have the blitzes on just about every down. The one thing that has been mentioned was that the Ravens defense looked tired vs the Titans early. They have played pretty much 21 straight weeks with no bye week thanks to the Hurricane in Houston. I just hope they can put together 4 quarters of football together to earn their first bye week next the following weekend before the Super Bowl...

Richie Sexson (who they are looking at signing to play 1B) is no better than Kevin Millar who they will probably end up bringing back anyway because no one else wants him. try again

coughbrianrobertstradecough Plus, Zaun will probably be the OD catcher since they dont plan on calling up Wieters until May (unless things change in ST).. also, I forgot to post that the Chicago Tribune thinks the Orioles are one of only 7 teams to improve this offseason. The most improved teams, in order: Yankees, Athletics, Giants, Mets, Indians, Orioles and Royals. Maybe they really meant "most moves made" and not "most improved"

The Os signed Chris Gomez to a minor league deal and also signed Rick Dempsey's nephew Gregg Zaun to a deal as well. It just keeps getting better doesnt it?

I saw what Justin Gage did to the Ravens secondary and it has me worried about the Ravens facing the Cardinals. Hopefully though they'd blitz the hell out of Warner and he wouldnt even get to make the throws to Fitz/Boldin to start with.

Im thinking about doing a banner with the Cardinals and Ravens logos and it says "Doing their part to prevent an all PA Super Bowl and giving the nation the worst Super Bowl since the last one in Tampa!"

    NFL PLAYOFFS

Since 1982, a team that beat a team twice in the regular season went on to face the same team in the playoffs 18 times and the 2 win teams combined for a record of 11-7 in the playoff meeting. Most recently last year the Cowboys beat the Giants twice last year but lost to the Giants in the Playoffs. Pittsburgh oddly enough is 2-0 as the team with 2 wins, beating the Browns in 94 and 02. They also were swept in 89 by the Oilers but won the playoff meeting.

I would probably die of laughter right here if the Chargers somehow managed to recover two onside kicks and win this game.

As close as the previous 2 games were vs the Steelers and the bad officiating in the last game, I have some hope that the Ravens can go to Pittsburgh and win but by no means am I at all confident about that. Not to mention this game was pretty much a cakewalk for the Steelers and the Ravens must feel like they went through hell yesterday in TN.

This is quite possibly the worst quarter of football Ive ever seen played by one team. The Chargers had the ball for like :15 out of 15 minutes. Ive never seen that before.

I thought Id catch the score before I went to bed and was amazed. the probability of Ravens/Cardinals in the Worst ever Super Bowl since the last time the Ravens were in Tampa is intriguing.

titans fans will bitch and complain about the no delay of game call but it was justice served for the phantom blow to the helmet call in the first game.. If that game is like this game, I'll be dead of a heart attack by halftime most likely. He just led them to a game winning FG with 4 minutes to go in the playoffs, on the road. He made 2 deep passes that resulted in 2 scores plus the 3rd and 10 conversion on the final drive and the 3rd and whatever it was pass completion to get them into Stover's FG range. Oh and Flacco didnt step ob either! and Titans are Angry! He just led them to a game winning FG with 4 minutes to go in the playoffs, on the road. He made 2 deep passes that resulted in 2 scores plus the 3rd and 10 conversion on the final drive and the 3rd and whatever it was pass completion to get them into Stover's FG range. I like how you neglected the critical no call that went in your favor or the fact that the defense prevented the team from losing 31-10 today when singing the praises of a guy whose biggest completion shouldn't have counted. Didn't ignore the no delay of game call. Its karma for the phantom blow to the helmet call in the first game. that call allowed the Titans to drive down the field and score the winning TD, this no call allowed the Ravens to drive down the field and score the winning FG. The difference was actually the lack of Chris Johnson in the 2nd half for the Titans. He doesn't get hurt and the Titans probably would have won easily AND he would have gone for over 100 (he had 72 yards on just 11 carries). but anyway. I think the Ravens theme for next week should be "WE WANT A BYE WEEK!" since they didnt get one at all due to the Hurricane. Can we please put this guy on vacation until the end of the season for those of who actually want to talk about what's happening on the field and not in Marvin's fantasy land? How can anyone with a developed brain think that a call in a meaningless game is equal to a critical blown call in the waning minutes of the 4th Quarter of a tied playoff game. It's obvious Marvin and reality are not friendly and he's only going to be more obnoxious as the playoffs progress. Why couldn't the Titans do us all a favor and deliver the killshot today? Ugh. Who the hell knows what would have happened if the Ravens won that game in week 5 if that phantom call didnt happen. The Titans wouldnt have started 10-0, the Ravens would have gone to 3-1 instead of 2-2 heading into Indy with more momentum and might not have gotten clobbered. Im even going to go as far as saying that Karma wants to make a payback for that bad call in the 2nd Steelers game too since she's in payback mode. And that game wasn't meaningless either! 5 am, which is a good thing because Im footballed out for the weekend after the Ravens win. I work next sunday but as luck would have it the AFC Game is at 6pm so I wont even have to leave work early.

    NFL PLAYOFFS

The no delay of game penalty was a callback to the phantom blow to the head call on Suggs in the first game that let the Titans win the game. The Ravens only need about..20 yards to be in Stover's range..
