Believe it or not, there are a few people out there like me who don't want to see what an Obama Presidency coupled with a Democratic Supermajority of Progressive minded democrats in the Senate will have in store for America. Its almost like someone decided to throw the whole country into a time warp back 80 years.

    Covering Coverage

I have never heard his radio show, so I can only comment on his TV show, but to me he comes off as a total D-bag. One second it's "OMG This government, it's both sides" then the very next segment it's "Democrats are communists, YES, I SAID IT" Then the fact that he forms an opinion and then brings on 2-3 guests that are in agreement with him and they have a circle jerk. Hell O'Reily at least brings on someone he disagrees with, even if he does just shout over the guest & cut their mic off if they make a valid counterpoint. I just think he is very disingenious about the way he goes about his "I'm looking out for the people" schtick. I dont see how he is disingenuous about that though. The fact is that despite having a $10 million a year radio deal, big book deal and this new TV deal, the man didnt go to college and spent the majority of his life a total failure through dealing with alcoholism and his mother and brother's suicides. I firmly believe that he is grounded enough through his faith to not be someone who says things like he does when he doesn't actually mean any of it. I also believe that he's probably on the verge of killing himself with the amount of work he does between researching stuff, his radio and tv shows and his 2 yearly tours. He's been talking about the economy for well over a year now, back when "Oh the economy is fine!" and was advocating people do simple things like buying clothes and food in advance if they were on sale. I dont even hear anyone on TV now suggesting that. I am surprised that he has gone off the issue of illegal immigration like he was earlier in the year but then again thats not even been a topic thats been brought up in any debates. As for the move off CNN to FOX News, he pointed out today that he felt that he would ultimately be safer if alligned with people of similar viewpoints in the coming years but he said that there were a surprising number of people at CNN that he was proud to know and work with (Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper especially). I dont watch his TV show that often because for the most part its rehashing what I heard on the Radio for 3 hours each day. But it will be in HD so theres a reason to at least record it.

I can only hope that by 2010 people are fed up enough with it to at least take away their majority in the Senate. I'll do everything I can to help since Maryland can vote out (ha, yeah right) Barbara Mikulski in 2 years.

The WSJ has a nice article on the Liberal Supermajority that's coming. At least the people in Washington DC will finally get to shut up about taxation without representation.

Im happy to know that Michelle Obama has a taste for Iranian Caviar. I guess we don't have to worry about going to war with Iran or even Russia now. That takes a load off my shoulders not having to worry about going to war with them.

[Glenn Beck]But he was a Socialist!!![/Glenn Beck] FDR was directly responsible for the Depression lasting longer in the United States than any other country in the world. While the rest of the world was out of the Depression, we were still stuck in it and it took entering WWII to finally get out of it. But hey, don't take my word for it! Source I like the last paragraph: Id like to know where the hell these two guys are now. I can throw more against FDR if you want, like the fact that his 9 Supreme Court Justices Appointees would go on to uphold the Internment of Japanese Americans during WW2. Or the fact that he tried make the case that the America First Committe, an anti intervention group was being paid off by the Nazi Party to support not interfering in Europe. Or his previously mentioned Economic Bill of Rights which he wanted added to the US Constitution: Just imagine if he had gotten his way with that. We'd all have a job (in the mines, yay!),a decent home, retirement money, health insurance, food, clothing and FUN TIME, guaranteed by the government! Doesn't that sound just like the greatest nation ever?

CNN said the ads were in some NBA game and Burnout Paradise for the 360. the expert said it was because Obama had more money than he knows what to do with because they were pretty much a waste of money though it wasnt much money.

Go for it. I'm poor, I can't. I can't even afford to go to a TNA show at the moment. Tickets are only 20 bucks too. I can't find a job, so I'm depressed. Im planning on going to the Smackdown taping on December 16th in Baltimore so I might take a sign. Im also planning on going to Glenn Beck's Christmas tour in Philadelphia on December 15th but I doubt anyone here or there would want me to take a TSM sign.

I like how the media and left wing blogs have done everything but accuse Joe the Plumber of being a Joe the Republican Plant at Obama's thing the other day to give them a talking point at the debate. But hey, thats just a wacky conspiracy theory! I also bet that if the Media had even the slightest hint that Joe the Plumber would become "Joe the Republican who will not be voting for Obama" they would have never even put him on TV in the first place. They got caught off guard like they did with Sarah Palin and now they're doing everything in their power to smear him 72 ways from Sunday just like they did with Palin, and I think its more disgusting because unless you buy into my conspiracy theory, then this guy is getting smeared for doing nothing but having the guts to ask Obama a question. I don't think he asked to be the major focus of the debate and I don't think he would have even asked the question if he knew he'd be getting attacked for it. Is that what we're moving towards in this country? "How dare you ask Obama a tough question! We'll dig up dirt on you so fast you'll never no what hit you!" Its disgusting. Im just happy theres at least someone else out there who thinks that its flat out wrong for the government to tax people more if they're more succesful in their business or job and give it to people who have done nothing to deserve it.

Telling of what exactly? Obama is a senator just like McCain is, and when they are in the Senate, they don't call each other by their first names. As far as the debate, McCain won easily but not enough to make any huge difference in terms of swinging any of those coveted undecided voters.

Yeah, and how many people even actually gave any thought to donating their stimulus check to a charity? Not very many I bet, since the government was almost tripping over itself to point out that you should go spend the money instead of saving it or paying debt off. And talking about walking the walk, Ive volunteered for Relay for Life through my job and I also voluntered at the Lowcountry Food Bank of Charleston back when I was in College in SC. Ive donated money to the American Heart Association and Johns Hopkins Hospital. I've participated in trash cleanups at the beach on several occasions, worked at a homeless shelter helping to feed people over the holidays. I dare say Ive done more community service work (outside of what the state of Maryland requires High School Students to do to graduate) than most people my age in my area. Im not going to sit here and say these things if I didnt actually do them myself (Im not a politician!).

    Campaign 2008

Yeah, if you're willing to do 100 hours of community service, community college is "free." That's not exactly a giveaway. Lets see...100 hours of community service or years and years of being saddled with debt to pay for college, or even not going to college at all? That is such a tough choice. I think more people in this country should be willing to do Community Service with the only benefit being that you feel good about doing something for someone other than yourself. If that option is on the table..you'd be a fool to turn it down just because of the slight inconvenience of having to do 100 hours of community service. Thats about 8 hours a month for a year, 2 hours a weekend. This is a view into the problem with this country that a good majority of people aren't even willing to help others when the longer term benefit would be bettering themselves through a college education, let alone doing it for sole purpose of helping others.
