And then they sang na na na na. Duh? Ladder matches. I liked RAW Roulette too. Starting with the cage match. Ending with TLC.

    Michael Jordan on WWF magazine?

That would be much appreciated, thanks.
  3. Cornette as the filter maybe? That would be Court Bauer. Id like to see a booking committee made-up of Vince, Russo, Cornette, Heyman and Bischoff.

^ Hope my last post was understandable since I think I answered a few queries. Dont know why it turned out like that.

    Lame finisher names

He is/was the worlds strongest man. Rey is from the West Coast. His initials perhaps? When I heard RKO the first time, I thought Randy's Knock Out. They have refered to tuning up the band. Like the 3 musketeers maybe but hes latin. He finishes the match with it maybe? I like it. Hes the 'man' for so long in the WWE. Never got that. Cuase ramming someone face first would normally break their face, making them unpretty? He looks Japanese to me. Strech Muffler is its generic name.

    How do you remember

As the greatest wrestler who ever walked the face of this earth. Period. Im biased. I AM A BRET HARD MARK. Sue me. Someone who brought me immense enjoyment from watching his in-ring and promo work. Someone who made me fall in love with wrestling. Someone whom I soared with his ups and floundered with his downs. As a man who could have an entertaining match with a brass pole. My wrestling hero. A very proud tradionalist. Bret, you are deeply, deeply, missed.

    Brock Lesnar Returning to WWE

But, considering the history of return angles, how do you book his return as to make the marks aware of Brock coming back, but not have it so that they fart on the actual return angle? That may be exaggerating the reaction to a degree, but you get the picture. Does the WWE run the risk of having the marks turn on Brock for his departure, or should they just chalk the Goldberg match to MSG smarks in the audience? Going down this road, what is the correct way to re-introduce Brock (angle-wise) to get the desired reaction from the fans? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think, for once, the best tactic on how to deal with WMXX is to use their usual tactic, i.e. just forget it ever happened.

    Banks New Column

I get my information from here: If thats the case, I think they should price them at $5 under the WWEs. Hence, the use of the word relative in my post.
  10. Thank god that somebody here is has chucked out the Tyson Tomko threads. I typed a reply in 1 of them, but by the time it was ready the thread was close. I still think it has to be said though, so [switches on shoot mode] here it goes: @TysonTomko420 Ive had enough of this Tyson FN Tomko crap. Thank god WWE doesnt push him, cause Im getting my fill of shit from here and you. Do you have to start a million threads about the guy. You like him, great, hes got like ummmm, one fan. What do you at the fanclub meetings? Look at a picture of him and releave yourself? The guy has very little in the way of talent. Get over it. Your mamas pet chiwawa would entertain me more. The only thread worth running is "Why didnt Tyson get axed, but Haas, Morgan et al did?" and "Roll-up, roll-up, pick the month in which you think Tyson will get axed". I think that you are Tyson FN Tomko in disguise and are trying to make yourself, ummmm, you know, feel good. In the words of the great one: You sick fffffffffffffffffffffffffreak. (Id love to see Rocky squash Tyson FN Tomko on the mike, and next week Tomko's sacked.)

    WWE's PPV Schedule for 2005

No cities confirmed for No Mercy, Armageddon, or New Year's Revolution. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They have got to cut one PPV for sure, since its an odd number, unless Bad Blood is permantly struck off now. They really should cut 3, since 14/15 is way too much in a year.
  12. Pretty self explanatory really. Why is he in the X Div? Surely he is more suited to the ME. Can he go like a X Divisioner?

zyn, didn't you read my title? I'm one of the least-liked posters here ... you should really set the bar a little higher than me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ive never got why you say that. Always wanted to ask. I like what you have to say and so do others here so change the broken record please.
  14. That doesnt make sense. Do you mean, youll only watch the WWE if you can watch Tomko somehow? I never got that either.

Could a Round Robin Tournament work

Thats sounds a bit too complicated for causal fans to me. I would love to see it back. Id reorganise the PPV calender. Have the Big 4 of WM, KotR, SurSer and RR, with 2 ppvs in between each. Id have SummerSlam as the International PPV of the year. With it taking place between the 2 brand's summer PPVs. They can rotate it round the world: London, Rio de Janerio, Tokyo, Sydney and Johanesburg. There ya go. I think I posted it here once before as well. Edit: I know that around the time I wrote this, a second wrestler won the Rumble from number one...but I think that it would be a great way for someone to win the 30 spot and win the Rumble. Nobody's ever done that to my knowledge and might lend credibility to that spot, even if it is sort of a copout. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Again, sounds way too complicated to me. Plus, your emphasing WM and the RR way to much, its as if everything revolves around and is linked to them. I would personally book it like this, given the current PPV calander. Id have 2 round robin tournaments. 1 starting the night after JD leading up to SS, the other starting the night after SS leading up to SurSer. The 1st will be a singles tourney. Have the GMs pick 8 superstars or whatever number they can fit in. Each of the brands will be either side of bracket and will be further split into 2 bands of 4 respectively, with 4 wrestlers in of the prelimanary bands, with the top 2 going into the qualifying band. The winner of the brand's bracket will face the winner of the others brand's bracket at SS, the prize: a title shot at the brands next PPV. Id make it 2 points for a win, 0 for a time-limit draw and -1 for a loss. If you want, have the top 2 in the qualifying band face off at the start of SS, then hyping up the fact that they have already fought for odd number of minutes. Imagine if the final is draw. The 2nd would be to decide the make-up of the brand's team for the interpromotional match-up at SurSer. Have 12 number of wrestlers face off agsainst each other per brand. Retain the same point system. Top 5 make the team. Those who survive on the winning team face off against the brands champion at the next PPV. Champions are exempted from both tourneys, and have to defend their titles as normal.

    ESPN Article on WWE

Yes, you are. Your avatar and signature scream badass and the sloganizer is great. Took me ages for me to choose my signature and still havent decided on an avatar yet. I also like Y2Jerk. His comments are funny, just read them with a pinch of salt. For example: "Proving once again that WWE programming makes people more aggressive." I have a warped sense of homour, so this could be why I find him amusing.

Not really. I dont watch that much. Not more than 5 hours a week, and thats a max.

    Reason for Velocity Improvement

Yes, your right. But he was accussed of recycling angles, with rejects from other companies (even worse than TNA). The major fued was that of the Extreme Horseman vs the washed-up legends. No, it never did with Los Maximos or Teddy Hart or whoever.

    Banks New Column

Given that I now know what the WWE charges for its PPVs, Id say single DVDs at $10 or $12.50 and 3 pack at $25 or $30 would be relatively fair. Thanks. THought as much.
  20. Ive just been thinking about this, who is the most hated heel and most loved face in history, regardless of for which promotion they wrestled? I would have to say as a heel, they dont come much badder than Big Van Vader. He used to put people in hospital just for fun. His victims include Sting, Mick Folely and Ron Simmons (who was badass in WCW during 1992/3). His moveset was wicked, including a Vader Splash, Moonsault and the very awesome Vader Bomb. Remember, he weighed between 400-450 pounds at the time. He broke jobbers backs for fun. He has had problems with the police in different countries. Hes a multi-time world champion on different continents. Harley Race, one of the dirtest wrestlers in the business was his manager. IMHO, he was the most dominant heel champion in WCW history. If you want to talk about the WWE dropping the ball, look no further than Vader. For a face, I think the eternal face is Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat. I mean, did this guy ever play a heel? Did he ever do something remotely heelish. Hell, even nowdays, hes still portrayed as a face, such as in RoH. Very proficient technically, fans loved him, since he did no wrong. I think this love from the fans was supported cause he could mat wrestle, proven in classics such as his series of matches with Ric Flair (whom the fans used to love to hate around that time) and his WMIII match with 'Macho Man' Randy Savage. Its a shame that there were so many top faces at the time, since he had no chance at being WWE Champion what with Hogan, and a long-term NWA or WCW Champion given the dominance of people like Flair and Sting. Misused in many promotions IMHO.

    Triple H Update

I thought Masters would turn out to be Flair's protege the 1st time Flair thought it was Batista in the limo when Masters debuted on RAW.

    New WWE DVD's

Neither am I. It blows. Big Time. For fucks sake, it should be called - Bret Hart: The Hits. Actually, they WERE working together on the DVD. Bret and Shane McMahon got in a fight over something about a year ago and the decision was made to remove him from the project. So, unless something has happened since then, Bret has nothing to do with this DVD. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Shane just goes to the top of my hate list. Fuck you you stinking little bastard. The WWE is a like a girlfriend who brakes up with you and tells you to get over it, but won't stop talking about you to her friends and keeps calling you years later. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's probably one of the best WWE comparisons I've ever read. And it isn't just true for Bret's situation either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is. Its very good.
  25. This is so bogus. Hassan is off SD. We all know that Cena is facing Jericho. And we know nothing off HHH or Flair. Only Hogan-Michaels and UT-Orton (IF fit) will materialise. EDIT: And most probably Orton isnt fir cause they are going to go the Batista-UT route due to Hassan being off TV.
