The State of Tag Team Wrestling

The setup of a forum such as this, or any message board, is such that if you do not understand what was said, you can read it again- it doesn't change much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know. Dont be funny. I didnt understand what you meant by it and was being polite. I can read. What you said didnt make sense to me. Elaborate or clarify please. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fair enough. I had mentioned that I thought Trish was hot. You asked if that included her fake and real parts. I said that if you can see them (her parts) then they were real enough for me, implying that it doesn't bother me that she is not "natural.'' I hpoe that helps. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thank you and yes it does. I prefer my women natural but Id take Trish any day of the week. Call me. I must admit though, Christy in the little white dress and strut a few weeks ago, and her on the SS trailer is making me change my mind as to who is the hottest diva in the WWE.

    Hulk Hogan or Shawn Michaels?

That would really put the nail into Hulkamania brother. Yes, it must but the knockdown could happen instead of Hogan kicking out of the 1st Sweet Chin Music as I posted earlier.
  3. is Malta EVER gonna get a Wrestlemania. . . or PPV . . . or House Show for that matter. Will never happen. There was talk about Sting coming in after the Invasion, but if anything, Sting will work for TNA now. Sort of, but with a much different dynamic. Mankind was a fearless psycho who was practically impervious to pain; Sting is a mystical, paranormal figure who rarely speaks, and resides in the black shadows of stoicism. You know how the Undertaker taunts his opponents with white lightning, purple smoke, and bell tolls? Well, Sting would counteract that with black darkness, spontaneous appearances, the ominous pointing of his black bat, descenting from the rafters, the foreboding presence of the crow, his daunting theme music, etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I doubt there will be any rafter descending in WWE after the Owen thing, but I like your idea. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldnt be at all surprised if they did the rafter bit again. This is the company where 75% of the booking seems to involve death or rape. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And considering the fact that the writers dont know the history of the company.

    Hulk Hogan or Shawn Michaels?

Great, a choice between a has-been and an even bigger and older has-been. HBK. LOL. I was thinking that too. Hed most probably double-pin both of them. There is no way it should be a DQ finish. Isnt this like a 1-match deal for Hogan. Then, if it is, goes without saying that it should be Michaels. I like the idea of Michaels superkicking him when hes hulking-up, after Hogan kicks out of the 1st. Michaels could then claim that he killed Hulkamania. Could lead to an encounter between Cena and HBK down the line, with Cena having enough of Michaels shit and say theres no way he could kill the Chain Gang, cause hes real 3-$ bill yall.

    Unforgiven speculation...

You really do book weird shows. How do you get Eugene-Masters (which would be a cop-out booking wise, given that Eugene has just won the Kurt Angle Invitational), Viscera/Kane vs Snitsky/Jericho (arent both Kane and Jericho out?)and Shelton/Kerwin (Kerwin is no where near such a match) from? I cant see how there can be a Matt-Edge rematch, given that they should technically try to kill each other at SS, but I can see the WWE making it happen, along with Cena-Angle and CCC-RVD. They can easily get to HBK-Shelton, have Shelton call him a two-faced bitch. The diva search will be over by then. Your not the only one. Imagine her in the SummerSlam trailer promo.

The parts of her are real you mean, or including those that arent?

    Bret Hart meeting WWE

My sentiments exactly. I disagree. The title of "The Bret Hart Story: The Best There Is, Was, and Ever WIll Be" sounds more important and grandeous in my eyes. Maybe they could title the documentary "Excellence of Execution".

    Antonio or Romeo?

"Who gives a shit" Finally, a choice a feel passionate about.

    Anybody else growing weary...

They still make a profit and have tons of money. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not as well they used to do though from the looks of things.
  15. He showed up after he got fired for blading heavily on television after a Turner mandate that banned blood from their shows. He was around from the summer of 1989 until Royal Rumble 1991 when he and Dustin lost Dibiase & Virgil. Lex Luger mainevented for almost a year against Ric Flair in 1988 and had a very high profile feud with Ricky Steamboat in 1989. Sting was a minor player until the very tail end of the timeframe we are talking about. He broke out with the draw agianst Flair at Clash of the Champions, but didn't become a true main event until the end of 1989 when he asked Flair for a title shot and got turfed from the Horsemen. Then he got injured. The best thing that Sting did in this period was feud with Muta over the TV Title. There were still weekly shows with storylines, but they were much simpler and most of the matches were of the star/jobber variety. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Silly me, I forgot about Team Dream at the Rumble. 8-) Lex Luger has never had star potential in my eyes. Upper midcard at best. ^o) Star/jobber variety is really great to watch isnt it. Especially when you always know who the winner is.

    You Sold Out chants...

I meant football as in football, snuffbox meant football as in American football. BOSSMAN RULING! That is some funny shit right there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whats so funny about it? No, that was Blaze. How did Raven sell out? Raven was jerked off by every booker/promoter thats hes worked for. It's been said numerous times, but he really didn't sell out. Bob already pointed out that he went for less money, but all he wanted to do was, as cheesy as it sounds, be happy. At the time, he was really stressed out with the schedule, so he followed a dream. Sure, I would have preferred he stayed, but I'm not pissed at him. It's not like he walked out the day of WM, either. I think he gave at least two weeks notice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which was more than enough, considering the WWE only book 1 week in advance.
  17. No harm in that. Have the Living Dodo Larry Z decide whether the guy deserves it, take a fan vote there and then.

    Chris Candito's death

Ooops. Meant to type: And people say that promoters canT be classy. Sorry

    You Sold Out chants...

Great, that means most football players sell out too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Football players can switch teams under the table while under contract? When did free agency end? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whats free agency? You mean Bossman ruling?

    Bret Hart meeting WWE

Add Angle, McMahon and Austin to that list too. Possibly even Lance Storm, JR, Hogan and Bischoff. If it was WMXXIII, Id say yes. Otherwise, Benoit. For a WM moment, have Goldberg tied up in the ring, fans throw shit at him and Bret nails him with a chair. SOB. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think he was going for significance of what happened the last time Bret wrestled at Mania, which happened to be at that very arena and city. It's known they are very close friends and I'd think WWE would rather have Austin induct Bret rather then Benoit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahhhh, forgot that WMXIII was in Chicago. Nor that they are close freinds. I thought they would have fallen out after Montreal. The only reason I can see the WWE prefering it though is because Austin is a bigger name.

The State of Tag Team Wrestling

Yeah, but she's injured. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> On the subject of Tag Teams... How can a Tag Team feud be made interesting? It seems like it's always: a match against each other where the challengers upset the champions, Champion 1 beats Challenger 1 in a singles match, Challenger 2 beats Champion 2 in a singles match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Theres a point behind that, to get the fued on TV before the PPV match.
