I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like the only thing missing is Bruce Willis walking in at the end with a Samurai sword.

What about Scotty 2 Hotty? At least Shannon can have a reasonable match every now and then, plus he makes the hosses look good when he's getting killed by them. Scotty on the other hand, brings nothing at all, he should've been gone a long time ago. Scotty, for whatever reason, is still over. He is? Last time I saw him on Smackdown, he was greeted by complete apathy. For some unknown reason The Worm is over, but outside of that I wouldn't say he's over in the slightest.

It's not my favourite, but I think 'Eric Bischoff....You're Fiiiiiiired' would have to be Vince's favourite that he ever delivered. And does anyone remember his segment with the priest, prior to his match with the Undertaker? From what I can remember that had some funny stuff in it.

It will be Big Show channelling his Backlash 2000 performance.

Eddie & Angle has an "altercation" backstage...
Australian Pride replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I think he was one of the coaches at Minnesota while Lesnar was there. I dont know if he could have been big, like Olympic style, but he definately knows his stuff. -

Goldberg would be no trouble at all for Angle. I think he could out think Benjamin, but SB is younger so he may be quick enough to counter that. I'm going for Henry, if only because it would be harder to get someone that thick onto the ground. -
I know what you mean, the graphic visuals from 9/11 were unforgettable, even for a non-american like myself. And terrorist attacks of that nature were virtually unheard of prior to that so a big deal was made about it. But death is death, particularly in the recent Russian school attack where something like 400 kids were killed. That attack should never be forgotten either, because I think attacking kids like that is unheard of as well.

Actually, I tend to agree with this. The Madrid bombings from earlier this year were pretty much forgotten after about a week. And how long before the world forgets about the recent terrorist attack in Russia?

If you could only watch one wrestler

Kamala. BLECH! Um, yeah, there are exceptions to every rule. Hell, even smark darling Benoit has misfired a couple of times (thinks Billy Gunn, IC Title and Armageddon). And when i think about it, Bret also had a horrible US title match with an over-the-hill Roddy Piper in WCW. There just some small blemishes so he's still my pick. -
Question about Shelton Benjamin from RAW?
Australian Pride replied to UZI Suicide's topic in The WWE Folder
I like Shelton, and i think he will crack it as a top line player. And even if he doesnt make it, there's always Mark Henry and Rodney Mack to represent African Americans on Raw. -
I'd say it was Pat Patterson's.

Even the ego-maniacal HHH has said Kurt could beat the entire roster in a real fight. He wouldn't even have to throw a punch. There's a lot more to fighting than throwing punches. -
That's right, and now hopefully we can get The Godwinn's back on TV!

No chance Eddie would win, Kurt would turn him into a pretzel. I think in Eddie's case you can use the 'Looks can be decieving' line. He looks aggressive and hot tempered but I doubt he could get it done in a fight with Kurt. Sorta the same way a so-called hardman like Goldberg couldn't beat a much smaller Chris Jericho. -
Until WM18, I had never seen a better reaction to a heel than the face pops Rock was getting. It was one of the main reasons why his Breakdown 98 match with Foley & Shamrock is among my favourites. The crowd just loved him, and shit all over Shamrock.

Let's look on the bright side - Brody spent a lot of time in Japan so maybe Tomko will too. 360 days per year would be nice, and then he can come back the other 5 (or 6 in leap years) to visit his family over christmas. I'm not sure the Japanese deserve that much Tomko though.

Anyone else think this is the card we'll see (at least partly)? HBK vs Christian Jericho vs Edge (IC Title) Regal/Benoit vs Flair/Batista (tag titles - Benoit/Regal beat La Res on Raw either this week or next) HHH vs Orton (World Title) Obligatory womens match Kane vs someone who pissed Bischoff off earlier that evening
-
I always liked his line from back in 1996 (it's either the Buried Alive or Mind Games PPV). Jim Ross is in the ring ranting about how he was bringing Bret Hart back, and how Vince fired him etc. At the end he tosses the mike to Vince and says he needs it because he speaks out of both sides of his mouth. Vince catches the mike, and with a stupid grin on his face says 'Nice catch Vince'. It's not a super classic line, but the look on his face when he says it is a crack-up.

Favorite OAORaw Over-Used Joke
Australian Pride replied to The Czech Republic's topic in General Wrestling
I voted for Lita' talking (or non-talking in this case), because it just offered up so much variety (Suffle, KHAAAAN, Berschoff). The fact she couldn't even speak properly when she was reading off a card during the wedding segment was the icing on the (non-exploding) cake. -
I blame Bart Gunn for that.

Personally, I'd love to see William Regal get the nod. Then they can play off the previous altercations between him and HHH which never really had any closure. In WWE land though, it will come down to HBK, Jericho and Benoit. Benoit might get the shot just so he can job to HHH on PPV, but i think they will go with HBK. Jericho will be in an IC title match on the undercard (against Edge most likely).
-
Rebuttal: True. As much as i'd like to say that one day he will get a short (or even long) reign as US/IC champ I dont think it will happen. They wont elevate Rey to being a heavyweight beater so they wont elevate London.
-
Thanks for sharing. Statement: William Regal needs to be the next PPV challenger to the world title.

And after staying in for a record 67 minutes, the winner of the 2005 Royal Rumble - Randy Orton!
