Once again, this is Wade Keller we are talking about people. Half his stories seem made up with his so called "sources say" and "friends of". I'll believe all of this if Meltzer reports it. And in regards to Michaels selling, I thought it made the match one of Hogan's best singles matches in years all because of Michaels. Mr. Perfect would sell just Michaels did for Hogan and Terry Funk used to sell that way too. It's called making a match against an opponent who can't wrestle for SHIT look good by creating movement. And to those who say HBK's selling was too cartoony, just look at Hogan. Hulking up isn't cartoony??

Good points Tino. I thought Shawn's selling added to the match and who cares if it was over the top. Hulk Hogan himself is over the top.

Yeah but if you read Triple H's workout book he talks about the Backlash 2002 match and saying how he felt it was wrong for business for him to lose to Hogan and was COMPLETELY against it. But there was nothing he could do.

And fuck Hulk Hogan. He is a piece of shit. At least Shawn got a great match out of Hogan that he CARRIED the whole way. Kudos to Shawn for proving his point that Hogan is a talentless immobile slug and for Shawn emerging out of the match as the "real" winner.

He suffered a few knee injuries since late 2004 that took him off for a couple months at a time, the most recent in June when he hyperextended his knee and was out for three weeks from Edge giving him a "concussion." The only time he has taken off from TV non-injury related was for two months last summer after his HIAC with Triple H because his wife was having a baby girl.

Those video packages are tremendous. They definitely got me even more pumped for the show than I already am.

Triple H did not pin Austin to win the title.

What about Austin refusing to job to HHH at Summerslam 99? It had to get changed to a three way and HHH winning the belt the next night on Raw from Foley was not how it should have been done.

If anyone has that Flair/HBK- Savage/Hart match and would be so kind as to send it to me, I'd be eternally greatful.

Maybe Bret can come out and instead of actually hitting Shawn, Shawn just stares at Bret in shock and Hogan takes advantage of that when Shawn turns around and beats him 1-2-3. I really hope Hogan does not win clean.

I actually think the whole card is extremely strong, probably the best SummerSlam card in a long time, comparable to 2002. There is not one filler match on the whole card except Benoit-Jordan.

Shawn has jobbed CONSIDERABLY on PPV since 2002.

That would be pretty sweet if it was on the DVD. Maybe as an easter egg.

Isn't Meltzer really good friends with Hart? I would think he is slighlty biased. And Bret's whole thing about not wanting to job in Canada because he is a national hero I never understood. Does that mean an American wrestler can refuse to job to a non-American on American soil?

What I said was just my personal opinion. No need to ignore me because I have a different opinion. I wasn't calling out anybody or anything. I know I have an unpopular and some may say stupid stance on the situation but that's just me. So no need to put me on ignore. Yeah I myself have been getting into ROH a lot recently. I love Bret Hart in the ring but seriously, he can go fuck himself. Bottom line, though Hogan has no right to say shit cause he's a backstabbing prick, the fact is that Bret Hart should have jobbed on his way out of the WWE to whoever Vince wanted him too. It doesn't matter if he hated Michaels or didn't want to job to him again because Michaels refused to job to Bret or if Michaels was a dick to him. It's a time honored tradition to job on your way out of the company.

I've always liked Bagwell. I always thought he had the perfect look and he wasn't that bad in the ring IMO. He deserves a second chance in the WWE.
